*** Official Microsoft Ignite 2019 ****

First time attendee to Ignite here.

I booked a room at Wyndham Lake Buena Vista through the Ignite registration site, planning on doing a few nights at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. Is there a way to get half day / evening tickets?

Also do shuttles run for the convention center all day?
Staying at Wyndham & 1st time at Ignite also.

This will be my 4th Ignite, also managed to get an Oga reservation for Friday. I've got an AP this trip so I'm going to try to sneak in as much WDW time as I can while I'm there.

This will be my first Ignite, so i'm new to the process. Does anyone know when the session sign up starts? I'm registered for the conference, and can see the session catalog... but don't see where to sign up for any of them.

Also, I'm staying off site at Pop Century. Any idea how difficult parking will be at the convention center?

Thanks!

Hoping to hear something soon. I've been keeping an eye on their Twitter and Facebook feeds and nothing has been mentioned.

I don't think parking would be too much of an issue there. I never heard any complaints last year anyhow.

Where do you look for companion passes? My first time there, didn't know they offered?! My spouse will be there with me if anyone has one they won't be using.
I'm staying at the Holiday Inn by Disney Springs (company didn't give the ok to go til reallllly late) Anyone know if there are any shuttles to the conference near there?

They were sold out quickly after being released. I don't even see the link now that the entire conference is sold out.

It's an option when you go through registration, but they sell out really fast. Many people buy them just to flip them. I think they were only 150 bucks last year but this year they were 250 bucks.

IMHO they're not worth it. For 250 dollars you can almost buy a pass for both of you and enjoy an entire day of the parks. You're only getting 4... 4 1/2 hours of park time. I enjoy the party, but honestly 25,000 IT guys, many of whom take "free drinks" as a personal challenge isn't the greatest time. Nothing like getting smashed and acting a fool while wearing a badge with your full name and the company you represent on it.

I accept your personal challenge......

This will be my first Ignite. Staying at the Hilton Lake Buena Vista. Ironically I stayed there several times as a kid while my Dad was at a conference. I have some great memories of Downtown Disney which is right across the street. I'm sure it's changed a lot since then. I decided to stay the weekend through the following Tuesday to take it all in.

It's called "Disney Springs" now so there's that... Lot's of good food, lots of good drink. How can you go wrong?

Anyone else out there having issues with MyIgnite?! It keeps flashing "access denied" at me and brings me back to the LinkedIn login... :( So frustrated..waited so very long for this schedule to be out and now I can't even get in there!!!

No problem, other than the overwhelming number of options.

What's the difference between an "add to schedule" and "RSVP" session?

I just found this on Twitter regarding the RVSP:
"2019 Unconference sessions are now available for RSVP. You'll find them with the code "UNC" in session builder "

Ah, so basically marketing presentations.

Universal shows an early close on Thursday. None of the WDW parks show an early close, so looks like Universal is back on the table boys.

Awesome for me. We have DVC and WDW APs so I hardly ever get to go to Universal. I really hope Hagrid's is running!!

So I can get in and add sessions to my calendar, but they say "this doesn't guarantee a seat in the session". Is everything pretty much first come first serve? Just trying to figure out the system as this will be my first time attending.

That is correct. There are some session types that you do actually rsvp for but most are first come first served.

Note about companion passes: if you go into your ignite registration and modify it, that’s where you can check to see if more companion passes opened up, and then just check the box and purchase. Just got one for the Mrs. last week that way.
