Looking for Ways to make extra cash

If you live in a city where there are focus groups, you should look them up. You likely can only qualify only once a month or so. But some of the surveys pay 100 - 200 bucks. Check Craigslist / jobs / misc to see if you can find any.

Survey sites are getting to be a joke. I used to make maybe $200 a year and now I'm lucky to make $50 so if you need real money, you'd be better off with a part time or temp job.
Imake about a $1-2 a day doing surveys.. then 6.00 on the monthy bonus for doing check list everyday........ most of my money on swagbucks is from offers i have made $1000 in 4 months if bought disney giftcards at discount with the visa gift cards all and i am at 1150 so all my disney tickets

With the average wedding in the US costing $30,000 that would
take you about 80 years to pay for the wedding.
Lol , right but i made 1000 in 4 months doing offers you can take a honeymoon for that... or at least part of one depending where you go.

I'm always a proponent of eBay. Find things around your house that you no longer use and look them up (on completed listings) to see what they sell for. If you are happy with that amount, list the item as a fixed price, 30 day listing. You get 50 no insertion fee items per month so you are not paying anything unless it sells.

How much time are you investing on them? And what does it work out to as an hourly rate?

I used to do a decent amount of mturk tasks but after calculating the returns... I was making less than minimum wage. Throttled back on it hard after that.

I do mine when im doing other things, like watching tv with the family ( house of boys so normally something i dont like ) waiting in the car for one of the kids. It really doesnt take much time like the offer i did yesterday sign up for fender guitar lessons trial it pays 10.00 took me 2 mins and will take me another 2 mins to cancel when my phone calander reminder goes off in a week and a half. I did a 20 min survey for 1.00 waiting for my sons class to be over. Im really excited i paid for our disney tickets with this money... i spent very little i used my first swagbucks visa card to do more offers.

Look at your local school systems. In addition substitute teaching there are several non teaching positions such as office, food service and the after school programs (here they run from end of the school day to 6pm). The hours can be full or part time. You get the holidays breaks same as students. You don’t have to live in the same county. Beware of retail as most of them have very very strict policies about your availability of around the holidays.

I just took a job with Amazon and I am regretting it but I keep thinking of vacations so I will keep going for a bit. My daughters friends mother works for Laundry Ladies she said some days she makes up to 300.00 I am thinking of doing that

Can you tell us more about Laundry Ladies?

My sisters, teacher friends, and I all use Rover.com to make extra spending money. Rover is like care.com, but for pets. We all have full time jobs so we don’t Rover full time and we still make a couple hundred dollars each per month. Last month one sister made $700 bc she watched two dogs at her house for 10 days. My fellow teacher friends and I do it a lot more in the summer, but even during the school year do it on the weekends.

What about one of the store delivery services? A friend does deliveries for Target and she can choose her own hours and does well - she said people tip great on top of her pay. Another suggestion is Kohls hires a lot of seasonal work for the holidays.

The average US wedding costs $30K? OMG. $30K for one day? That could be a downpayment on a house instead.

And that's the US average! In New York weddings overage $60,000. No wonder young people never get out of debt!

Is this job for you or your daughter? Who is paying for the wedding?

If you do not already have a job i would say a part time job at a store you like. And you can make $$ on surveys. So far this year i have made about $700 and that is just on one site, swagbucks. I also use mypoints and made about $400 on that one so far this year. In total between survey sites and cashback for shopping i have made about $1500 in 8 months and i have not used them as much this year. I use it all to cover vacation expenses.

A friend of my just signed for 8 weeks as a census taker to make a little extra cash.

I tutor kids. I charge $20-$50/hr depending on the client, content, and other factors.
