Sunday brunch at California Grill & cancellation policy

How difficult is a large party reservation for brunch at the California Grill at 180 days in advance? Probably planning for 6-8 people at the end of April 2020. And if someone drops out, will we be charged for a missing person? Thanks!!

The CG brunch is one of the toughest ADRs to get, as they only offer it one day a week. But if you’re on first thing at 180 days out, I think you would be successful. No, you would not be charged if one person doesn’t show.

You do not say how large your party is, but I would consider having someone in your party also create an MDE and log in to book. If you break your group up in two you may be more successful.

We have a reservation for 6 people for this Sunday, actually. I booked my 180 day on April 1 and Sunday was only day 2 of our trip, so I did not get it at first. However, thanks to reservation finders I was alerted a couple months later and got it. I recommend signing up for them.

How far into your trip is Sunday? You'll have better chances getting a reservation the later into your trip it is. On our last trip (only 4 guests) Sunday was 6 days in so it was easier to get.

As long as someone shows up you will not be charged for a missing person.
