I honestly can’t make heads or tails on this one - something is missing here. Pull up a PDF of your statement. Does it say you owed anything? Does it show the AF?

If you don’t have a CSR, it doesn’t matter what card you park your URs on. If you gave a CSP, I’d keep them on that card just out of general paranoia of potential future changes that will likely never occur and the fact that you could upgrade that to a CSR. I would keep them all together between spouses on one card prioritized in this order: (1) CSR, (2) CSP, (3) CIP.

This is INSANE! I Am so sorry you are caught up in all of this craziness! I can’t even put into words how angry this makes me for you. Just an epic level Disney IT fail here.
Ugh! That’s awful!

I love gingerbread cookies and had the same experience at Grand Floridian a few years ago. Bought a cute decorated cookie and it tasted awful. Agree they are meant to be decorative not edible.
It was more puffed up like a cake. It was just really bad. Idk if they were trying to keep it soft or what but it was a fail lol

@smallsy Loved that pic with Kevin!!

We left Epcot early afternoon. Just so packed. Went to HS. Not a lot better there but enjoyed the outfits of everybody dressed up for Dapper Day! DD liked that too. Rode swirling saucers and walked about SW land for the first time. Way bigger than I expected! So cool! We’re taking a break back at the room now before heading to MK for the evening. Having a great time!

@Limes96 - can't remember - are you DVC? If so and you plan another trip I agree with @kmc8826 . I upgraded a 7 day park hopper to a DVC gold for $276. The park hopper was purchased in 1/2017 for $411. I haven't done the math for a non dvc upgrade.

Just be careful with the upgrade. I got the wrong price first try so said never mind. I then just used it to enter Epcot. Eventually visited Guest Services inside the park and got the price I was willing to pay. Used gift cards for the $276 so an additional savings of about $40 there. Actually I went more than twice - I needed to hear $276 several times before I paid. So each of my three trips will cost me $215. I go again in Feb 2020 and Oct/Nov 2020. I priced this out earlier in a posting but can't find it to see if my anticipated figures are matching my actual outcome.

No, we aren’t DVC. Have rented points a couple times, that’s all. We have 3 day PH for the weekend, so it would still be pretty pricey.

Future plans in 2020:
March: 5 nights in Naples, FL over spring break with DD

May-June: 16 night trip to Europe - Edinburgh, London, Paris, Venice. It will be 4 of us, including DH and DS19. I don’t think it will work out for my older son to come, but I tried to get accommodations to where he’d fit if he could come for part of the trip.

That’s all I have right now. I’d really like to see the Riverwalk in San Antonio sometime. I’ve seen pics and it looks lovely. A train trip through the Canadian Rockies is another idea on the list.

We’re on our way home now. We played pinball in the arcade at the contemporary and looked at the gingerbread house. Then we went to MK. We got the Christmas Cookie Sundae in Tomorrowland and I HIGHLY recommend it. We both loved it! We rode jingle cruise with a fp for the first time and it was really funny. We left MK and had dinner at Cici’s lol. I am so glad we don’t live in Orlando. Traffic is always horrible there

Do they have tours every day? I might like to do that while we are still here.

As far as I know it is every day. When I visited the DVC lounge, the DVC guide there suggested I go take a look. I did it on my homeless day between BWV and VGF. I had to move the car anyway.
When you get to Saratoga, they are in the last building straight ahead and there are a couple of guides at a podium outside waiting for prospects. It was easy. In past years when there was something to see they would ask 'whose your guide, etc?' None of that this time. Just needed my phone number to check who I was.

I used to have a big gingerbread-house making event every December with my kids and their friends. The last one was when my oldest was a senior in high school and I only miss it a little bit--the gingerbread was never really good and it was a lot of work, but it was fun to see what the kids created. They did Hogwarts/Hogsmeade one year and that was probably the best.

But now I am thinking about gingersnap cookies and milk . . . neither of which I have in my house :(

Yes, I meant to mention the TPG (gasp!) review because it really was a pretty accurate and thorough/well done review. So thank you for mentioning. Marriott have been great about upgrading us throughout this trip (other locations in Australia) but I knew chances here were really low based on research and reviews. So as I said, I was glad just to not be on top of the pool ha ha. I really try to just be thankful for my “free” room, regardless of whatever view or location I get. But I know what you mean!
Which locations did you hit in Australia? We are headed there next Aug. The plan is to fly into Sydney spend the night, take a flight to Cairns and 3-4 days, see the Great Barrier Reef, fly to Brisbane and maybe go up to Coff’s Harbour for a night or two and then drive to the Gold for 2 nights spend a couple of nights driving to Sydney then stay in Sydney 4-5 nights at the Park Hyatt Sydney before heading back to the US.

Did anyone not notice the pictures in the wait times I showed early lol? I wasn’t surprised by the actual wait times. Go back and look at the ride and the matching picture
I’m wondering if there might have been some downtime on RnR today. That’s usually what causes one ride’s wait time to skyrocket as opposed to others. Especially if lots of people are trying to use their FP then. Disney will even (IMO) inflate the wait time in that situation to dissuade people from getting in the standby line so they can move as many FPers thru as possible. All theories though because I don’t know if rock n roller coaster was down at all today.

Did you make it to the beach at all on the ATV?

Yes, but not on the ATV. The tour took you to the ATV place - spent about 1.5hrs there. Then they took us to a small beach at a hotel not far from the port. Wasn't a great beach by caribbean standards, but nice enough for a relaxing dip.

If you google 'Jungle ATV adventure and Beach Escape Roatan' you should find a carnival cruise line link that will show the description of the tour we did.

ETA: Never mind - just saw the minimum age for that tour is 16 so isn't going to work for you.

FYI - If you’re at or over 5/24 and locked out of Chase cards, you may want to check your Chase personal and business accounts for “Just For You”/“Selected For You” green check mark offers or black star “For Business Owners” offers. The key to these targeted offers bypassing the 5/24 rule is a fixed % APR (vs. an APR range, which will not), so check the offer terms.

There are reports on r/churning that these targeted offers are back.

See DoC’s write up about this for more information.

Note that these green/black star offers with fixed APRs bypass only the 5/24 rule; other rules that may restrict bonuses based on how long ago you received your last bonus and the cards you have or have had still apply.

I don’t even care about the wait time lol. Look at the picture for SDD and RnRC

Oh I totally missed that! I was just skimming earlier and was quickly drawn to the 135. Sorry to make you explain your joke haha. I think many people here just skim though since there’s so much content posted daily so a lot might have missed that 🤣
