Does anyone know where the Hitlon free night award will show up in the Honors account? I got an email that my award was coming (or would arrive shortly) and I'm not seeing anything. Not sure where I should look.

That’s awesome! Is it a 330 days out? I have 2 months more to wait.
If I counted right, today is 329 days for Sept 1. There are flights available on Air Canada through united.com at 336 days, for Sept 8. The Sept 8 flights showed up yesterday. Availability on points is limited to Tuesdays with a some Mondays and Wednesdays sprinkled in.

Of course, I've only been looking at PHL and EWR to SYD and vice versa. And the flights coming home are at 334 days right now (Sept 6) with the first available on points at 328 days (Aug 31).

Also, we are traveling in their spring, shortly before the spring school holidays. I'm sure availability and pricing varies from season to season.

I hope you don't have any problems at all booking :goodvibes

I just received a National Geographic jet vacations brochure and the vacations are dreamy. Has anyone figured out how to travel hack the $90,000 pp cost? Lol.
On a more realistic note, the itineraries are exquisite and can probably be semi-copied. My brother has been on a Nat Geo trip (not a jet vacation!) and the experts and enrichment opportunities are what sets them apart and I don’t think those are easily reproducible.

I got a second email 2 days later with the redemption
code and also showed up in a banner across the top of my account when I logged in.

I've also heard calling Hilton helps. I've read some places that it's on the account but not showing for some reason.

My entire family makes fun of me for taking airborne--they say there's no proof it has any effect. I say I don't care if it's scientifically sound; if the placebo effect keeps me from getting sick, I am 100% fine with that.
I’m the same with Emergen-C. When I get the first hint of a cold I guzzle it.
Dh takes airborne any time he feels a tickle in his throat. We buy the chewable tablets. I usually wait until I’m feeling a little more sick

Has anyone run into an issue booking Spirit flights via the UR portal? I’m seeing full availability for my dates on Google Flights and the Spirit website but they’re not showing on the UR portal.

I ended up calling Chase Travel and was told Spirit and other low cost airlines (he mentioned Frontier as an example) are not bookable. I asked when the change occurred and all he could say was that it’s been like that for awhile.

First Disney, now limiting the airlines we can book with. Chase is starting to loose value for me. Yes, free money is still free money but it really takes the wind out of your sails when they play games like this.

I’ll try calling again tomorrow in case the agent had bad information but I found a few articles indicating Spirit was pulled with the switch to Expedia.

I use it if I'm around sick people or when I travel. It either keeps me from getting sick or it's way less worse and over quicker than it would normally be. So it works as far as I'm concerned :)

Techy people, please help...

Any reason I shouldn't buy an apple watch 3 on walmart for $189 plus whatever other discounts I can scrounge up? I am starting back to work soon, and need a watch for counting respirations, etc, and thought an apple would be great. I am not one to need the latest tech, so if there isn't anything major I'd be missing out on, the 3 is fine.
I waited to upgrade for many years since the original was released. I only went with the 4 because my watch was extremely slow and started losing battery capacity by the time it was released.

The main differences between the 3 and 4 would be the 4's screen sizes and curvature. It has a sleeker design which is identical to the new 5. The 4 also has faster bluetooth with less power consumption and a new (at the time of release) heart sensor so you can perform an ECG. If those features aren't worth the price increase from 3 to 4 for you, I think you will be happy with a 3!

I don't know how I managed to avoid it on our trip. I was drinking from the same refillable water bottle as DH all week and my, DH, and BIL were all sharing some food and drinks. I also learned that WDW has very little to offer in the way of OTC medication for adults that isn't nighttime medication lol. I had to buy him a bottle of children's liquid mucinex. I did buy myself some airborne and start taking it.

I am germaphobic (as I have previously revealed) and the fear getting sick is real! It is honestly one of the things I hate most about going into work. People are so disgusting and don't cover coughs and sneezes or wash their hands. It really grosses me out. SO many people sitting around me have been sick. I took an Airborne as soon as I came home yesterday and today. Working from home will let me feel safe in my bubble for a bit. I never want to be sick, but it is worse when I have a WDW trip coming and that I planned 180+ days ago. All I want to do is have the lung capacity to walk 10+ miles and the ability to taste all the yummy snacks and meals I planned out. Inconsiderate people better not take that away from me! 🤣 I also take Airborne before flying during questionable cold months and take it to WDW in addition to Sudafed and Mucinex. I agree with @AmyAnne, if the placebo helps me, I will gladly drink that gross chalky stuff!

We've hit the season of really not touching doorknobs/handles at work and places and of being on airborne alert. That one is harder though because I turn the heat off at night in my room so I often wake up with a dry throat and/or stuffy. We have electric heat so each room is on its own and the fan in my heater is SO loud it'll wake me up. Plus it's too hot with it on.

Mine is nowhere to be found in my account. I recall getting an email that I was coming, then another email “Your Reward has Arrived” with a code and how to redeem it.

Yes!!! I even got my flu shot last week in preparation for my trip. I actually had a reaction to it for the first time. Thankfully that all went away within 24-hours.

I hate that dry/hot feeling!
