Mine is pretty straight forward. Had a $50 GC, ordered 2 items for ~$47 so I have a ~$3 balance. Since I cancelled the one item I should have much more available but it is still showing only ~$3. You can see the activity on the card and it has just one transaction for the $47 (even though it should only be ~$12 for the one item I picked up)
Hopefully it rights itself tomorrow, otherwise I guess I'm calling.
Ok, they finally sent me my refund. Dispute picking up a "Reload and Reuse" GC, the website still can't reload and it sent me an eGC

So my new problem is I want to combine it with my original GC but I see on my account there is no way to tell which card is going to be primary when I pick "combine cards". I have one $0 card it won't let me delete listed first, the card I want to reload, and then I'd be adding the new eGC. Right now when I hit the combine button I don't get any options, is it just because I only have 2 GCs listed? I should probably just hit the button and see what happens, but Target .com is sometimes unpredictable.

I screwed up so bad with SW. I booked two flight options for me and ds, to go say goodbye to my dad. I didn't add the companions because there seemed to be plenty available. So we get everything set up, pick the weekend that would make it so my dh would be able to with us, and the sitter could stay with the dogs. Went to book companions this morning, and the flight (and most others that day) is sold out!!! The only option is to book a connecting flight at 8 am (we live over an hour from the airport) instead of our direct flight at 4pm, for double the points! The points for that flight kept increasing while I watched.
Other alternative we go the weekend before that I have booked, but then dh can't do, and we will get home at 10pm on Christmas Eve. I am sooooooooooo angry at myself!! It's so screwed up.

Don't be hard on yourself, things happen. Is there a possibility you can all go after Christmas?

I don't have any problem with potlucks and we do them at work all the time. But I tell you what, nothing irks me more than going somewhere like Chipotle and watching somebody reach over the sneezeguard to point at something. Last time I went and someone did that, the girl working there immediately interrupted him and was like "SIR, PLEASE DO NOT REACH OVER THE GLASS." He seemed irritated by her comment, but I was pleased lol.
😂😂😂

Is there a max number of offers that can be added to an Amex card?

I've got 97 Available, and 92 on my card.

I wish we could "dismiss" the Amex notifications like "More places to use your card", "Use Points on Dell.com", "Upgrade with Points", etc.

We need to upgrade one of my sons IPhone. The ATT website says $20/month for 30 mo this (or vice versa) for an XR. We are going to call their retention offer to see if there is something better because that just seems like a lot but I notice the monthly payment plan mentions “credit worthy”. I know it’s been mentioned here how some store pay over time offers are actually credit cards for 5/24 purposes. Would this mess with 5/24? My husband is at 2/24 and I don’t want to make a mistake with this.

Anyone see the new United offer? - https://www.doctorofcredit.com/chas...40000-miles-200-annual-fee-waived-first-year/

Really thinking about going for it. It's a pretty good chance we'll fly United to Hawaii next year, and I could also use the GE credit for myself. Wonder if I could buy a United GC for the $200 statement credit.

With United's new dynamic pricing, 40k miles isn't going to get you very far. Economy awards to Hawaii typically start at 22.5k miles each way and go up from there. The real benefit of the United card is you can downgrade it after a year to a no-AF card and still have access to expanded economy-class award availability. If you use MPX to buy eGCs, having a United card added to your MileagePlus account also gets you a 25% cardmember bonus on miles earned.

My dad texted me today saying Iowa state is playing in Orlando on December 28. I would totally go but of course we’ll be in IOWA instead of Florida lol.

And that is the game DD would be wanting to go to - not for Iowa. lol We will be so close, yet so far away. lol We get to Tampa that day, but I think we are in the air for most of the game.

:scared::rotfl:
I totally get what you mean, I'm always just fascinated by this because by the time I was turned loose on potluck/party/buffet food, I had the law laid down to me that that kind of thing was wrong and if I was ever caught doing something like that that not only would I be in trouble but I would also have my solo food privileges revoked. That went along with the expectation to take some vegetable or fruit with my meal unless there was truly nothing I liked in those categories as a picky kid.
oh that brings up another pet peeve.... as much as I love little kiddos, I don't understand why most parents today don't watch their kids at these type of things! when mine were small they were likewise informed of their limits, and I always made sure they had a parent along to make sure they weren't being 'grubby' with the food table...it's just common sense! It's kind of a thing nowadays I guess... :confused3
