***March 2020***

I just booked 8 nights at Caribbean Beach Resort for our Spring Break March 6-14. Will be our first time ever at CBR after staying (and really enjoying) Port Orleans Riverside this past summer. Excited about the CBR refurbishments being completed and really happy that Skyliner will be up and running when we arrive.

This will be our 2nd visit to WDW after hitting up DL 2 straight years in 2015-2016 when kids were younger. We are a family of four with a 12 year old daughter and 9 year old son. We had an epic WDW visit summer of 2018 (couple of quick ride highlights were riding FOP twice with FPs and riding SDD with a FP during its first 2 weeks of being open) and I am of course hoping we can top it next year.

To say I’m obsessed with advance planning Disney vacations is an understatement! Cannot wait to surprise the kids with this trip. Thanks for starting this thread.

We'll be at CBR March 8-13! Also obsessively planning.

I'm a Disney convert after my skepticism gave way to joy when we brought my then-3-year-old two years ago. This time it will be myself and husband, my soon to be six-year-old daughter, and twin two- year-olds. Both sets of grandparents have decided to come along for the ride, and I'm so hoping we all have a good time and that I try not to compare it too much to that first magical trip!

I am so used to going in mid April, and now nervous that March will be worse crowd wise?? Our dates are March 22-28. It's not our local spring break week so was hoping that flights from our home airport would not be as expensive. But reading and now hearing that March crowds with other spring breakers have been insane. Keep these dates or move them ? We are booked now at OKW, and have been traveling to Disney in April or May since 1997. This will be our first trip as empty nesters and want nice weather. We should be fine and maybe I am just second guessing.......

We (Dh, Dd6, Dd4 and myself) will be there from Feb 27 - March 8 for our first stay as DVC owners, and our first stay at our home resort of Polynesian! We are going with my parents, sisters, and their partners and children. There will be 13 of us in total. Big Disney family trips are the norm for us so the planning doesn't stress me out too much anymore.

We usually stay at Caribbean Beach or Beach Club - we love both. I am hoping we love the Polynesian just as much.

We are planning on going end of Mach (28th) - April 4th. I check every day to see if I can book our package. Our first time going during Spring break, we have only been in June. So hope the crowds aren’t super crowded, and hope the weather is better than June.
Crowds are extremely bad during Spring Break. I was there this past Spring Break and it was hard to get same day fast passes once we used our three. I would recommend buying early morning magic or after hours if you can during spring break.

We are planning a trip for our 25th Anniversary the week of March 4th. It’s not been booked just yet, but we are planning a stay at Pop. We are bringing our kids 13 and 17 along with us. We are super excited! We haven’t been to Disney World in 4 years and we need this trip after the past 4 yrs. I know a lot has changed with fast passes, the parks and dining since we’ve gone and I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed by all of it😳, but still super excited!

We're booked at Boardwalk Villas 3/13-21. Its me, DH, DD18, DD25 & her DH, and the reason for the trip...our granddaughter's first trip. She's not even born yet and we've got a trip planned for her. She's due in August and will be going to Disney in March. It's our first grandbaby and we are so excited!

Got our airfare booked for March! Paid 505 for 2 of us BDL to MCO march 22-march28th. First trip as emptynesters! Booked OKW with our DVC and may swap resorts at 7 month mark. Last April we stayed at CCV and loved it, year before we were at BRV. Been a few years since we were in the EP resort area so maybe thinking BCV if its open!

Hey everyone. We are looking at going March 14th -21st. It's going to be a celebration trip my nephew's 16th birthday & my 40th birthday and the boys want to hit up all new things star wars. It will be me, my cousin E, Her sister L (and also my cousin :rotfl2:) & brother in law M & their 2 kids who will be 16 & 11 at the time of this trip. As of right now we are looking at staying at all star movies. It's one of favorites because it was the first resort we all stayed at on our first trip together. It will also be the first time for L and her family at Flower & Garden so we are excited to show them that we normally take our trips the week after Thanksgiving but the kids have 2 days off of school in march so they won't have to miss but 3 days of school and it's closer to the big birthdays this way.
I'm turning 40 on March 15th! But we're going a week earlier to hopefully get slightly smaller crowds and earlier evening shows before daylight savings (my kids will be 3 and 5, so we're earlybirds).

Hello! We will be there March 22-28, so we might see many of you there! (It’s Spring Break for most schools here in the Chicago suburbs). We just bought DVC, so this will be our welcome home trip! We are excited to be traveling with my sister, brother in law, and mother, and DD, 9, and DS, 6.

Hi we are going 3/15-3/20. We are staying a art of animation for the first time. It will be me, hubby, 19 year old daughter and 17 year old son. This will be hubbies first time, worried he won’t “understand Disney attitude”. The kids and I have been 9 or 10 times. Once we get on the plane we are in our happy place. We let our inner child take over. We had the “talk” with him about no complaining, no attitude, etc. hoping he will not get huffy, be a grouch. We alll agreed the kids could go off on their own, as long as everyone knows where everyone is at it’s all good. This might sound bad, but I am concerned about him ruining our trip.any words of advise about taking a 1st timer and not a Disney fan?

Hi I’m in the same boat. Haven’t been in 5 years and trying to get all the info I can so everything is done on the right dates etc.

Hi! I love AoA! You will have a great time! That resort is pretty in-your-face, themed Disney, though! Why do you think your husband would be cranky? The weather? The crowds? The “kiddie” Disney atmosphere? Is he a control freak? A generally negative person? It’s hard to give advice without knowing him.

In general, I think it’s important to take a break to go back to the resort and relax with a drink by the pool and then return to the park for dinner and fireworks. Doing parks from rope drop to close can be VERY overwhelming and exhausting, especially for first timers. If you don’t want to do that, maybe you can send him back and stay in the park!

Good luck!

We are booked from March 8 - March 16 at POFQ. It is our kids' spring break (we are in Minnesota) and it will be our family's first trip to WDW. We'll be surprising the kids (DD12, DD9 and DS5) with the trip as a Christmas present. My MiL is joining us on the trip, and my parents will be coming down to join in on the fun for the last half of the trip. I'm having so much fun (and stress!!) planning the trip and I can't wait to experience the Magic first hand!!

We plan on going 18th-26th, split stay Swan and hopefully DVC rental. Starting trip in Ft Myers from 14th-17th to visit snowbird parents.

@michelepa , Thank you for starting this thread. My mom and I will be traveling to DW for the 2020 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival to celebrate her 75th bday. Dates and lodging are still to be determined. I'm going to Disneyland next week so I want to fully enjoy this upcoming trip before I start planning my next one.

Perhaps my family, albeit a smaller group of 4, will bump into you guys as we are also going to be at the Poly that time (2/29-3/8) utilizing rented DVC points. Less than 200 days out now...thinking about ADRs as the window is approaching. Have yet to purchase park tickets... looking for a deal as it gets closer to Fast Pass time in December.

Desperately looking forward to Spiky Pineapples from Trader Sam's and Thai coconut meatballs from Captain Cooks!

I'm surprised at how quiet this thread is! I know that March is still seven months away but I would have expected more chatter.

Yeah, I feel like my end of March trip is still far away. Also, I feel like I can’t do a lot of planning right now because so much will be changing. SWGE isn’t open yet. What will the crowds be like by March? Will either of those rides have Fast Passes? Will they offer EEMH through the spring? When does the Tron Coaster open? What about the Space Restaurant? It’s supposed to be open, but it seems behind. I’m interested in Topolinos Terrace, but we want to see what people think first. There’s a lot happening at WDW between now and March!

Seriously some unknowns...that Mickey and minnie ride in Hollywood studios could be open by then? Touringplans is predicting 7s and 8s all week across WDW with some 5 days in epcot and animal kingdom during my stay the first week. Who knows? I guess the availability of ADRs will predict.
