Oh, I miss Dick’s.

Obviously I don't either from what I posted...so it seems we're bringing things back together after yesterday's episode
I enjoyed reading to my children in a British Accent. All children's books are read in a British Accent by me... and my fave is Mr. Brown can Moo! ****-A-Doodle-Doo was just meant for a cockney accent!
I got the BoA Biz MC last year (the one where you choose which category you want to receive 3% in) and I have it set for travel and am using it to pay my mortgage through Plastiq. It is currently coding as travel.
I like the CFU or BBP for all non category spend. I use my Arrival+ a ton too.
CFU and Amex Everyday
Thanks very much! I'm trying to figure out what dh could use for non-category spending. He's been using his Gold for everything, except for CF 5x categories and Hyatt for its categories. Unfortunately, he's not comfortable with getting any more business cards beyond his CIP. I might just wait until the one year anniversary and have him PC his CIP to a CIU. Or if the CF categories continue to be underwhelming, that might turn into a CFU lolChase: CFU or CIU
Amex: BBP but an argument can be made for the Everyday Amex if you are doing 20 transactions or more.
Again it will come down to the math and how each person uses/redeems their points and the concrete and subjective value.
Your comment reminded me of the INCREASED Blue Business Plus offer that expires on 1/29/20!I will probably go for a BBP at some point, maybe this year.
Just an FYI: If you think you can apply for CSP or CSR now then you probably can also apply for CIP now. Chase Pacing recommendations are generally 3 months wherever possible but you can push it from time to time.Sooo since I've decided to stop worrying about Amex, I plan to stick with Chase exclusively.
Currently at 2/24.
I cannot apply for a CIP until 2/1, so I've basically been wasting spend for at least two months now.
Would you recommend applying for the:
1- Chase Sapphire Preferred right now, or maybe even the
2-Chase Sapphire Reserve (since I'm traveling this calendar year I THINK I could make use of the travel credit) or
3-just waiting until 2/1 when I can apply for the CIP?
I know that I'll have a $600 hotel bill at the DLH at the beginning of March. Will that work to trigger the $300 travel credit if I had the CSR? A $150 AF is a lot easier to stomach than a $450 AF and I'd hopefully be getting in before the fee increases (guess I'd better go read up on that).
Ohhhhh gotcha. Forgot about 3 months between ANY apps. If I can't do CIP now, I also can't do CSR or anything else now. Darn it!!!!Just an FYI: If you think you can apply for CSP or CSR now then you probably can also apply for CIP now. Chase Pacing recommendations are generally 3 months wherever possible but you can push it from time to time.
Also, I'd be hesitant to go for CSP or CSR without considering both via the MDD. And for that I would HIGHLY recommend waiting the full 3 months before attempting.
HmmmmmmmmmYour comment reminded me of the INCREASED Blue Business Plus offer that expires on 1/29/20!
Probably worth a reminder comment - available via support link:
Earn 15,000 Membership Rewards® points after you spend $5,000 in within 3 months PLUS, get a 0% introductory APR for 12 months on purchases and balance transfers. Offer ends 01/29/2020
So this is a biz card, with a 0% intro APR and a decent offer. I'm not trying to cause FOMO or have people go for something they didn't want, but this one warrants consideration since it's a no AF biz card that earns 2x MRs on everything AND can keep your MRs active!
Sooo since I've decided to stop worrying about Amex, I plan to stick with Chase exclusively.

If I just complicated your life...you're welcome!Hmmmmmmmmm
Yes, thank you to you and @SouthFayetteFan for reminding me of this! I was thinking of Biz and Personal as two separate entities! Which they are in some ways but not in others!Keep in mind that going for any Chase card would affect the spacing of your CIP app.
P.S. @SouthFayetteFan got it.
Maybe. I tried it after seeing a shared DP on this thread, and since I already had the card I figured I didn't have a lot to lose by trying. The other 3% categories are gas stations (default), office supply stores, TV/telecom & wireless, computer services or business consulting services (like accountants/legal services). 2% on dining and 1% everywhere else. For a no fee MC it's a nice one to have. This is a cool data point. I wonder if it's just your specific mortgage company that codes that way.
Lol that’s.....um interestingObviously I don't either from what I posted...so it seems we're bringing things back together after yesterday's episode
