Where Are You Going First?

What normal thing will you do first? What routine errand will you run?

Last night I thought about this. I am desperate for a leisurely lunch and trip to Costco with samples!!!!

yes we have a new baby cousin and are dying to see him. I miss my family so much. My husband’s grandmother is 93 and in a nursing home. Going to see her, as well!

Going on a cruise ASAP.

I will go hiking and camping. I have trips planned for May. I can wait to sit around a campfire and chill out after a long day of hiking.

Go out to a restaurant for a great dinner on the water.

My husband and I watch Diners, Drive-ins & Dives to reminisce what its like to sit in a restaurant and have a nice meal.

As soon as its safe a cruise for sure, I need my DCL fix.

DH and I will probably go the movies, and I can't wait to go to dinner with my sister.

Also I'm looking forward to seeing all of my students (preschool aged) but I'm worried about the repercussions from hugging and general physical contact. I'm not so much worried about our health, but the 'social acceptance' factor

I'm hopping in the car and heading south. DH has a job offer (promotion within his company) that will involve relocation to one of two out-of-state plants - either Columbia, TN or Eastaboga, AL - and it is killing me a little to be limited to internet research in trying to decide whether we should go for it and, if so, which location would be better. I just want to drive down there, walk the streets of the towns we're considering, talk to people, visit schools and get a real feel for the place(s).

As far as routine around town things, I'll go to work. I teach at a preschool, and even if school is canceled until the end of the year (it's not yet...), I'll head there and get some things done. I will get all the projects that are hanging sorted out and delivered to students and make up packets of all the things that we missed while we were out of school for them.

As soon as it's deemed safe, I am going to drive to see my parents and my adult children. They are several hours away (in different directions), but I'll make the rounds as soon as I can.

DS's house and getting those grand kids in a REAL hug!! I miss them so much.
They have spend 2 weekends a month with us since they were born (ones 6 and one 3).

I'm throwing my grandma a huge birthday party when this was all over, and then I'm booking my trip to Indonesia! It was supposed to be in June, but now it's on hold till this is over. My light at the end of the tunnel is hugging my grandma, and then taking a trip to see Komodo dragons in the wild!

Good question. Regular routine place probably our local Mexican restaurant. Away from home, most likely a camping trip first to south Georgia to visit the in-laws and then to wherever we can find a park with vacancies. We cancelled a trip to the Savannah area for next week so probably a do over of that. We were going to stay in a state park, Georgia's are still open but the beaches and River Street in Savannah pretty much closed down and I would probably get bored after about 3 days of just staying at the state park. After that, if it's still happening most like F&W at WDW with my son.

I'm hoping my 18 year old daughter gets in 1 more travel soccer tournament before college.

So sad to think she may have played her last one 3/7 and we didn't know it. She's played since kindergarten and her brothers before that. End of a 20 year era for us.

Would also want her to have her high school graduation ceremony.

Thursday night happy hour with friends. We did this regularly.

DD requested a party at the house with all of our friends and their kids.

SO wants to do a guys poker night at the house.

Going out to dinner as a family.

I will go right to my daughter's house, snatch up those grandkids, and bring them back home with me. We were supposed to keep them last weekend while mom and dad went to a concert and of course that didn't happen. I need to see them in person and touch them, and their parents really need a break.
