I'm getting very confused with my HS Day/SWGE plan and how to make the best of it. I will be making my FPs Tuesday through DSS for CLFPs and maybe they will give some more insight. As of now, we have all our rides planned for the morning hours (going on an EMH day so we can sign up for Jedi Training and rope drop ToT - then FP RnR, SDD and TSMM (the three CL FPs). By 12, we should be done and hopefully that's the slot we can get Jedi Training for - maybe grab some lunch somewhere too. Then we have a 2:00 Oga's and a 3:10 Droid. We can spend the time in SWGE exploring. Hopefully have time to take a break back at the hotel and then end the evening at MK utilizing our remaining 3 FPs from the program. This is the Sunday before Veteran's Day so HOPING for extended MK evening hours.

My issue is riding Smuggler's Run. I have no idea if we will be able to unless they extend the EEMH. I refuse to RD it and we really don't want to wait longer than an hour.

That's why I'm putting SWGE at the "end" of our FPs at HS so if we do choose to wait in whatever line, we won't be running into any issues.

Good point. We would probably have time between Oga's and the JBJB dessert party if we feel like waiting.

Our itinerary. Hoping it's warm enough to swim a time or two also. We always say we wish we'd done more resort time so I'm really trying not to over schedule us.

Saturday - travel day - lunch @ Roaring Fork, get DAS Pass, dinner @ 1900 Park Fare

Sunday - breakfast @ Boma 9:30, Tour decorations @ monorail resorts and Beach Club, MVMCP (enter @ 2:00)

Monday - HS - Droid @ 10:35, Savi's @ 12:05, lunch @ Woody’s Lunchbox, dinner @ Ohana, back to HS for Fantasmic

Tuesday - MK - lunch @ Liberty Tree

Wednesday - AK - lunch @ Flame Tree BBQ, Caring for Giants - Elephants 3:00

Thursday (Thanksgiving) - EPCOT - breakfast @ Garden Grill, dinner @ WCC

Friday - EPCOT (FoH begins) - Cookie Scavenger Hunt, lunch @ Via Napoli 11:30, shopping in DS, dinner @ Story Book Dining

Saturday - MK - early lunch at BOG before catching ME to airport

Here's our current plan. This is with no EMM and no DAH. If any of those are announced, it will have to change!

Sat- arrive late
Sun- AK (short visit- 3-4 hours, FPs will be here- probably Everest, KS & Navi), pool break, MVMCP
Mon- sleep in, Epcot (FP- TT, MS green), brief visit to WS
Tues- Kennedy Space Centre!!!
Wed- AK (will probably go in the morning, then back for pool time in the afternoon, then back to AK in the evening) (FP- Everest, KS and something else...)
Thurs- MK (will RD and stay as long as we want, this is a party night) (FP- SDMT, BTMR and probably Space)
Fri- HS (oh boy...will RD for TSL. Outta here by the afternoon for more pool time) (FP- SDD, and 2 shows that we will probably just tap into!)
Sat- home

The only dining we'll do is the new space restaurant, if it opens by then! We aren't big eaters so it will be mostly the CL food, quick service for some lunches and then daily dole whip and mickey ice cream sandwiches!

We usually open and close all of the parks and only have one day to really relax. We want this trip to be more slow paced, so I’m hoping it is warm enough for the pool (if it’s anything like last November it definitely will be) and we’ll take time to explore some other resorts!

Welp! My plans have already changed.

We decided to skip Epcot, so I canceled the Frozen dessert party on 11/25. I was never 100% sold on it. We will plan for HS that day instead. It was a unanimous decision for my family.

we will be there nov 4th-10th... missed the chance to get a fireworks cruise, anyone book one and have room for extras (3)?

Just booked a Mom/Son trip for Nov 13-17. Staying at POP. When my DD was younger I did a trip with just her, so now it was time for DS! He'll be almost 8 when we go. I'm having the hardest time deciding which days to go where! I want to try and schedule some ADRs. Hoping hours will come out soon for those dates. Anyone have cool ideas for a boy? I'm wondering if he would like a dessert party...

Hello November peeps! DH & I are going 18th-24th. One of our daughters (of five) is resort bombing us midway through for a solo trip for herself. I did get us MVMCP tix for just her and me the Thursday before Thanksgiving week.

I’m thinking of adding Tony’s Merriest to it as an added treat for her. Opinions?? 🎄

I think your age is perfect for your son. I took mine when he was 12 and, well, it honestly wasn’t as fun as I’d hoped because he was a little too “mature” (you know, mature in a scoffing 12 yo kind of way) to really enjoy letting loose and having a blast. What is your son into? Does anyone know when the Space restaurant will be open?? That might be a special ADR, if it is.

I am doing 2 mom/DS7 trips soon. Aug 18-21 for SWGE AP previews, and then Nov 17-23. :)
We usually go with most of the fam, so these 2 trips will be our first completely alone. Very excited!

Just worked on a back up plan incase I back out of IOA/Uni.
Not loving the odds for Hagrid's. :(
I don't think I'd have a happy son if I made him stand in line for 2 hours.
Sooo, unless something changes, we'll do all Disney and hopefully add DAH at AK for the Monday.

Wish we'd get definate hours, JBJB dessert party and possible DAH announced so I can complete my plans before my CL FPs...

Definitely going to keep an eye on the opening for the space restaurant. He likes Star Wars so keeping an eye on that too to see how we can make that part of the trip. So challenging when hours aren't out yet

We're also doing a mom/son trip! Also hoping to do the space restaurant.

My boys loved Sci-Fi at that age - they thought sitting in the cars was so cool, and got a kick out of the old movies. They also really enjoyed breakfast at Tusker House, and still do even as teenagers. Splitsville is also a winner, and you can go bowling for something different. In Epcot, the shop in Japan is great for boys. Mine liked the weird gaming stuff and all of the funky candy choices.
