We will only have eight full days so one island may be best? Thought about maybe a day trip or something elsewhere but I have to start working on that research.

You can do day trips on Oahu too. There's a lot more on that island to do than a lot of people realize, you can easily fill 8 days. There's a bunch of info on dischurners about stuff people have suggested that's a good place to start.

@Lain thats the trip I am planning! What room and view category do you have?
This was our room in Jan. 2019 - 1 bedroom OV Room #1106 (same floor Lain was on) but closer to the ocean from where he took the pic. Not the greatest quality pic. The slide centered in Lain's pic is in the lower left corner (to help tie in the location). The last time we went we had 906, so same exact location but down two floors.

Thank you this is gorgeous. Unless we stay a couple of nights somewhere else we will have to do a studio but your view is stunning

I'd probably pick one island if it was my trip, but I can understand choosing 2 also. I would look at all of them and see which one looks best. I agree with @afan that Oahu is definitely worth considering. I was just excited for you so I had to ask what you were planning. :)

Since we will be at Aulani, Oahu is where we will be 😀 i am guessing we will probably just stay on the one island the entire time

I bought a Princess (Disney) bicycle when the first was just under one. It's on the patio (they were just here for lunch with their Mom) and they get on the tricycles and don't bother with the bicycle. It came with training wheels, has a Cinderella coach for a basket, and all the cute stuff, streamers, bell, etc. They also have a motorized jeep and a coupe at home, plus more bikes and a set of tricycles. Too much stuff! We had lunch and tea on the patio today, even though it's a bit cool because they love running around my back yard. They filled the bird feeders twice, pulled along a little wagon, crawled around on the deck under my pagoda shelter - I keep it lowered when not using to protect it from wind, but they can stand up in it when it's down.

A swingset will be perfect for next summer, but we will need one for both houses. Younger daughter already has dibs on buying that. My neighbors have a trampoline (for kids) that they are welcome to use anytime.

Anyway, while writing this, the phone rang and the girls want 'anything Peppa Pig'. So, Amazon is filled with options at the moment so I'll order a couple of playsets and some figures, and then fill in from there. Costco also has the Wellie Wishers dolls - not sure I want to buy those but I know they will play with them.
My husband just ordered a she shed for our oldest two DGD like the one pictured below except it will be a soft yellow with white shutters/trim to match their house. It will have electricity, and an Amish heater. When you walk in, on the left and right are ladders to lofts on each side for twin beds. I'm pretty sure I will be staying in it when I visit :upsidedow Sorry it's sideways I tried to take a pic of the pic per @calypso726's tip but the glare from the light wasn't helping.

Random question out of curiosity: has anyone ever bought anything from the Magic Candle Company advertised on here? I see they have a Banshee scent and I love FOP so I wonder if it’s any good.
My youngest DD buys them, which is odd because she is not really a WDW fan so it's not like she's trying to recreate a moment. I'm not sure if that makes for a good or bad endorsement, lol.

1104 is a studio and actually one room closer to the ocean. Request 904, 1004, 1104, 1204, 1304 or 1404. You will have a good shot at getting one of those I would think or one a little further down the hall. I wouldn't request lower than 904 though. Good luck!

We are back from our trip to CROWDED Disneyland! It's good to be home.

While I personally know of 3 more times I'll be going before next summer (we often do just a day since we are so close), we are doing a "whole family" trip in June! Maybe we will see @CyndiLouWho and @Ngwira while we are there! Since we need two rooms (no way am I sharing one bathroom with my husband and 3 teenage boys), we are doing it relatively inexpensively at the Best Western Anaheim Inn. They have my favorite breakfast area of all the hotels along Harbor- it's upstairs and part of it is overlooking Harbor Blvd. It's nice to watch the world go by, as it were.

Is flying ever enjoyable? I don’t think I’ve ever gotten off a flight and thought”Gee that was fun” It’s just a way to get from point A to point B with varying levels of discomfort.

I'm gonna go with yes. Absolutely! Flights can be very enjoyable!

I think @calypso726 may have enjoyed some of her flights. Lol

Yup! But pictures are worth 1,000 words. Here are some of my fun flights with short descriptions:

Had fun on this flight to Singapore. The Krug champagne was amazing!

Had fun on this flight to China

SQ 2.jpeg

I liked being able to go from double bed to reclining chair and remote controlled swivel flat screen TV.

SQ 3.jpeg

While this flight to Dubai didn't have the double bed thing going on, it was blinged out to the nines and still offered a fully lie flat seat.

They made up for not having a double bed option by installing a freaking shower on the plane!

Which of course I had fun trying out and even brought a rubber ducky to the party.

After the nice shower, I had fun ordering a cocktail at the bar ON the plane. Who puts a shower and a bar on a plane? Emirates does. That flight was fun.

I was trying to describe to my husband about your airplane beds and adventures! Thanks for resposting so I could show him!

Which airlines were those first two on with the beds?

You're flights are insane...and I LOVE IT!!!!! LOL!

There is a Peppa Pig Live show, not sure if it is coming to someplace near you.
A quick look at the website and I don’t see any 2020 dates yet.
Awesome this would be perfect for my youngest DGD. Oh no, I just checked the link and it was in Detroit today :( shoot!!!!! She would have loved this.
Thank you all for your tolerance of all my griping and your input, we are booked to Hawaii for our 30th next year!!! I never thought I might even get to Hawaii, much less lie flat for free!! I just burned more miles/points than I think I have burned total in the last 5 years LOL. We are going direct, lie flat from MSP on Delta, and home on AA (thank you so much for helping me convince dh they are ok) lie flat red eye to Dallas then first class back to MSP in the early AM.
I can't even believe it!!! Now on to the rest of the planning.
Thank you all!
So happy for you! It's so nice when the universe goes along with your plans.
@Judique , I have taken DD3 to the Peppa Live show the last 2 years. She loves it and always asks about going again.
My DGD is 2 and I know she would love it too. There's a show Tuesday but it would be an hour and 45 min each way. She's a good traveler but that seems almost kind of mean. Plus I doubt my DD would want to go since shes's breast feeding and hasn't left the baby for more than a Dr's appt yet, and I don't love driving at night. I will register though, so hopefully next year :( . Would love to know if you have any other recommendations.

Which airlines were those first two on with the beds?

Both are Singapore Airlines. The first is Singapore Suites from the older classic plane. The second and third are on their newer planes.

I know! LOL Me too :-)
