I'm so pumped, weve been lacking a card that always earns at a good rate at the grocery store

I spend all of my D&B tickets on stuffed animals for my dogs...
Ha, my house is overflowing with stuffed animals from DH and DS’s claw machine and amusement park game obsession! Too bad, you are too far for me to drop some off.

Marriott Peak and Off Peak Pricing - DOLPHIN points through end of year:
So Using the Marriott Flexible Date calendar I did a search for 1 night and here are the points costs at the Dolphin through the end of the year.

The surprise here: There are a TON of nights considered off-peak in here - including a bunch of nights the week before Christmas. Now, since this is just a ONE night search, different factors could be at play I guess if you search for longer stays and such.

EDIT: If I change the search to 5 nights, there are much less check-in dates available, BUT I see 5 nights for as low as 70k points (which would include the 5th night free benefit). 170k for 5 nights = avg 34k Marriott points per night!

I'll do a similar look at Swan here shortly.

You can easily replicate this for yourself by doing a Marriott FLEXIBLE date search. When you go to select your dates just switch over to "Flexible Dates" and you'll get a calendar view like this.

I do see less "off-peak" days as you move into Winter and Spring 2020. But if you look out in May-Aug of 2020 there are again a bunch of OFF peak days.

Enjoyed the first A Star is Born from 37 and just started the 54 version with Judy Garland. It's already so different I'm not happy. I'm not planning to watch the two newer versions. It was good as a regular movie, not a musical and I don't care no one will do it better than Judy :) Watched Easter Parade two weeks ago though so I probably should have spaced these out better.

Also, the new Adams Family cartoon movie looks good.
OMG, I absolutely 💕 the Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper version but it was the only one I have seen.

And they are all alive...right? Nobody is eating other people? :lmao:

They appear to be alive... those are not blood spots pictured below on the floor, just rose petals.

Crash it for cake?

Gonna be honest... not sure the people hosting their wedding reception at the quality inn next door to the truck stop are my kind of people...

Not really a fan of hers and the previews didn't interest me.

True but you could probably leave your horse show clothes on instead of something wedding appropriate and no one would probably bat an eye. :rotfl2:

Gotta have the perfect back story...

How about - we're friends of Aunt Ethel and we're credit churners from a Disney message board. Seems perfectly reasonable!

Marriott peak and off peak pricing is in effect.

I checked a few of my reservations against the new points pricing, and our stay at the Royal Hawaiian over Christmas week would have jumped from 60k to 70k/night for the whole trip. Glad to have the lower standard points price locked in. My split stay reservation at the Courtyard across from Disneyland dropped by 10k, as dates earlier in Thanksgiving week are now marked as off peak. Rebooked it and got 10k back, then we're off to the Disneyland Hotel!

We checked this morning and it was the same as when we booked a few days ago, but tonight it's showing up as 20K more points (5k per night). So glad we booked when we did. I was stressing because our dates didn't show up until about a week ago.

You made me look and I fell in love with this!

I was going to mention that I wore a long, cozy sweater on this last flight and used it as a blanket when I was lying down, but I didn't think it was what you were looking for. This one looks so, so pretty!

It looks like if you do the 5 nights with the one free night, you get the cheapest one free. So 12/23-28 is 210k with 12/23 (40k) being free.[/QUOTE]

Can you only do flexible dates at certain hotels? Sometimes I see it and other times I look for it like crazy then wonder if I imagined it before.

What did we do before packing cubes?! :P:P:P
I used gallon zip lock bags to pack my daughters stuff and would label for each day to make her daily dressing easy. For hubby and I when the roll vacuum seal bags came around I would use those for our bulky items to help compress.
I’m an ENFP so I just basically throw everything in, squish it down, and pray it zips.

That reminds me of wedding crashes. Dad was the captain for the boat they were filming. They had a mess everywhere

Hmm it’s not available on the app, but I always see it on the website. Sometimes if I’ve been checking specific dates it will prefill the dates but if you click on the date box, it will open a calendar and at the top has “specific dates” or “flexible dates.”
