I LOVE Target drive up!! Although they finally started charging the CA mandated $.10/bag last month at my store. Except they automatically charge it and I have to chat to have it reversed and tell them I had refused the bag. Why can’t they program a button like Walmart has that says no bags? I feel like a jerk chatting over a $.10 refund. But c’mon. It’s my $.10!

Here in SF, I’m being charged a mandatory $1.00 bag fee for pickup orders! It’s so ridiculous that I can avoid the fee by having my order shipped to me for free (but with a much larger carbon foot print than a single plastic bag that should cost, as you pointed out, 10¢)!

Love all the Baby Yoda talk. He's so cute. I haven't even seen The Mandalorian yet, lol. But we'll be getting Disney+ with our new Verizon service.

DS showed me this, by the person who did It's Raining Tacos. The kids and I will just randomly start singing it. 😆

I haven't used Target Circle either. I figured my red card was where the savings were at. Maybe I should be looking into it now?
You have good answers before but I'll add that if you use a gift card and the RedCard on the same order you don't earn the 1% Circle rebate on any of it.
It's not much, I think I'm at 2.50 "lifetime" savings  , but it's a little something extra on top of whatever discount you got on the gift card.
Also when you add your birthday they'll give an extra 5% coupon for a week from your b-day.

The Circle offers (fka Cartwheel) range from 5 -50% off. Mostly at the lower end, but I've found some good deals and it adds up. When the 20% coupon comes out I do an epic shopping trip for all the stuff I rarely get a sale or coupon for, plus whatever is good on Circle plus anything I do have a coupon for and then pay with my 10% off Target GC. Last year I think it was an overall 40% off. It's a bit of work though for a large trip ( I roam the store for at least an hour :D) but it's pretty quick to scan stuff as you go to check for offers on a more normal trip.

Did you say, DCA? We had a wonderful view seeing it in person on top the Pixar Pal-A-Round last week!

Don’t you just love how the Matterhorn blends right in with the snow covered mountains in the distance?
BEAUTIFUL PICTURES!!! I had to do a double take to find it. I am such a DL amateur. 🤣

lol that’s my home screen on my phone as of Sunday!

The melody is the same one they used for Baby Monkey Riding on a Pig.

lol we NEVER ride the swinging gondolas!
I didn't realize there was so much hate for the swinging gondolas. That was AWESOME to me when we went :D I really enjoyed adding a little thrill factor to my ferris wheel :D

Nope nope nope to the swinging gondolas. I wanted to try it because the last time I had done it like 7 years ago I got really motion sick and it ruined the fun. WHY I thought that wouldn't happen this time is anyone's guess. We hadn't even made it to the top and I had my eyes closed so I wouldn't puke! Star Tours and the Harry Potter ride previously held the record for 'fastest to make me hurl' but Funwheel of Death may have won.

If the ride COMES WITH puke bags....

I know I saw it here a while back, the question of needing more trip insurance on a cruise than just CSR...is this true?

The CSR covers you for trip cancellation and trip interruption. Separate insurance covers a whole lot more. Like medical evacuation (what I'm most worried about for cruises) and medical (if your insurance doesn't cover you outside the country). It may also cover things like missed connection (if you miss the ship), cancel for work reasons, etc.

I've noticed an interesting thing with Marriott promotions. If you happen to have overlapping promotions, and have a stay that qualifies during the overlapping timeframe, you get credit for both promos.

I had one (let's call it Promo 1) that was going to give me 2000 points after 2 stays. I also had one (Promo 2) that was tiered for 4000 points after 1 weekend stay, 6000 after a 2nd weekend stay, and 8000 after a 3rd weekend stay. I had 2 nights last weekend at 2 different properties - the first night counted for 1 stay toward the 2000 points (Promo 1), but I also got 4000 points for that same stay (Promo 2). The second night counted as a stay to complete the promo for 2000 points. But unfortunately it didn't count as a weekend stay because it was a Sun night (only Fri and Sat count for Promo 2).

After completing the 2000 point promo, it unlocked my next promo of 3 stays for 6000 points (Promo 3, not compelling to be honest). But I expect that if I try to get another weekend night, I would get 6000 points (Promo 2) and it would also count as a night toward Promo 3.

Incidentally, I've noticed this same kind of overlapping promo with Starbucks rewards too.

Just got a FedEx Home Delivery notification my package will be delivered this Sunday. Is that new? I don't recall FedEx doing Sunday delivery last year. I knew USPS is doing it already for the holiday rush...
Same thing happened to me today...
