Here's the trip that never was... https://www.disboards.com/threads/t...d-and-wishes-on-wheels-oh-my-1st-ptr.3407712/ Bits and pieces of it will be resurrected as I'm hoping to try again for my 45th birthday July of 2020!

The PTR I started two or three? days ago... https://www.disboards.com/threads/on-the-road-to-see-the-world-wdw-mini-trip-august-2019.3764362/ When we actually had reservations at FW Campsites AND tickets with park hoppers!

Hi there! I'm Rebecca and this my husband Pete on our 20th Wedding Anniversary this past May! My family and I are headed back to Walt Disney World!!! We've lived in a RV on the road for one year now, and we're finally going back to Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and of course the Magic Kingdom! 😍

Our 1st trip as a family taking Ms. C (then 10) and The Rascal (age 5 at the time) to Walt Disney World was in December of 2011. It was our first vacation since our son was a newborn. It was also my very 1st trip to WDW with my own wheelchair, I was so shy about being in it that I hid it in most photos. It did help that I was usually the one behind the camera!

Tomorrow we arrive at Fort Wilderness with LucyBlue our big truck pulling Tali our travel trailer home! We honestly have very little idea of what to expect at the campsites, we're just thrilled to be going!

The next day Aug. 13th we'll head to Hollywood Studios, Morimoto Asia for early dinner, then over to EPCOT for extra magic hours!

Aug. 14th we're starting the day at Animal Kingdom, then over to The Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen for a late dinner, and the rest of the evening in Magic Kingdom for night time extra magic hours!!! I'm so excited I can hardly think!

Aug. 15 is our last day at the Parks, we have park hopper passes as well, but are undecided on where to go! 😂 We do have reservations at Sanaa for a late dinner! ❤

Aug. 16th we'll either go back to Disney Springs or spend the day in the pools at Fort Wilderness. ☺ This will also be pack up day and getting our rig ready. When we leave the Disney Bubble on the 17th we're headed up to Atlanta, Georgia to see friends and continue this adventure!

They were such itty-bitties! Celeste was 10 and the Rascal was 5 years old. ❤ Celeste has a bunch of memories of our time at Disney World but my son has very few. Eager to make some new ones with both teens who are now 18 and 13! 😳

What are your favorite parks, rides, and FOODS in any of the four Parks? :D Is it crazy to go in with only a few fast passes? o_O What would you do with an extra day at Disney?

I took this photo at the beloved pub near our old home just before we moved into our travel trailer. Pete's a comic book artist, lover of beer, Star Wars, a good gin and tonic, and he shares a birthday with Disneyland! Well... not the same year. He's driven Tali our Travel Trailer around the edges of the United States for one year on the 1st of August! It's not easy and we appreciate the daylights out of him!

Favorite Park: EPCOT
Favorite Ride(s): Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean
Favorite Restaurant at WDW: Sanaa

Now, as its been ages since we've back we'll see if any of those favorites have changed in just a couple of days!. :D

This Celeste of mine is 18 now, and in a month we take her all the way back across the country so she can begin her new young adult life! I'm going to miss her with my whole heart, but I treasure the gift of this last year traveling with her! ❤️

She was 10 years old when last at WDW. At the time she enjoyed meeting Alice in EPCOT, Soarin', Expedition Everest, and all of the World Showcase!
Favorite Park: EPCOT
Favorite Ride(s): She does not recall.
Favorite Restaurant(s) at WDW: Teppan Edo, Tokyo Dining, and Sanaa

This young man is Logan, referred to here as the Rascal. He's 13 and is almost never without a sketchbook in hand! He was a wee lil' fellow of 5 the first and last time we visited WDW!
Favorite Park: He's not sure, but is excited to see all of them!
Favorite Ride(s): At the time he loved Splash Mountain! he does not remember much about the rides nor parks now.
Favorite Restaurant at WDW: Then it was Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining

Can't wait to make some new memories at Walt Disney World with him! ❤

My 44th birthday at Clearwater Beach in Florida. I had been sick for the past two months, so being well enough to go out and celebrate with my family was about the best birthday present ever! We took it slow and rested a lot. We do Disney like that too. I transfer out of my wheelchair to others chairs when I can as my limbs dislocate easily and often. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (a connective tissue disorder), complications from childhood and teen surgeries, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and I pass out sometimes. I'm a mess, but they keep me anyway. 🥰
Favorite Park: EPCOT & Animal Kingdom!
Favorite Ride(s): Star Wars!!! Soarin', Splash Mountain, & Pirates of the Caribbean
Favorite Restaurant at WDW: Sanaa and Teppan Edo

Half of us are vegetarians and half are opportunistic meat eaters. 😂 So, trying to find places to suit the herbivores and carnivores has been a bit of a challenge.

What are your favorite restaurants at the parks, Disney Springs, or Boardwalk? Which would you skip? Which are never misses for you? 😊

Coolest family EVER!!! Can't wait to follow along!!!

If you're asking for food recommendations: I have a feeling you guys would enjoy Satu'li Canteen in Pandora! They have a few awesome and unique options for both your vegetarian party members and your opportunistic meat eater party members. My absolute favorite restaurant on Disney property right now is Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' at Disney Springs. I'm a meat eater, so of course I was in fried chicken nirvana when I went, but there's a really promising vegan review of the restaurant here for you!

They were so small! The Rascal was not at all sure about climbing in for this photo but as his big sister wasn't worried he decided to join her! 🦈

@Newsies You're the best!!! Also...Oh my goodness thank you for the kind words and the recommendation!

I'm going to sheepishly admit I did not even look at Chef Art Smith's Homecomin', even though I think he's got a terrific personality and is a fun chef to watch! I figured it was primarily a meat lover's haven! Oopsidoodle! That's a fab review!

The Satu'li Canteen in Pandora at AK sounds scrumptious! I can't wait, and am adding that to the ever growing notes!!!

Haircuts are done! One short, one faux hawk, and then I decided to snip 4 inches off mine and layer it in the front! Busy day, still cats to comfort, clean up to do, and securing the rig for travel, but we're only a couple of hours away from Disney World!

Well that was a silly title, couldn’t think of another one though. Besides I have Little Mermaid 🧜🏻‍♀️ or Nightmare Before Christmas songs stuck in my head most of the time! 💀🎃👻

Favorite park by far is AK, and hmmm foods? Hard to say, there are so many! 8 Spoons Mac and Cheese at AK, Festival Kiosks at EPCOT, Frozen Bananas at MK...

No, not crazy. You can have a great trip doing other stuff besides rides. ;) Self made scavenger hunts, Sorcerers of the Kingdom, character meets...

Extra day? DTD, resort tour, pool day with lunch at the pool, monorail crawl (if with kids, an ice cream at each stop)...

Oooh I had no idea there was Mac and cheese at AK! There’s so much we haven’t seen there! All of Avatar will be brand spankin’ new and a bunch of dining options have changed too. I had no idea what to get fast passes for so kind of picked randomly. 😳 Also, only a few days out the selections were a touch limited. 🤣 May I ask what Sorcerers of the Kingdom is?

Yep, it's a small kiosk called 8 Spoons across from the Flame Tree. It's only open around 11 AM and closes after a few hours, so kinda hard to time right.

You will LOVE Pandora!! I love the new place to eat there called Satuli. Last time I was there I got the Kids Bowl of grilled chicken over a bed of greens. It's just the right size so you can have snacks in the day too. ;) You will LOVE FOP but I enjoy Navi River Journey too; they've done a nice job wth a new dark ride.

It's a game using cards and "magic portals" in the Magic Kingdom. My son spends hours playing it. Fun for the nerds in every family. LOL!

How neat! I’ll show my teens too! ❤️

What with a tremendous thunderstorm, frightened cat, and bouncy oh boy we’re going to Disney energy I did not sleep. This will be an interesting day. 😅😳
