My SiriusXM trial supposedly ended. I wouldn't know since I've never turned it on.

But, all kinds of offers come, and I've ignored them. Now, it's $5 a month for 12 months. Previous was for 5 or 6 months.

I'm mostly posting this to let people know that it's possible to get that low. Still probably not interested - I just don't use my radio that much even on longer trips.

Will any of you be at wdw around 4/20 or after that are passholders?

I am looking at that date or the following week. That date is my preference so I can try for both magnets same trip. Silly.

If I go ahead and book - I really need to do it now, I'll announce on here.

Generally, different shopping portals don't stack with one another. Compare different payout rates using cashbackmonitor.com and pick the one with the highest earn rate in the currency you value.
Up pretty early this morning? Actually, thank you for this information. I was looking at Cash back last night right before I ordered from Amazon. Then I just ordered without thinking clearly. It was only $31 but still, I think I could have gone through Chase and got a few UR's.

Well I'm getting my taxes done in about 90 minutes. It's going to be brutal. We will owe a lot and the prep will cost a lot. I'll put the tax prep cost on my Hilton Amex toward the $15k spend. I'll come back here when I know how much I owe to sketch out ideas on credit cards to sign up for to at least get a bonus back. :crazy2:

I've been having trouble sleeping.

Anyway, Amazon is a funny one. Their cash/points back is only for purchases in select categories, which fall in an "up to" range.

I didn’t think Chase had a shopping portal for Amazon. I’ll have to try that next time. I usually use amazon small for a charity because most of the time when I have tried for a shopping portal either amazon doesn’t credit or it’s a very small amount.

I am lucky my brother does my taxes, too complicated for me. We are going to owe too so I’m not in a big hurry.

I also am getting nervous about our August cruise. My PIF date is end of March I think and I still owe about $200. I'm not usually an alarmist but the Diamond Princess stories are unreal.
isnt this still that original cruiseship that was quarantined? I haven't seen anything from any other cruises...unless I'm missing something.....

IDK. I'm not an alarmist, also not an ostrich with head in the sand type. It 'feels' to me like this is a media induced fear.... Is this virus a real thing? Yes. Does it kill some people? Yes. Is it killing people at the same rate as the 'average' flu that is always present, each and every year? No,not even close. And yet, here we are. (not this thread specifically) in full blown panic mode...the stock market, any sort of travel to any place, buying survival supplies like we all just figured out that things like this can and do happen regularly.... :confused3 I'm just unsure how to think or really react to most of this currently, especially concerning travel of any sort.

I always owe. I have one monthly disbursement where nothing is taken out. Doesn't bother me at all as I'm used to it.

Approved for Business Delta Reserve with DH’s support from his Delta Plat Biz. My Delta Plat Biz AF hit and is due next week. I applied anyway knowing I would close that if approved. I applied, it came up they need more time. Maybe half hour later I got a call from Amex explaining that they would “love to approve me but a limit of 5 credit cards and was there a card I would like to close?” I said “yes the Delta Plat Biz.” For those in a similar situation at the 5 credit card limit with Amex I think that is the best way to do it since that way you are not closing a card out before application and putting yourself at the possible risk of a pop up.

I do my own taxes, but do make payments to the IRS with a credit card for a fee. Don’t remember exactly, but less than 2%. I am self-employed and make quarterly payments, and try to line up getting new cards with that timeline. Easy way to knock out a MSR.

Just looked and there is no Amazon showing.

When you select your AmEx airline for the credits one year, does it automatically stay the same for the following year?

I booked dd home for her brother's wedding weekend (dude, why did you choose the weekend before her finals??) and had to use American for the only nonstops between IND and PHL. I'm thinking of using some of our credits to get her a better seat.

Edit to add: We had selected AA last year on both our cards (dh Gold, my Plat) so that we could bump our free-from-voucher seats up to Main Cabin Extra for the Rome trip.

That’s good to know. I just bought a new car in Nov and it came with a free trial. I don’t listen to it much, but do like it for road trips. Don’t take that many, so not willing to pay much for it, but might do it at that price. Thanks for sharing.

I think that you can change the airline once per year. So you should be able to change it to AA this year.

I must have imagined I saw Amazon on Chase yesterday because it's not there right now.

I slept best when on vacation. I was more active, and up and walking around the lake at 5 to 7ish, depending on when I awoke, etc. Once home it downward spiraled quickly as it's cool here and I don't want to go outside much.
