Oh boy. Our flight that was supposed to be 8:49pm-11:32pm is now delayed to 10:08pm-12:51am. And our preview is at 9am! I looked at the next earlier flight and it's delayed to leave at 7:49pm now, but my husband works til 5pm, won't get home til 5:45/6pm and EWR is 30 minutes away with no traffic. And there will be traffic.

He gave me a hard no on trying to make that switch. If this were a planned trip, he'd ask to leave early. But he's already gotta call out sick tomorrow. Let's hope we can catch a nap on the plane. We're going to be zombies tomorrow! Let's cross our fingers we're not further delayed.

I guess he's gonna start feeling "sick" late afternoon :D

I would go ahead and get to airport as early as possible and see if you could catch that earlier flight (which might be delayed even more). And I wouldn't count on your flight being late. Once I was notified of delay, so I took it easy stopped for a drink, moseyed to gate, and was the last one on just before closing doors. They were able to leave earlier than their delayed time!

Bless your kind heart. The world needs more of you. Poor DW got whacked in the head a few times by a toddler trying to pop bubbles in Disney Junior Dance Party while the kid’s parents were laughing and taking pictures/video of the whole thing with their phone. Not a sign of awareness or apology.

Wait ... just how short is your wife :D

My layover in ohare is now 20 minutes. Yippee! We all are wearing Nike running shoes:)
Gates close on many airlines 15-20 mins before departure and they don’t re-open. Unless the flight you’re catching is delayed you have very little chance of making it. Have you talked to an airline agent about it?
 
Most of us do not have pre-check on our boarding passes for tomorrow (only the soldier does). I think someone said there was a way to get that added? Was that DMing TSA or Southwest on Twitter?

Do you all have preTSA or global entry ?
If so I would call the airline...

Yes, I know:( and I have to go from terminal 2 to 1. I’ve done everything I can. No overhead luggage that will be gate checked, bought economy plus in rows 1 and 3. But if the connecting flight is on time and we don’t make up time in the air we’re not going to make it. I think thinking through this all week is making it slightly less stressful now:)
 
On my last day, while I was not in the line, the Buzz FP line was wrapped around a few times in a queue back toward the queue area for the Laugh Floor! That was crazy!
This was our buzz fp line too. Again, inside attraction. At first we were avoiding those kinds of fp lines and hoping they’d drop back to normal but we realized this was the normal for whatever reason so we just had to get in those lines. The star tours fp line took about 35 mins. Just crazy.
 
Thanks, that's what I'm definitely going to do. I thought it should be the renewal rate but the prices I was getting online made me doubt myself.

You must call to get the renewal rate - I'm almost positive that no matter what or which way you are going, you cannot get the renewal price online if you are changing the type of pass. It only works if you're renewing to the same pass.

I'm at 41 cards currently open right now and my wife is at 36.

77 total between the two of us. That's after closing 28 this year alone. :faint:


Nope. 2/90 for Credit Cards. No velocity for Charge Cards.

For super advanced churners: You can get the same charge card once every 90 days unless NLL, which bypasses the 90 day velocity. I've tried 60 days and it works but too scared to go quicker. And at roughly $30k/MSR I have to hit per month, I have about all I can chew currently.

I can still count all my cards on my fingers :sad1:
 
Hot hot hot!!!! It's 90 here and it 'feels like' 97. Despite the heat my grass is still growing and its green thanks to the rain, which means I should have gone out to cut it.

Instead, I'm just chilling and reading disboards and texting. Could be much worse.

I took Latin. 5 years. I do have a superlative vocabulary.
No, unfortunately it is very archaic. I had to mail a form with checking info and attach a voided check. That is the only option, which is ridiculous.
We have a car loan through credit union. Check only (I mean I guess actual cash would work too) and I can send it snail mail. I choose to use the drive through and drop it off as then I will know when it will post.
It really was not a bad trip (is there such a thing at WDW??) but some trips are better than others and I guess this one just isn't a fav. It won't keep us from going back!!!
We had a very bad, no good trip but it was due to my family not Disney.
Was it a metabank? Just wondering since I had to change the pin on mine due to damaged mail but haven’t used it yet. I hate when converting to Serve doesn’t work and people are waiting behind us, my daughter is rolling her eyes, and the manager has to be called.
I try to get in line when there is no one. The other day, I let another guy go in front of me. Good thing as the cashier had no clue. I even told her “I think you have to scan a yellow thing first” :rolleyes1 She called over another employee who also had no idea and went to ask the manager.:oops: I almost bailed but while waiting, employee 1 found the yellow card to scan and was able to process it by the time employee 2 returned (with verbal instructions from the manager who was obviously too busy to come to the register-good to know)
 
Anyone hitting the Unify bonus who did it last year use a different email address. A veteran commenter on DoC discovered they didn’t get their tickets because after closing their Unify account they were put on the bank’s marketing opt-out list. It took them a bit to track this down but Unify did get them their tickets. So use a new email address to be on the safe side.
 
For the BOA checking offer, I have moved $4k into my account, how long does it take the bonus to post? I think after it posts I can close the account since it doesn’t have the 6 mos constraint?
