Now I'm getting nervous about the crowds..

I have touring plans and can paste the crowd calendar for August, but not sure its allowed as Ive never seen anyone else do it. I dont want to be kicked off this site... or TPs !! Does anyone know the rules?

I have packed pretty much everything

You packed your own bag??

My mother ALWAYS packed my fathers bag and somehow I got roped into packing for my hubby and sons. Didnt ever occur to me that men can pack

Maybe because Im old fashioned Italian...or just old (or just stupid )

I understand. Its much more than just the calendar though, I dont see harm in sharing a bit of info, but I understand that they might. Thx.

Just got an Email cancelling my FP for Primeval Whirl on the 18th

Even sadder is they are replacing it with an EE FP, 3 hours later than the PW I had (we wont be at the park then, having supper at Epcot) and EE is the one and only ride my family will not get on! No big deal, but I will miss PW

2 more hours of work and I'm on vacation! It's been a bit of a nightmare shift too, as we have about a quarter of the staff that we should and with my job, the work has to be done no matter how many people there, so less people means much, much more work and stress! The nice thing is, this will make going on vacation that much better!

Boarding passes are printed (A-31 and A-32), carry on bag ready, purse swapped to my Disney cross-body, suitcase weighed, pullover that packs into it's own pocket pouch is in carry on (to have to use on the plane because I am cold natured), and money/gift cards split between hubby and I so one person doesn't have it all just in case.

Other than putting on ME tags, condensing GCs and packing hubby's C-Pap, what last minute thing am I forgetting? I'm sure I'm forgetting something but anything I forget at home I can just buy there. I'm just worried we wont have room for souvenirs Of course I don't plan to buy much but my son did request a new goofy hat and DD requested a mickey shaped rice krispy treat.

Have a magical anniversary ! There's always room to squeeze in those extra souveniers!

The only time my husband packed his own bag was when he was in the military. Vacation packing is my domain, and is in my best interest because I can use available space in hubby's luggage for my overflow.

So now Im obsessed with looking at the crowd calendar hoping it wont change again. Although I cant share the whole thing, I will say people at the resorts and parks on 08/27 might hear an echo

Second, you can get the gift cards at a discount, so you get a bit more bang for your buck.

This gets even more crazy awesome if you have a rewards credit card. I usually get $100 gift cards from BJs at 5% off. Discover It is a revolving 5% category type of cash back card. This quarter, the 5% categories were Restaurants and PayPal transactions. BJs takes PayPal as payment. As soon as my vacation club paid out from the credit union, I stocked up. Granted they only give you 5% up to a certain cap, but I still made out like a bandit.

I figure I saved at least $200 on my room reservation doing this. More if you count what I got for my AP upgrade. I’m just sad I can’t stack it with Ebates anymore since they changed to Rakuten.

This is why I have zero faith in crowd calendars. When easywdw stopped doing them I stopped looking at them.

Same here. I used to glance at Josh's but I've been enough to know basically when to go where

I'm so glad you said this. I ordered a few skorts for the trip. They were supposed to get delivered today but it looks like it got moved back to Monday. I'm anxious to try them on.

No pants for me either, I can't bear to put them on in NY right now let alone Florida lol! But skorts have been my Disney go-to for awhile now; so comfy and I Like them much better than shorts.

We put our magic bands on after we go through security at the airport. lol Then we take airport selfies with our band

I put mine on before I leave the house for the airport

Moved around FP's just now and got better ones and also made some more dining- Citricos, Tiffins, meeting friends at Jock Lindsay's followed by Morimoto and pretty sure we'll get back to Tutto Gusto this trip. 16 days!

My husband is constantly constantly sending me forecasts and we don't leave until the 24th. I tell hime that exact thing!

Well, I guess I can't speak for any other men, but yes mam, this man certainly is capable of packing his own bag, and does every time we go anywhere. If something I need is going to be left behind, it will be my fault, not anyone else's. Not only do I pack my bag, but I am involved in keeping track of what my wife packs, and I packed my son's bag as well.

You can change that EE fp to something else, you don't have to keep it just because they gave it to you.

Exactly! Keeping this attitude is why my wife and I always have fantastic trips to WDW, no matter what happens!
