@jkips On Stranger Tides, Home Alone 1 & 2, Sandlot and Dr Doolittle pulled Jan 1 due to licensing agreements. I haven't found out where they will be showing up, but since I own them I haven't looked that hard either. Expect this go on until around 2026.

Around 2026 is when a lot of stuff starts going back to Netflix.

I just can't imagine Disney will let some of their big movies go to a competitor in 6 years. Granted, in 6 years, I doubt anyone will be super interested in streaming "old" movies (especially if Netflix only has "some" of the Disney catalog) but I feel like Disney will renegotiate a new contract or something.

Diary of a future president looks good. If you have daughters they will probably love this show.

good to hear - saw that it was available now and thinking of making a point to watch it with the family this weekend (looking for things to watch with the snow coming tomorrow)

I would certainly expect Disney to try, but for Netflix, depriving their competition of major content could be enough incentive to refuse any deal. Its so far away that things could easily change before then though.

Ya.. That is sort of my point. Who knows. Netflix could shift their model to just their own content and not even want a few Disney movies anymore. :)

I know Imagineering is over and supposedly not coming back but if its definitely over for good, why is it listed as Season 1 with episodes. Usually when a show is going to be one and done, its listed as "parts". So, instead of listing Imagineering as a 6 Part special, they listed it as Season 1. Am I just wishful thinking here or is there actually a chance its coming back.

My guess is just organization of how they display shows. I don't know what more they could do with a Season 2. It was a pretty complete documentary.

Which makes me wonder why Forky Asks a Question are listed as separate shorts rather than "episodes" of the "show": Forky Asks A question. Makes it hard to find them all sometimes.

They changed Forky over to appear as a collection so it’s all in one spot. While also keeping the single ones in the Shorts list.62EB782C-915A-4CAE-AF8D-CCBF34B6E791.jpeg

I’m embarrassed to say we still have not seen Toy Story 4! But at least we don’t have much longer of a wait! It is reported to be coming on Disney+ on February 5, so we are really excited to see it! I actually have an alert on my phone so we don’t forget! I can’t wait to see it!

We haven't seen Toy Story 4 yet either, so we're excited it will be on Disney+ on February 5. I haven't seen the 2019 version of The Lion King either, so I'm excited it will be coming out on January 28, even though it didn't get the best reviews. My wife saw it in the theater, but she said she wouldn't mind seeing it again.

Lion King has never been on my must see list. I think I just saw the cartoon version last year to be honest! 😬

Oh I think there’s a ton they could do with the Imagineering series. Just go through each individual park and explain why theming is done the way it is in certain parts. Show some secrets, some not easily identified stuff. Basically bringing the “Imagineering Field Guide” books to life.

As good as those six episodes were, it definitely left me wanting more, as much of it was pretty broad themes and topics, not a whole lot of nitty gritty detail.

They are doing a show about the development of specific attractions, but it is a different production. I am not sure when it is coming, but I have heard about it.
