Disney Skyliner (Gondola Transportation System) Read Post 1 Now Open!

Have they stated this? Registered hotel guests should be the only ones to use them besides possibly someone with a reservation at a restaurant or the skyliner becomes a ride, which it is not. I thought it was a perk of staying with the hotel you chose.
I'm AP and I'm staying in a disney hotel. Twice this year. But regardless, they are a mode of transportation, like busses and boats, for anyone who needs to get from one point to another. If someone wants to go from Epcot to HS, they can certainly use disney transportation to do so.

Disney's never really restricted or gatekept Disney Transportation based on where you're staying, and this is just another form, like boats or monorails. Resort hopping is pretty open, with pools being the only thing they keep a tighter control on.

There's no need for them to restrict Skyliner to people staying at nearby resorts, and we have no cause to believe they will.

Just Took this ar CBR skyliner may be done but station still needs work.
Edited to add
Sorry for rotated picture. First time I uploaded photo from phone

Are there any modes of transportation that are restricted to people just staying at those hotels? No.
It's no different than buses, boats, or the monorail. Yes, it's a perk of staying at those hotels, but it's also used for dining and/or park hopping, which anybody can use. Many people treat the monorail as a "ride", not sure how this is any different. Seems pretty common sense to me that anybody will be able to, and should be able to use the Skyliner.

I am not sure where to put this question but since it is speculation I am going to add it here.

What would be faster to go from Boardwalk to HS? Gondola or boat? Assuming you have to wait for a boat and we don't want to walk.
From some parts of Boardwalk resort the walk to the skyliner station at epcot isn't going to be much shorter then the walk to dhs
Boat to dhs will reduce walking to the minimum and should be faster

People joy riding will be in the middle of the day when these things are completely empty. They will also bring people to the resorts to spend money and advertise for the resort.

Yeah, I know quite a few people that are excited about being able to use these midday to get to better (or at least) different food options. Could increase traffic to Sebastien's
