I started this journey a little over a year ago and now some of my cards are reaching the annual fee stage.
Specifically, P2 has a CSP where the AF just posted. This has been our holding ground for all of our UR.
I'm fairly certain that if I cancel it the fee will be erased. Obviously I don't want to lose all of the UR. We don't have the CSR to transfer to and, I'm in the midst of mid Oct SW CP plan.
Am I stuck with $95 AF?
Thank you

Do you or wife have any other UR cards? You can downgrade the CSP to a Freedom or Freedom Unlimited. That will hold your URs, but you will no longer be able to transfer to partners.

You can PC to a no-fee card Chase card (CF or CFU). I had my DH PC to one of those (honestly can't remember which), that way if you decide you want to PC to a CSR, it's there as an option without affecting your 5/24 status.

To find out if you are eligible, login to your Southwest account, go to "My Account" and click on "Promotions". I see the following promo:

Earn a 25% bonus - Register to earn up to 25,000 bonus points this year.
When you have at least 35,000 points post to your Rapid Rewards® account between 12/1/19 and 2/29/20 under the category of “Credit Card,” you’ll be eligible for a 25% bonus (up to 25,000 bonus points). For example, if you have 12,000 points from your Rapid Rewards Credit Card post to your account each month during December, January, and February, you’ll earn 9.000 bonus points from Southwest. Those 9,000 bonus points will count towards Companion Pass, too!

The "minimum amount" may vary. Mine says 35,000 but I know somebody else said there's was 25,000. If you're eligible, share what your "Terms and Conditions" were so we can compare! 35k points sounds like a lot BUT if I were to sign-up for the SW Performance Biz card now I would earn 75k points there between the bonus and base spend. That would then qualify me for a 25% bonus of 18,750 points! So that would mean almost 94k points from one sign-up. Aside from somebody earning a signup bonus during that time frame, I'm not sure there's any other realistic way to earn 35k SW points that makes sense unless you spammed facebook with your support link, lol!

At any rate - check to see if you're eligible and share details if you are!

mine says ...Earn a 25% bonus when 6,000 points post from my SW card from 12/1-2/29

Well, it's been a week.

My heat pump is finally fixed. Only had to scream at two people to get that done yesterday after they tried to cancel on me again. The guys were out there until 7 pm working on it but I had heat and AC last night and hopefully it's still working when I get home today.

My boss lost the election last night, so everything here is in turmoil. Hoping for a smooth transition, but we won't really know for sure what's going to happen until January.

I'm ready for a nap.

you can downgrade but your points would be worthless for cash value (the .0125 would be gone) but same for transfers you could go chase freedom or chase freedom unlimited.

I got the 25% bonus on my account up to 25,000 bonus points. Will be great with the new SW Performance Card I just got.

No offer on mine or my husbands account. We both have a personal and business card so 4 cards between us.

Are there any current no fee Visa/Mastercard giftcard deals going right now? I thought there was one for OM/OD a few weeks ago that went for a few weeks, but I can't find anything about it now. TIA!

DP out on the /churning Amex shutdown thread that the reason for the shutdown and denied appeal was due to the self referrals.

Did an official appeal and got a response from a rep I've been in touch with over the last 24 hours:
I received a response from our MR Team and the decision to keep the accounts closed will remain the same. An appeal will not granted. After review, the MR Team has confirmed that the bonuses were self referrals from June and July of 2019 and the program is not intended for that purpose. The cancellation is at American Expresses discretion as outlined in terms; in this case as related to the multiple events which resulted in the cancellation.

OK I have a problem with an order return from Target. I'm wondering what to do next- SO I got my Kitchenaid mixer (woohoo deal!) online order, and I mistakenly thought a part was missing. So I online chatted, and rep started the return process, and initiated a new mixer to be shipped to me. All of this took a while, and literally before I ended the chat, I had located the part (that wasn't really missing) and I told rep never mind, etc. She said it was all in motion now, but no worries, I could bring the unopened new item back to any target store.
In all of this I used my Target debit card. So I can see the original order pulled from my bank account. Today I tried to return item at the store,I had the new invoice slip that came with item. Manager said they had no idea what to do with this,or how to return it,since it only shows as one purchase on my account. (purchase date Oct. 29)
I'm thinking maybe try calling at some point when I have the time? Possiby trying to return to store again, and bring BOTH Invoices? In writing this out,I'm thinking maybe I should have just brought it to store with the original invoice and returned (?) but I don't need my money back..... do you see my conundrum here? any ideas?

I do have the CFU and she has the CF. So if I downgrade/PC (same thing?) then the do the UR stay with the card it downgraded to, or should I transfer them first before I downgrade/PC?
Can I downgrade/PC via SM?

This is DH’s offer on his account SW account

Register to earn up to 25,000 bonus points this year.
When you have at least 6,000 points posted to your Rapid Rewards® account between 12/1/19 and 2/29/20 under the category of “Credit Card,” you’ll be eligible for a 25% bonus (up to 25,000 bonus points).
For example, if you have 2,000 points from your Rapid Rewards Credit Card post to your account each month during December, January, and February, you’ll earn 1,500 bonus points from Southwest.
Those 1,500 bonus points will count towards Companion Pass, too!

ETA: My offer on my Plus is the same.

She already has a CF. Everytime I transfer UR to the CSP from the CF I seem to remember that the transfer is final and I can't take it back. Does that mean I couldn't transfer them to her existing CF?

You should be able to move them back and forth, maybe that is just the wording when you transfer... I know it tells me that for sure when I transfer between my personal and biz accts, or from DHs to mine, etc
