Checked in to 2 different resorts on the same night?

Hi there,
Is it possible for a family of 5 to be checked in to 2 different resorts on the same night? Like if we were staying at Cabana Bay but also had a room at RP for the EPs? Does Loews care about this? We would have an adult in each room but we would want to make sure the whole party got EPs for those RP nights. Hopefully my question makes sense. Thanks. Edited to add this would not be a "throw away" room since we will have family members in both rooms. TIA.

I think I follow you....

You have two rooms booked

Loews does not care if you have two rooms booked for the same dates.
Many peeps book two rooms and have connecting rooms in the hotel as they have more than 5 in their party.

The peeps staying at RP will all get the hotel card which allows them to have unlimited ep for the park lines.
All in the RP room will receive the hotel card with their names on it.

The peeps in the Cbay hotel, will not have the free unlimited ep

Thanks for the response. We have 2 adults, 3 kids, so were hoping that we would get our usual 5 EPs for the RP, even if 2 in the group decide to stay over in the CBBR room. Basically the backstory is that we got a very cheap CBBR room for a few days, but my husband wanted to give RP a try, and because the CBBR room was so cheap, it would be nice to just keep it for an overlap night and use it to change if we are going to VB. Then an adult and a kid might want to use spend the night over there since might as well spread out. Does this make sense? Would we still get the 5 EPs even if a couple of us decide to head over to the "extra" CBBR room for the night? We can fit in one RP room without a rollaway (my kids share a bed), but are we required to all physically sleep there to get the EP? Also, it would be nice to leave the car in the cheaper garage for that extra night as well.

For the nights you have the RP room and the day you check out of it, your hotel room key will be valid for all the express lines in the park.
You are good with that, no worries.

If this is a worry for you, have your husband be listed as person responsible for the hotel charges for one hotel and the other in your name.

The only time children are counted as an adult is when they are 18.
Surcharge at RP is $35 plus tax per night if there are more than two adults registered for the room.

Heck if it were me, my husband would be at CBay to sleep each night while I stayed at RP....and he could keep all the kids.

Yep,the hotel does not care if you occupy the room overnight or not, they will still charge you a night's stay. We've done that several times, booked one room for the whole time, and another, same one night somewhere else. We never had an issue with the whole time hotel saying, hey, you are staying somewhere else on one of the same nights. Both don't care. Both hotel's get their one night's fee.

Have fun, a nice way for all to have 2 days of unlimited express. And the kids will also like CB, I am sure. And with a family, spreading out is a good thing. LOL

Hmmmmm....my boy is 16...looks like he is 19...how do they know kids ages?

Especially redheads. Thanks.
lol my 16yo looks 13 and she has auburn hair and freckles. There is a lot of truth in what you say! I will say, they have never asked me the ages of my kids and I am usually alone when I check everyone in. I could call them all over if needed but it is much easier to send them to a sofa somewhere far in the lobby to wait with their dad.
