Disney's POP CENTURY RESORT Information & Questions

The Disney provided crib fit perfectly between the fridge and dresser. We had connecting rooms and I don’t think it would have fit in the other rooms.
Was it a full sized crib or a pack n play? I’m not aware that Pop has full sized cribs that Disney provides.

Post 2 of this thread ( https://www.disboards.com/threads/pop-century-room-renovations.3573071/ ) has great videos showing the new rooms. I cannot picture where a full sized crib would fit except possibly if the Murphy bed was not used?

I'm in POP room right now. There's no way a crib would fit between the fridge and dresser. A packnplay would only fit the if the long side was sticking out into the room. And even then maybe not if the 2nd bed is down. It looks like it would fit in front of the fridge.

I see nowhere a full size crib would fit with the 2nd bed down. With it up, a crib could fit in front of the table.

A packnplay would fit on the other side of the dresser but would impede the bathroom door slightly. You could still get in and out of the bathroom.

The cribs Disney provides are not a full size crib like what you would have at home but more like a travel crib. You can also rent them from Kingdom Strollers. You can request them through Disney but I have heard that you may not always receive one since they don't have a lot of them.

Thanks so much to both of you. The OP specifically asked,
Does anyone know if a full sized crib on wheels will fit in a refurbished pop century room with both beds in use? Thanks
so we can answer with confidence that the answer is no, it will NOT fit.

Hope this helps @annadreamsofdisneyworld.

Yes that’s what we had.

And going back to my first comment this was in AS Movies in a refurbished room (so same basic layout and size) and it worked in one room but the room connected to it seemed to have a slightly different configuration (space between fridge and dresser) and I’m not sure it would have fit there. I don’t seem to have any pics on my phone. My wife might in hers. I’ll check later.

See the photo.

A travel crib is very different than a full sized crib (as I assume everyone knows).

If someone has specific measurements of something I'd be happy to measure to see if it fits if you post in the next day or two. I'm checking out Wednesday morning.
I'm in a room with 2 queens and no connecting door.

Would anyone that is currently at Pop be willing to take and post a pic of the 'Make your own yogurt parfait station' on the food court?
Im not sure its there anymore. In May, the only yogurt parfait I saw was a pre packaged one in the Grab n Go section (either blueberry or strawberry).

I asked about the same thing last May and they no longer had the make your own yogurt parfait station on the food court.

In the Fridge, they had premade yogurt parfait that was nothing like the old yogurt parfait station. And the regular store type of yogurt is really expensive.
I wish they would bring it back.

I believe I read on another thread, some people charge their magic band (credit card) for meals. But then go to the resort front desk and pay the charges off with gift cards. It obviously would take more time and might not be worth the hassle. But it's an idea on how to use mobile ordering AND gift cards...at least until they possibly add GCs as an payment option.
We stayed in June and charged things using our magic band. We paid off the balance in the lobby with gift cards when we passed through. Mobile ordering does not work this way though. It automatically gets charged to your card when you place the order.

We are returning to POP in a couple of weeks for a 10 night stay. We have never opted out of housekeeping, but I'm thinking of doing it this trip. With a 10 night stay do we just ask for a new set of sheets half way through and towels when needed?
We stayed a week and my wife vowed to never opt out of mousekeeping again. She did not think it was worth the $60. The floors got dirty and what not

A full size crib would not fit, unless the murphy bed was up. We just stayed there in June and Pop provided us with a pack-n-play. It fit well under the window, but moved it when the little one started pulling on the curtains. It also fit between the fridge and dresser and it did not stick out into the room, as others suggested.

Hey y'all, is there a post for best room requests? Last time we went three years ago we had top floor, lake view, 6000's building and it was great - close enough to everything, but with the top floor and lake view, still quiet. This trip we'll be there during Hippy Dippy pool renovations, so I'm thinking another top floor, lake view if possible, but perhaps something closer to the pools. We got preferred rooms. My gut says bldgs 2, 3 or 4k would make sense, but would love input from all of you experts. Thank you in advance!

We never opt out. I’m on vacation. I like to have my bed made and my room cleaned up and I show my appreciation by tipping $5 a day for the 2 of us and we actually keep a pretty neat room to begin with.

Building 2 isn’t preferred. 1,3,4,5,6 and 10 have preferred rooms. There is no pool by 6 and 10 though. So since Hippy Dippy will be closed, you’re looking at 1 or 3 to be nearest both the Main building and the bowling pin pool. Building 3 for a lake view.

My sentiments exactly. We do the same thing.
