If, if, if. Ibn mein bobe... There have been gondola systems operating in hotter climates much, much longer than two weeks https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_gondola_lifts and I would expect, absolute worst case scenario, there's this option https://www.rt.com/news/414129-alps-skiers-helicopters-rescue/What if they couldn't get the line moving at all and this was the only way to evacuate??? What then? Personally, if this is a possibility, I don't think they should of ever built this mode of transportation.
And some have been so success in moving people around cities, some cities are considering expanding their systemsIf, if, if. Ibn mein bobe... It sounds like my worst nightmare.Soooo, what would happen if the stoppage and evacuation had to take place on a sunny/humid (always) middle of the day in June/July/August and it took 8 to 10 hours to get everyone out??? I don't think any normal person could handle being stuck in one of those things for that amount of time. What if they couldn't get the line moving at all and this was the only way to evacuate??? What then? Personally, if this is a possibility, I don't think they should of ever built this mode of transportation.
just so ythe aware, you need park tickets (possibly even hoppers) to do this. Monorail stop is at the front of Epcot, Skyliner at the back. Only way to connect other than going through Epcot would be bus from DHS to Epcot to monorail.By next month when we return we hope to be able to park at HwStudios and journey to Epcot and back. We might even take the monorail from Epcot to the Magic Kingdom

Are you implying helicopters can't operate in Florida heat? As I said, it's an option. Skiing weather temperatures, in the mountains, almost 200 feet in the air.
