Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Dining - Oga’s + All Quick Service Food and Drinks

Alcohol is so subjective. I found the Coruscant really poor. Worse than anything I had at Oga's, including the Tauntaun tounge tingler thing. Which was good but odd. I'll never order the Cooler again but we'd reorder everything we had at Oga's if mood strikes.

Maybe they did not make as good but you are right, very subjective but that cooler was da BOMB and so good we had it twice during our GE stay and was so good and refreshing, Oga's menu seemed like a cruise ship mixed drink experiment gone bad............

Are there are CAN'T MISS snacks or foods in SWGE? I'm going on a quick 2-day trip in a few weeks. My DHS morning is actually part of a 3-park day that is going to be filled with a ridiculous amount of food already. I have a reservation at Oga's, and I'm planning to get a drink there just to check it out. Otherwise, I'm thinking I'll skip getting any food in SWGE unless there's something that is really outstanding. Thoughts??

My vote Ronto Roaster wrap.......and yea with the Coruscant Cooler......I tried both the breakfast and lunch wrap both were good!

Mine is the Felucian Garden Spread at DB7 and the Jedi Mine Trick at Oga's (or beer, if you prefer that beverage. All 4 were good, depending on your particular preferences)

Ive heard some people say it tastes like an old-fashioned but very artifical. Im a Makers Mark Ambassador for Life, so I feel obligated🤣🤣🤣

Yes.

Ronto Wrap (not the breakfast one, the regular one)

Shaak Roast

Two best foods in SWGE, and arguably, in the entire park (definitely the case at Studios, IMO currently the case at Disneyland.)

It’s more than likely ‘no’ because a Ronto Wrap + a drink with alcohol = an almost $30 QS breakfast!
You're probably right, but I'm hopeful it'll just be an excellent DDP QS value like the BoG breakfast, which is more like $40 with an alcoholic beverage included!

My family will be visiting SWGE next week with "free" DDP credits to burn, so I'll be sure to check things out and report back if no one else posts more details before that.

On the Disney website if you go to DB7 or Ronto Roasters it shows that it is accepted with the DDP for 2020. No confirmation on 2019.

Please let me know! Because I am there the week after you and would love to use a quick service meal credit in DB7.

How strict are they at enforcing the 45 minute time limit at Oga’s? I fully anticipate we will each order two drinks and want to munch on the secret menu item.

They are pretty strict about it. They will not very subtly start rushing you out as you approach your time. If you still have drinks and are well beyond 45 min, they will present you with a plastic cupto take the rest to go. There is a constant line of people waiting to get in and they need to abide by the limit to get everyone in. The only time they are lax about this is late at night, after they cut off the line outside.

We've been all but escorted out after 45 min. Not really but it's very, very clear your time is up and it's time for you to go

Has anyone brought a toddler or infant into here yet? What's it like? Thanks.
I did Oga's with a toddler at DL (but the layout is primarily the same). Make sure to request a seated table, some areas are standing at bar height tables and that doesn't work with tiny people. They do not have any type of high chair, so be prepared to hold the baby.

I just finished listening to WDW Prep School podcast and she says it is not really kid friendly. As long as you know that going in. I'm thinking about canceling mine and I have a 9 year old.

I agree that Oga's is really not a kid-friendly place - they're allowed and not discouraged from entering, but younger kids probably won't enjoy it much. Tweens and teens will be fine. GE's other dining options are all as kid-friendly as any other QS places in WDW, though.

Yep I think we can do it when she's 11 (on our next trip after this one). I do want to check out the QS places.

I sure don’t call it not kid friendly. Maybe not little toddler friendly but we had kids aged 7 and up with us at both tables we sat at. They all enjoyed it a lot. I don't understand why that podcast would make such a blanket statement.

A 9 yo should love it, if they care any about SW

DGD is 11 now but I'd not have hesitated to take her at 9.

That’s good to hear, but I know my kid and I trust Shannon’s reviews. She gave me something to think about.
