I made the purchase at 8 pm last night, got an email from NewEgg right after. At 8:40 I got an email from Amex. Nothing since then. I can still see the order on my NewEgg account and charge is pending on Amex.
I never got the Amex email. Charge is pending. Nothing else from Newegg since the order confirmation last night at 7:39.

OK, just looking at those chocolate chips. Intrigued. What other good food choices do you buy there? I already use PB2 daily (I do half reguar half chocolate yummy) but I just got 4 pounds delivered from Amazon, so I am good there for awhile.

Hot and humid here recently too, I got up this morning and couldn't see out my windows LOL.

Same here!

Amex..very slow, I'm going to have to chat or call but we have gotten one out of 4 new bonvy replacement cards....and I've gotten plenty of notifications they're going to shut the old purple ones down...it's been 2-3 weeks! I still haven't gotten my upgraded ascend yet, so I'm using my old card until it gets here(it had better apply to the MSR!) and I can't find a charge from Macys from the other day on my Amex acct even tho it's shipped.....this is confusing.

I've gotten 2 out of 3 Amex Bonvoy new cards. And the Chase ones look so much like the Amex ones I have to look twice.

I’m personally going to get the Surpass for both me and P2 but will wait a couple days to see if referral offers elevate first.

PSA: For all those thinking about getting the Hilton Surpass or Hilton Biz with the new SUB+Free Weekend Night Certificate offer, I would emphasize @Andysol’s strategy to wait a few days to see if you can refer your P2 (or vice versa, don’t self-refer) to the new SUB offers with the FWN certs. The new offers don’t expire until 8/28/19, so you should have some time!

You can refer to any Amex Hilton card from any other Amex Hilton card or from any Amex-only branded card. A referral from a Amex Hilton card nets the referrer 20,000 Hilton Honors points, and Hilton allows for very easy, free transfer and pooling of its points. A referral from an Amex card can get your referrer 10,000-20,000 Membership Rewards points (10k from Gold, 15k from the Platinum and BBP, 20k from the BGR/Biz Gold and Biz Platinums). However, the SUBs on the Hilton Surpass and Biz via referral are still 125k-135k Hilton Honors points only, no FWN cert. Amex may roll out the ability to refer to the higher SUB+FWN cert offers later.

If you are not in a 2-Player mode, but want to benefit from the additional points of a referral, I’d again defer to @Andysol’s earlier suggestion to find a fellow single-player DISchurner who is planning to apply for one of the Hilton cards and coordinate on r/DISchurners to support each other.

Woke up to a flat tire. Luckily DH doesn't have set hours so we traded vehicles. At least he remembered to use his Platinum when they fixed it - picked up a nail.

Except Florida gets that all summer. The Midwest gets it for a week or 2.
Are you talking the super hot weather?

Last night DH said their pool was almost too hot at 78* after having the solar cover on the last few days.... I told him, he has no idea... He about died when I told him, ours was 85+ all summer long in NE with that weather, and we never used the solar cover because that would put it over 90* :rotfl:

I don’t buy a ton of food from lucky vitamins either. Mostly I buy vitamins and I add a few food items to my order. The Lily’s chocolate is really good and if you want to try just those, they sell them at Whole Foods and other natural type stores. I add a tablespoon’ish to my Greek yogurt with coconut flakes and almonds. It’s like an almond joy 😂

Thanks for the heads up.

However, I noticed something concerning when I was adding offers. Amex Offers come in cash back/statement credit and Membership Rewards versions. As I was flipping through my Amex app, I got the eBags offer in cash back on my Platinum and in MRs on several of my biz charge cards. Eventually, I added the eBags MR offer to my new Biz Plat and went back to add the eBags cash back offer to my personal Plat -- but the cash back offer disappeared from my Plat!

Previously, Amex treated the cash back and MR versions of an offer to the same merchant as different offers, so you could add both offers to different cards or even the same card if you're lucky enough for both to appear. I don't know if Amex is now treating cash back and MR versions of an offer as the same offer now, but after I added the MR version of the eBags offer to one card, the cash back version disappeared from another card just like if you had already added the offer to one of your other cards. (Unless the eBags cash back offer fully subscribed within the few minutes I was flipping through offers on other cards, but that's unlikely.)

P.S. I add all the wine, meal prep kits, a lot of the high-end fashion and home decor, streaming and web services offers that I'm never going to use onto my lesser used cards just so they don't clutter up the Available offers tab. I don't know if it gets me more offers, but it makes new and good ones easier to spot.

I noticed 2 of the Boxed offers on one card, one for cash back and one for 2 mr points. Added both, but not sure if one offer was already on the card or not as I had a hundred offers on the card to begin with. Got the BBB, ebags and CPK offers and added them to the appropriate cards. BBB goes on my SPG Brilliant to make it look like I'm using the card. All restaurants go on my Rose Gold. And then the great offers land on my little old Optima card...usually never fails, and it gets used whether I plan it or not.

I've never had that issue, but I just want to double check a couple of things. Did you activate your Serve card online before going into Walmart? Did you originally pick up a temporary Serve card before getting the permanent card in the mail?

Hm. Yes, the Serve card was activated several days ago, and no, I had the green Serve card mailed to my house so I always had the permanent one.

I know this doesn't really help if they couldn't figure it out there, but whenever I do it at Family Dollar $.05 always comes up right away. But then they put in $200 and the $.05 goes away. Do you have Family Dollar near you? It seems they are the easiest. Or did you try the service desk at Walmart?

Very odd. Unfortunately no FD nearby. And yes, I actually went straight the service/money order desk at Walmart. Figured that'd be the easiest/best bet to get it done quickly. Oh well. The Serve card might not be for me. Thanks for all your help!

WDW Poly v. WL thoughts? I got some perspectives from the CL thread but I’m wondering if any of you have any thoughts... if I switch our 4 nights at Poly CL to WL CL my fam of 4 will save $480. I’m worried about the smaller room size and different type of CL layout than we’re used to but $480 is not chump change...

I take the capsules too (and occasionally drink the liquid) but I usually just use the liquid for soaking beans. What do you take the salts for?
I drink the liquid. I put about a 1/2 inch to an inch in my glass, add a few drops of stevia and then fill the glass with water. I actually find it refreshing!

DH just got Hilton Biz last month. I would have preferred the upgraded offer. He will probably refer me to it soon.
Also thanks for all the chatter on Amex offers recently. I forget to look sometimes and have been pleasantly surprised how many of the good ones we are getting now. For a time all we had was wine and other things we never use.

The Citi biz won’t count against 5/24. Which Amex card did DH open after the CIP?

As for CL increases, it’s not a bad thing. Chase kept doing to same thing with my CIP1 and CIC, probably because I was putting a lot of (bonus category) spend on them so Chase kept increasing my CLs. If you are planning to have DH apply for more Chase cards, particularly biz cards, the increased CLs will probably decrease his chances at approval. Again, not a bad thing because it’s easily fixed by sending Chase an SM to reduce the CLs to something more adequate to the level of spend you expect to put on those cards.
Sorry! It was the Amex business!
I will prob be lazy for now and not have them decrease. (DH doesn’t do anything in regards to cards so I have to call.)

Our next plan is to close his SW cards and then have him reapply in January in hopes of getting the companion pass again. I guess he will have to have the credit limit decreased by then so he can apply for SW business. (He had SW business before but chase had him close it in order to get his CIP.)

No opinion, I just wanted to say I’m jealous of your boujeeness.

Welcome back. I'm hoping to get down to Hershey with the family. Maybe next summer. So know a couple of months ago you didn't need mailers for Biz cards. Is this still the case or has it changed?

@PolyRob (maybe others?) and I upgraded a while ago and did not have to pay the AF. Hopefully you have the same luck!
I recently went for my 2nd Citi AA Biz card (no mailer) and I'm happy to report that the $50 AA GC I purchased as a test did get credited today when my statement closed! My first Citi AA was the 40,000 $200 statement credit offer, and this was the 40,000 $250 statement credit offer.

I think the boats and buses versus monorail would keep me at the Poly which I love, but I'd be in the villas.
I think @disneymagicgirl was saying the rooms at Poly regular weren't up to par recently. Not sure how CL would rate as it's been too long. However $480 'could' buy a couple of nice meals for a family of four so it's a toss up.
