I wonder how strict they are on the two hour return window. We will have an infant (napping in afternoon hence the 5pm return) so we will have to ride in two groups. For that matter, are they doing rider swap? Didn’t even think about that.

yes they do rider swap but still everyone that wants to ride needs to get a bg first thing

this definitely doesn't work. We've had reports of people being next to each other getting wildly different bg numbers

But isn’t that with the 60-90 second boarding groups from last week? It seems more orderly now. I just mean that if someone next to you just got BG 80, don’t wait and get a BG now.

I believe it was yesterday we had someone report this situation, where they got, lets say 33, the group next to them got 116 and the other group got 8

But it was just yesterday that regular boarding groups were gone in just 5 minutes.
Things are so unpredictable, I would’t recommend waiting to try to get a late group.

Also, if there are problems with the ride, then you might not get to ride at all.

And another reason not to try and try for a late boarding group! Ack! In two days it will be us trying. I feel for all of the folks who got up early, won the lottery with a low bg, and now wondering what the heck is happening! Good luck!

they have been uploading a ticket plus fp directly to your MDE, but if you don't get to ride, you'll see a notification saying that they can't get to your group. If you don't see the added ticket and fp then go to Guest Relations

If you have a regular BG and they don't get to you they should automatically push to your account and anytime FP and q day park ticket but definitely talk to a GET CM to ensure and if you have any questions

I believe yesterday they finished with "guaranteed" bg 3 hours before park closing

It finally opened, BG 9 is the first of the day. Delayed opening at 8:20am for @SouthFayetteFan

Before the BG's for ROTR started we booked a PPO breakfast at MK and a Dinner reservation at HS later in the day on Jan 26th.
So we are spending the morning in MK, going back to Art of Animation after lunch for a rest and will go to HS around 4.

We do have 1 full day ( 27th) and a half morning ( 31st) scheduled for DS, will try and get a BG for both those days, but we may go to DS for 7am on the 26th and try get a BG for ROTR for later in the day.

My guess is that the majority of BG will fill up in just a couple of minutes. My plan as of now, is to try about 7:03 and hope we get something late afternoon, early evening. I know that its possible we could end up in the backup group and not even get a chance to ride, but this is our plan for that day as of now. Things could definitely change before then.

no fp or standby, just bg. We don't know when or if they will switch

Just Boarding Groups... The only FPs issued right now are if they can't through the "garanteed" BG for a day.

Okay, so based on what I’ve read, HS issues boarding groups once the park officially opens, not when people start entering, correct? How do you get a boarding group? On the app?

My apologies as I'm sure in 160 pages this has been answered. But if the park opens at 7am, and you cannot get on a BG until the park opens, why are people going there at 4:30am and why are they letting people into the park at 6:15? So everyone is just standing there waiting to get in? What happens btwn 6:15 and 7am when you can actually get a BG?

I leave on Sunday and I just cannot imagine how this is working and why people are getting up so early? Am I being naive in thinking I can show up 45min before park opens and actually get on this ride next week?
