Those using swagbucks ???

Question about coupons. I thought I read a way to get the credit without actually printing them. Is there?

Anyone tried the DogTV offer? 300sb for 14 day trial. I got an email from MyPoints and they have it for 600 which is a little better than SB so I thought I'd try it. It showed as pending right away on MP, the site is awful though. I cannot find where the account info is, had to go through the confirmation email to a separate site that has the subscription info. Looks like I will cancel through that site - looks easy enough, we'll see ;) I am using my PP account and disabled the autopay feature for it.

I did it on mypoints and it went pending right away. Will cancel soon.

I'm totally FREAKING OUT right now....

I just logged in to my SB account and I was ready to cash out $100 to my PayPal account. I checked my shop activity (no problem), looked at the survey options for today (there's a decent amount available) and looked over a few other things on the site...no big deal. Then, I went to redeem for the $100 PayPal. I went to confirm my address and it took me to a page that said, "Oops, something went wrong" and said we can't complete your order at this time, or something to that effect. Now...I CAN'T EVEN LOG IN! It says there is a problem with my log in and I have to contact customer support. Oh, believe me, I did...but what on earth is going on? I have been a member for years, I haven't done any offers that I had to cancel (Hulu, BarkBox, etc), and I've only had a few tickets that I've filled out and all of them were 100% substantiated and most were for less than $10. I really hope this gets fixed because I had about 140,000 SB sitting in my account. I know, I shouldn't have waited...I was waiting to cash out for the $100 in PayPal and then I have 2 more months of discounted $25 gift cards that I was saving for so my account was going to go to ZERO by October 1. I had a shop credit for 4200 SB hit just a few days ago so that was what I was waiting for. Otherwise, I would have cashed out for the $50 PayPal, but I knew that $100 was within reach.

Ugh....I'm just kicking myself right now....I really hope this gets fixed...I'm freaking out....

I just tried to log in on my phone, and it says "Deactivated Member":sad::sad:
What is going on???

I think there is really something wrong with our computer/wi-fi/network...
I just don't know what to do anymore. I have contacted Comcast (our network provider) and they said everything is secure. Our modem/router settings have the firewall set at the highest security level. I purchased Norton VPN and we are running it on ALL of our devices (laptops, desktop, iPads and phones) and we also have the Norton Security software running scans every day, multiple times per day. I imagine it is the VPN that is messing up the Swagbucks because it is probably "pinging" me in a location via my VPN even though my static location is at my registered zip code. I have tried quite a few surveys over the past few days but I was disqualified from most of them. I had no problems redeeming for the $25 VV on the first of the month and I had the VPN running at that time so I think whatever the issue is has to do with the $100 PayPal redemption attempt.

Ugh...I really hope they take care of this...but I know it is going to take forever. Man, that is $150 that I needed for our October vacation too...now, I don't think I am going to get it in time.

Even though you cashed out with a VPN running once, that is what your problem is. It is against the ToS with Swagbucks to use a VPN. All I can say is good luck getting your account back. The outcome from people using VPNs with SB haven't been good.

Ugh! I had NO idea! That sucks! I wish I would have known. VPN’s are promoted as a way to keep your information secure so I wouldn’t have thought that it would interfere with a legitimate website. I sent a mea culpa letter and threw myself at their mercy, promising never to access the site using the VPN if they would find it in their heart to reinstate me... but I’m not holding my breath.

I did read the ToS when I signed up YEARS ago but it never occurred to me that the VPN was a violation. Thank you for pointing that out because I want to be as transparent as possible with them.

I actually did not know this either. I’ve been using a VPN for about a week and have just made a mental note to shut it when on swagbucks.

I do have to say though, the irony in this is that one of my banner offers today is to purchase NordVPN for 65% cash back. So they want us to buy it but not use it with them 🙄

Wishing you the best of luck getting reactivated!!! 🤞🤞

What is VPN? I have Norton but not sure if it is a VPN.

Norton is antivirus. VPN is virtual private network, where your activity looks like it's coming from elsewhere to keep it from being traced back to you. it can be used for good or for bad, which is why SB doesn't allow it. It lets people from other countries look like they're in the US for US-only deals, among other things.

Yep. Using a VPN can work wonders for some stuff. I use one to login to Netflix from different counties because the on demand is different. Use it during the Olympics from the UK to watch stuff live and not on delay like what it does in the states.

Thanks. I don't have that.

A VPN was the only way we could watch Eurovision this year!

ACCOUNT REINSTATED!!:yay:

Phew! They accepted my apology and reactivated my account. I was able to cash out my $100 to PayPal without a problem. In the future, I am going to bypass my home wi-fi (which SHOULD be secure, but may have too strong of a firewall, and also has the VPN running) and tether my laptop to my phone and access Swagbucks via my LTE. I’m not super tech-savvy, but I *think* that should provide the correct combination of security without violating any rules of their website. I have 50GB of data available every month and I don’t run videos or nCraves. If I want to run videos, I can do them directly on my phone which has unlimited data.

Well count me as surprised: They gave you your account back, but that you got a response back from them so quickly! In my experience Swagbucks customer service hasn't been the greatest.

Anyone else doing the Remesh panel tonight? It's my first one. Anyone want to tell me what to expect?
