We were finally able to make a reservation for Minnie's breakfast at the Plaza for our Disneyland trip. I'm excited that we got the date and time that we were hoping for. Planning for Disneyland is so confusing since not everything is able to be booked at 60 days out! Still checking every day for a Fantasmic/Blue Bayou package and the World of Color Dessert party.

We're going with some friends of ours and yesterday my friend told us that they won't be doing the WOC Dessert party. She said that since she has already spent $5000 on just flights and hotel, she can't justify it. I feel a little guilty that we've gotten our flights, hotel and park tickets 100% covered by points.

I apologize as I think I've asked before, but how quickly is precheck available after the interview? Does it take a few days for approval?

Plaza Inn Breakfast was one of the best parts of our DLR trip a few years ago. We had booked one and loved it so much we booked a 2nd while on our trip. So many characters and My family likes breakfast food- we ate late and then skipped lunch. Enjoy!

I know the scheduling is so different. We are considering going back to DLR instead of WDW since it would be so much easier to plan!

Has anyone else noticed that Chase has changed the site on sending secure messages? I would like to move some credit lines around and it is not clear best way to do that now. Any ideas? I really don’t want to call. :)

I think I went with Account Inquiry the other week when I lowered my CL. Apparently, even though you select the account number upfront the rep must not be getting that information since I tried to lower the CL on my biz cards but the response I received back was on my personal account. So make sure to include the last 4 digits on the account in the SM and be very specific on which card.

I have a weirdly specific question. I was looking at the Shake Shack Amex gold credit, and it said that it was inapplicable for Shake Shack locations in airports. Does anyone know if locations in tran stations count? Apparently there is a Shake Shack in Union Station in DC. @striker1064 - am I remembering you correctly as a DC guy who uses Amtrak? Any experience with this. I've got $10 potentially at stake, so clearly its an important question 😋.
Yes. The credit works at this Shake Shack. It just about covers a mushroom burger and a bottle of water. lol.

Can't answer the amex question but I've eaten at that shake shack. It was busy but most of the places in US are. It's kind of a big food hall and there are shops then the train station. So a lit of people that work in the area eat there. I see it more mall like than train station but that's just me. Beautiful building.
This is correct. I've eaten at a couple of places there but not at that Shake Shack. Metro comes in there so it's a pretty popular area being a local historical landmark. Plus it's a hop and skip over to the Capitol, Library of Congress, the Mall, etc. I'd be willing to bet it would credit, but if I were going Downtown, I wouldn't be looking for a Shake Shack, even with a credit. Since I have the same credit every month, I understand the motivation to utilize it though.
Yeah I know others have chimed in already, but I have no experience with that particular Shake Shack. In fact, about the only place I get food from in Union Station is Einstein Bros, both because their bagels are good and it's right next to the gates. Otherwise, I'm a roll-in-20-minutes-before-departure kind of guy and try to minimize my time in and around Union Station.
Where else on the internet could I post a question this randomly specific and get, if not exactly the info I was looking for, at least helpful commentary on my question? I'm with you guys that I would not be seeking out a Shake Shack in most circumstances, but I've got a work trip that likely has me passing through Union Station at about 8:30 at night (flying in to BWI, maybe taking the train to Union Station, then ubering or metroing to my hotel). At that hour of night on a travel day I will be looking for something not too gross that I can grab quick. If it means I can use my credit, so much the better!

I'll be staying at the JW Marriott, and am already trying to narrow down where I want to get dinner the other nights. Some nights I will have work dinner things (likely at whatever steakhouse is nearby - why do they always choose steak places?), but I may be able to pick at least one of the restaurants. I have fond memories of the Bombay Club from when I was a kid, but there are truly just way too many options in DC when you only have a couple of nights. And I'm wasting one of those nights on Shake Shack? Hmm. May need to rethink.

ETA - Credit @punkin for the win! Thanks!!!! Chances are still good that my $10 will get used - even dealing with takeout from a "real" restaurant will likely be beyond me after a full day of work and a flight.

And now in the category of Southwest Airlines questions - if I wanted to change an itinerary that included a companion pass, and I were to ask Southwest to cancel the companion (freeing up the reservation to be changed online), how long would it take between when the rep on the phone cancelled the companion pass and when I'd be able to change my itinerary online?

This! I sent a SM 2 days ago and saw they had replied and I just assumed it was taken care of. Oops After reading this logged on to see that they didn't know what card I was talking about. So just resent with last 4 digits of card.

Instantly. I did this recently online myself.

My daughter took care of it for me. She dl'ed from Ublock Origin and it seems to be working so far. You can turn it on and off by clicking on the little shield symbol in the top right corner of the window.
It's 4am and I just came up on this post with the noxious warning and immediately thought it had started again! Then I focused and read your post and realized you had found UBlock!
Glad I found the same one you are liking! I even enabled it on my work laptop. So sorry to startle you like that with the screenshot 🤣

DH Bonvoy Biz AF just posted for $95. I know there was some confusion if the old cards would still be renewing at this rate. I really thought he would be hit with the higher rate this time.
