The reason why I ask is if we are in the park this Saturday and don't get one, maybe it will be good to keep trying anyhow just in case this happens again?

well, this hasn't happened before so not really sure what happens. I assume that, like with FP, if someone drops the BG then it becomes available again and someone new can then secure it when they try via the app, but I don't know for sure

Well as here is someone writing while beeing in the park I bet it will take not that long till they know about it.

And I meant that they will fix the ticket issue in Leigh´s account.

Seriously, they know I'm planning when I haven't told them yet LOL. Their predictive tech has gotten GOOD.

Hope they fix this quickly and people get BGs...and the ride has a good day! (Even if the app isn't)

Reading through the posts here I decided to give the practice run a try this morning. It worked and I got boarding group 72 for my group of 12 who will be going in May. I figured Disney would ultimately kick me out of the group since none of us are in the park but it hasn’t. So if I have a boarding group for 12 that I’m not going to use won’t that take away from all the others who are trying to get them in the park? I’m guessing there are quite a few people trying this practice thing...

if nothing else, click on my status and remove everyone from your BG. If they are able to come up with a way to issue more BGs you won’t be holding any spaces.

So, we land in Orlando, and voila! Everyone can get BGs from wherever they are! As I said, the Force is strong in my family!!

Not in the park but my daughter and wife are. They got BG 13 this morning but said it seemed like there were a lot of disappointed people compared to when we were there Saturday.

Her BG is still showing in the app but no groups have begun boarding the ride

Not sure about GET lines. I think they were rope dropping Rocking Rollercoaster. I will ask her and If I hear anything I will post

I was able to drop it by removing everyone from the the BG. I feel bad for those at the park now....

I have always had success in practice from home...until today. Those of us who were never able to get in this morning, does anyone have the app update? I’m just wondering if that affected anything. I have been hesitant to update, but if I have to...

unless something else introduced a corruption and turned insidePark to true always after it was set based on scan.
I wonder if they are making any change to switch to fastpass.

Really with MDE they should be able to see first whether your linked tickets are even active yet before even allowing you to try to reserve a BG, and then secondly if you have actually tapped into DHS that morning. That would prevent a lot of unnecessary reservation attempts even though all the practicers would be out of luck.
