Is it okay to put family first? (Response to royal family stuff)

I think I said it was my opinion. Did I state they were facts? I seriously doubt Meghan, Harry or the royal family care one whit about my opinion. And, I've been around for a minute. Folks have oppositional views.. I'm good with that.

I'm sure all of the "opinions" flying around the UK about the Duchess in the crap tabloids is one of the reasons they're bailing out. But hey, whatever. Retreat to neutral corners.

I think Meghan didn't anticipate her sister, father and other "family" members to come out so strongly against her. If they had not caused such a stir by talking to the tabloids and the media outlets, this defection from royal life might not be happening.

I don't believe HER family is to blame She doesn't appear to get along with Harry's family either. I don't believe it's EVERYBODY ..except Megan. Just my observation.

I love Harry and Meghan for the simple fact that they continue to annoy and give the middle finger to the stick-up-their-butts crowd concerning propriety and royal protocol.

If I'm understanding correctly, they didn't inform Queenie of their plans and let the old bat hear about it through social media. If so, awesome!!!

And they get to keep the house and other things gifted to them!!! Excellent!!!

What's the title?🤣

Duchess, Countess and Baroness

Oh, but the one that truly counts is Her Royal Highness, which has enormous legal and social significance. That title was a key issue in the fight over Wallis Simpson, and again in the divorce of the late Princess of Wales (and historically, also in the attempted divorce of the first Princess of Wales to go to court over the end of her marriage: Caroline of Brunswick, in 1820.) Sarah Ferguson also lost the HRH in her divorce.

No one who has ever divorced an HRH has managed to keep that title, and the only previously divorced person ever to marry into the royal family who has been granted the right to use it is HRH the Duchess of Cornwall (Camilla.)

This particular title is normally only granted to the children & grandchildren of the sovereign, who can also decide to withhold it. Losing it would be a nasty blow to the Duke & Duchess of Sussex, given their ambitions in the area of charitable endeavours. That magical HRH is a proven money magnet when it comes to attracting large donations.

Prince Harry is sixth in line to the throne he is a possible heir to the throne.
For now. Assumes:
Queen Elizabeth steps down or dies
Charles, son of two nonegarian parents, becomes king, lives at least 20 years.
Eventually, William becomes king (late 50s?)
Will and Kate have no more children.
By the time Will ascends, they have grandchildren.

Harry being in line for the throne is just theoretical. Ain't never gonna be king.

Of course he made the right decision. The whole idea of a Royal family nowadays is all a farce and a bit old fashioned to me.

He had an interview where he basically said he doesn't want the same thing to happen to his wife as what happened to his mum. Why anybody even cares about their decision is incomprehensible for me.

what he wants is the fun bits the royal tours (but only nice comments never dare critique him) he wants the multi million pound house (the only way he can stay in that is PAY RENT) and they want money for security. There is no in half way its in or out and if they want out then renounce the titles but they don't want to do that because they want to make money on them. This is coming from a pair of spoiled brats who took everything given but then decide to disrespect not only his grandmother (not an old bat how rude) but also the people WHO PAY FOR THEM. As for the comments on his mother the truth about her was coming out and the only reason she died was because her driver was drunk and she didn't wear a seatbelt.

How can he be saying he wants financial independence though yes he has said he wants to give up the royal grant money but that is only 5% of the money he gets he has told his dad he wants to keep his funding from the Duchy of Cornwall that is currently £2.3 million a year. How is demanding only the fun foreign tours (but only journalists they like let any where near them) demanding the free use of the house and by the way dad keep giving us £2.3 million a year financial independence? How does Meghan expect to fund clothes like she had 2019 when she spent £1 million in clothes.

So, he should pass the Duchy pon his father's side...

That is not what he wants though he wants his dad keep giving him that £2.3 million though reports are his dad is considering cutting the funds
