Announcement from Priority Pass that the restaurant benefit is going away August 1. So it would seem that it's not just Amex, but all credit cards with the benefit. >:(

ETA: Probably a false alarm for cards other than Amex as Thrifty Traveler has confirmed with Chase that the benefit isn't going away for CSR.

That is so awesome for you!!! Did you talk to someone again? Who did you talk to in the first place?

If I could find my notes I could tell you exactly who I spoke to, but they are MIA right now. I have only spoken with frontline reps and I last spoke with someone about 3 weeks ago - he was the one who arranged for the 10k bonus miles and told me the SUB had been approved and would 'most likely' post at next statement close. However, he said that it was the girl I spoke to back in May that had done all the work getting this approved. He was quite impressed by the case she had opened to get this looked into and said she had provided a very detailed explanation of why I should be awarded the miles. While I was on the phone, he also contacted the person that reviewed the case to confirm that everything had been approved.

Note: this was the second case that been opened. The first one which was opened late April was closed by Amex after 3 weeks with no communication to me.

Hope you get yours resolved soon.

I'll let everyone know if I get a reply. There was a Dosh thread on the budget board not long ago that asked about having to link accounts so I must not be the only one. I keep meaning to say, while playing around with the app, I notice on my offers it says do you want to share offer. I wondered if that Sams or Kroger offer that some of us have and others don't can be shared that way? @wendow or anyone else let me know if you want me to try. I hit it and it went to something that looks like it could be texted or emailed. Not sure if you are sharing that specific offer or it is just a link to Dosh in general.
That's right, I did see that with that other user. Had never heard of it doing that before, and since there's very little replies no one else did either apparently. Maybe it's a new vs old account thing? I don't know why they'd do that, but maybe they did a change recently. My account was created from a support link in Jan, and I login with my phone number and a password.

There's nothing inherently wrong with logging in to link a card, they're not storing your login info, but I still prefer services that don't do it that way. Even though they're not supposed to have access to card information that you didn't link, just feels better only giving it to them separately one at a time. Could be that by doing the login it stops fraud/misuse since you have to have access to the account vs I can pick up any card from anyone and add it to my account assuming I have the right zip code. Possibly in the future we will all have to switch?

And that does remind me of a tidbit I picked up while I was searching the interwebs - once you link a card to a Dosh account it can't be relinked to another account. You can delink it, but you can't then add it to P2 or P3's account later, it's supposed to get "burned" and basically can only be relinked to your account. This will suck if something goes wrong with your account and it has to be recreated.

So you're telling me the crowds are going to stay away until the full SWGE experience is available Dec. 5/Jan. 17?
Why yes, yes they are. This plays very well with my Nov trip to the Land. Now if only we can get the MSEP to extend its run a few more months!

I need to buy DL tickets with Disney gc's. Is there anywhere else I can purchase them besides from Disney directly? Depending on our experience this trip I may be able to talk dh into upgrading to the $599 Flex Passport and go back to see the whole SWGE next year! (NOT holding my breath since it took 26 years to get him to go back!)

If you buy a membership from priority pass do you get the restaurants still? Is it just for the passes given as a credit card benefit?

I've seen Disneyland tickets sold at Target, Safeway, and the Disney Store (which, of course is Disney directly).

Interestingly, the United MileagePlus X app also sells Disneyland tickets (but their pricing is the same as Disney).

You should compare your savings using Disney GCs vs. buying discounted tickets from Last Minute Travel (LMT Club) and Undercover Tourist.

@SouthFayetteFan and @palhockeymomof2 - rethinking DH's next card. He hardly uses cc's so I am reithinking getting him the 3x CFU. Thinking I should refer him from my CF. I think that will yield more points in the long run. Your thoughts?

ETA - I see there is no referral bonus for the CF....going back to CFU - maybe at some point I will have him refer me for that card too.

ETA again - just applied for the CFU for him and was approved. Thanks for your help. (Yes - I used a dischurner's link.)

Well at least I got to use it - once. Had $110 of free food and drinks at Stephanies in BOS last week.

I never even got to use it.

It's ironic that I went down the churning rabbit hole from seeing a friend post on FB about all the free food he got with Priority Pass. Churning has been so much more rewarding than I ever expected though, so I guess I can't be bitter.
