How do you tell whether it's a metabank or not? I need to get one tomorrow to pay my mortgage and would rather the 1%.
Like others have said the back will say metabank.

Anyone use the new Ibotta pay feature? I see 3% on bbb I was thinking could stack with the Amex deal but I’ve never used it.
I used it at Texas Roadhouse. I used the CSR and it coded as ibotta and only got 1x. So I think ibotta charges you and issues a gc instantly and then credits your account with the percentage.

I messed up and used an Amex Gold AU that hasn't met the MSR yet yesterday at Staples and BB&B to get some GCs. Am I ok if I keep putting organic spend on it? I'm not trying to cheat AMEX out of anything, but it happened...

I'm going to guess your local stores were ok with buying $2k per day.
I think this is the first time I've ever tried going on day one too, I always remember to go midweek because I'm only getting one. I had bad luck at Kroger yesterday too. All VGCs gone, got the last 2 $50 Amazon and then had to settle for the 3x$10 packs, of which there were just a few left

We did this cruise the following year and it was 72 degrees and sunny in Iceland.. I’ve had friends that went in the winter and really enjoyed it. It’s one of the few places I’ve been on a cruise that I’d like to go back and do a land trip.

We totally plan to go back again in the summer since it was so amazing!

I think I quoted everyone that posted about Lion King HAHA

I also really enjoyed it! Yes, it was very similar to the original, but how different could it be?! It also mimics Hamlet... oh wait :rotfl:

It was visually stunning and I enjoyed getting to relive my childhood on the big screen. Timon and Pumba definitely stole the show, but I also felt that way about the original. My ONLY complaint was that I felt some parts seemed a little dark. Not like scary/eerie, just a little dark for me to appreciate how beautiful the animation was. I completely understand that it was to make shadows and night scenes realistic, but I would have been ok with them making that part a little artificial. 😂

IDC what the critics say, I like to make my own opinions and it didn't deserve the harsh reviews it got!

Chiming in late. Guess what we went to see LOL

DISchurners Announcement #4...I think...I promise I'll stop soon!
We have 2 more new threads (refreshes) out there now:
Thanks all for supporting DISchurners! We're just a few months away from celebrating our 2 year anniversary of that group, which is pretty neat to me!

Even at the movies this girl has a recliner chair. You live the life my friend! :D

LOL Our local movie theater is about 5 minutes from home and is all reserved recliner seating. It's mostly locals so everyone brings their blankets and gets comfy. So it looks PlanePrincess worthy but feels like I'm in my living room. My blanket is hidden behind me for the picture. Of course it's a Mickey Mouse blanket that was given to me as an FE gift by a friend :goodvibes

I used to drive a few minutes further to get the reserved recliners until my two closest AMCs renovated and now they both have them!! I feel very fortunate to have so many reserved reclining/heated seat options so close 😂

One mom kept taking the crying 2yo out but it was like she’d go out for 5 mins and come back in. Little girl would start crying and fussing again after 5 mins. Mom would go back out and then come back quickly. She did that the entire movie (which is a long-for-littles, 2 hours long) and I wanted to say, “sorry you paid for tickets but you’re disrupting an entire theater of people who paid for tickets. You need to leave and stay out!” But she was only one of several disruptive families. I’m pretty tolerant of kids being kids, even in a movie, but this was just extreme. And yes, bad parents who should have handled the situations better 🙄

It's been a few years since mine were young enough to have this concern, but I remember that some (many?) of the theaters around here will give a voucher for the family to come back another time if a child is crying and won't calm down. A nice policy, since I can sympathize with families not wanting to waste all of the money they've spend on tickets just because the little one is melting down.

That’s a great policy! I’m not sure if our theater has that or not but it was an amc so probably!

This is how our theater is too! I’m so spoiled! Can’t go to a regular theater with normal seats ever again lol!!
