Stalking Fatigue- anyone else?

I bet we are stalking some of the same BCV dates! I saw quite a few days open up yesterday too, but of course not the last day that I needed!

Yes, you are correct. Once matched, a CM has to physically finalize.


I would stalk as much as you can and put on your phone so you can do it when you are in line, waiting somewhere, etc. November 1 is a while away so you have hope. I'm still hopeful as it comes closer to my 31 day mark but not quite as optimistic as I once was for my one night stay that I have been unhealthy stalking since April but I'm keeping the faith! LOL

Is that only WL does anybody know why tht would be ???

No, there is not a phone app.
I went on my phone and pulled up the website from Safari and saved it to my home screen so that is how I check when I am not at home or at work. It's awful LOL

So enjoying this thread. I was stalking for Dec 14-16 weekend. After days of stalking I was able to grab BLT Dec 15 studio standard view. So I began stalking for Dec 14 knowing that getting that date in standard was going to be hard. I would have a better chance at the LOTTO. So this morning was stalking and grabbed DEC 14 studio but lake view. So after thinking about it I switched my standard waitlist to lake view waitlist and now I go back to stalking to see if I don’t have to switch rooms.
Last year for the same weekend we did one night in Poly, one night lake view and one night theme park. It was tiring switching but I was grateful to even have gotten rooms. Thank you for the thread.

Welcome to the group, where as JS said, you like the members, but hate being a part of the stalking club! Some people don't mind switching rooms/split stays but we prefer, especially with kids, to try to stay put in one place. So the stalking continues for 2 more days... Good luck!

I made a mistake modifying a reservation yesterday and lost the last 2 nights of my Oct vacation. Have a waitlist set-up for those 2 nights. Stalking since yesterday morning. Just scored the last night of my 6 night stay. Now missing 1 night that squeezes in between the first 4 and the last one. Hoping either the waitlist or my stalking works out!

After about 10 hours of stalking today and having only gotten one of my days filled by stalking a little pixie dust came my way and my missing night was filled through my WL. So a very long day but the Disney Magic was with me after I messed up! That will learn me! LOL! Wishing everyone the same success!

Same! I am stalking the week before Christmas, and have had to fight the urge to change our dates so many times when I saw good things pop up! Here's hoping the two days I need will come up soon, otherwise I may end up adding another week!

Hubby really wants to be at the BWV - BCV - so yesterday i canceled the Rivera and cleared enough points so if a studio was available
I would have enough points
So I had 199 points and needed 132 ....so finally all the days I was so happy I thought I scored but when it came to the point to choose the contract
it wanted to borrow from my 2021 points ,no way around it -opened up another browser to check and my 2020 points where there
and they were but by that time it was to late .......

UPDATE ... talked to a supervisor today and she said I should have just borrowed the 2021 use year points and then called and they would have fixed it -
so I thought that would be good info to share in case anybody else came across this situation -

Well. Stalking won. I had a wailtlist for one night in January for the Poly. Got it last night. Now I don’t have to move after 1 night. Yeah.

I'm not certain, but I've heard from others that the WL stays on your dashboard until a CM finalizes the WL match.

Thanks for the heads up. So, if I don't get an email and the WL is still showing on the dashboard, calling in periodically might be the only way to know for sure if it matched? Before all of the online changes, the WL would just disappear which indicated a match had likely happened and MS could confirm. Perhaps this has changed then?

I ended up booking a 1 bedroom and wait listing the others and while i was calling this morning to complain I was sitting
at my computer BCV had my days
but by the time I cancelled the 1 br to free my points it was gone and my wait list didn't grab it either
I edited my post above after the call -she told me when it did not let me use my 2020 points I should have borrowed the 2021
points and then had them fix it - Didn't realize they would do that I thought they would turn into 2020 points and screw my account for next year -
Live and learn ----- Now I fear my stalking Fatigue has turned into a crazy time consuming obsession !
