LOL - I knew nothing about southern school until she wanted to go there. Not really sure why she picked it out either. The only 2 school we visited for her were University of Alabama and Ole Miss. Alabama was just bigger than she was wanting, and she just loved the feel in Oxford. This is her senior year and we've really enjoyed visiting her over the years. Honestly, I'm going to miss going down when she's gone. I tried the crawfish once when we were there and I didn't hate it (also didn't suck anything out ), but just way too much work for a tiny bite of something
Yes @brownhaired_girl I did this last week. They generally just extend a year from when you call. I called on 9/8, so my FN certs are good until 9/8/2020 (previous expirations were in May 2020, I plan on using them in June 2020)
Does anyone know if the "trick" to rescheduling ADR's to avoid the no-show fee still works? I'm very indecisive about our HS day next week. If the crowds stay somewhat light and we get there at 6 am, I think we'll be ready to leave before our 12:00 HBD ADR, so I also made a Homecomin ADR for lunch while we decide. Not sure if I need to make up my mind now or can wait until day of. TIA!
My best haul back in the day was 50 boxes of Finish dishwasher tabs. We only use(d) half a tab at a time, so that lasted for years. I would go into the laundry room where it was all stacked and stare at it allOk - now that we brought cereal into this...confession time... before we were churners we were “extreme couponers”.
We once bought 120 boxes of cereal at once and had them stacked in our basement storage room ordered by exp date. It was a sight to behold. My wife enjoys cereal and at that time in her life was eating it for breakfast, lunch, and her evening snack.
Agree. Smores is the way to go. Toast them up warm and gooey...voila! Dessert! But it you only had them once, maybe you just didn't have the right flavor for you
We are heading to Oxford this weekend to see our football team (Cal) play Ole Miss. Excited to check out Oxford and the tailgating scene at The Grove. This will be our first visit to an SEC school and first time in Mississippi.
Any toaster strudel people out there? I loved the apple one when I was little. So tiny though! I could have eaten the whole box in a sitting

I used to be an extreme couponer too. Had the shelves stacked in the garage and loaded with all sorts of things.
The dietitian in me cringes when I hear stuff like thatWait, what??? You eat Uncrustables??? My ds11 loved those until he was 9yo and then he quit eating them. I worry about you, girl.
Same. Only recent spend there is AAA membership. That's what I did - added it to my legacy Bonvoy to put spend on it!
Yep. YummmmTried the Noosa? OMGosh it is so good. Like dessert good. I have it instead of ice cream.
So you’re not locked out of a bonus if you’ve had one in the recent past? No xx months language? I upgrade to Brilliant, got the bonus, used the credit, AF posted in April, downgraded to basic Bonvoy. I did get the 50k FN cert and $412 AF refund. No upgrade offer yet.Small note to anyone who has a Bonvoy Brilliant:
Posting here and not reddit (don’t need it to get too big).
Consider asking for a retention offer when your AF comes up. Take the offer if they give one and hit the requirements. Additionally, get the Cat 6 cert, use the $300 credit (gift card if nothing else), call to downgrade to the $95 regular after you’ve received everything- id wait over one month so you don’t receive the full refund.
At that point you’ll should get a partial refund of the $450 AF. Around $400. Then, wait for an upgrade offer to occur, which should happen soon. Currrently it’s an all time high of 125k pts.
You can do the same thing I and a few others currently do with the Aspire. Which is, upgrade, get pts, wait a month, downgrade. You should be able to do this 2-4 times a year.
Like the Aspire, try to time your last upgrade just before your AF date so you can get the Cat 6 cert and $300 credit.

Interesting because I needed them for June and they extended past that (and it was the same last year). From what I can tell, they cancelled the old ones, and issued new ones that expire in a year. They didn’t just adjust an expiration date.FYI - I had my FN certs extended about a week ago. I called and told them I was wanting to use them in July and they expired a few months earlier than that. Mine only got extended until Aug 9th (I think). If you don't have a date in mind to use them you might want to not mention a specific date to get the longest extension.
Woah - speak for yourself. I absolutely consider myself to be a superhero! Yes - it is I - PointsMan!!It's a wrap, not a cape. We're not superheros!
