Logging in directly to the Amex Refer A Friend site still shows 10k MR per referral on the BBP for me, but I was able to pull up the increased 15k MR referrals by going through my Amex online account.

Remember, you can refer/self-refer from the BBP to any of Amex’s other cards. At 15k MR, this is the second most valuable card to refer from, on par with the Platinums.

ETA: Yes, it would be a good idea to generate a new link from the BBP with the increased 15k MR referral bonus attached.
Going for this card today for my dh, even though he won’t get the bonus, but this referral bonus is same as plat so doesnt matter in my case, right? Just want to make sure I’m not missing anything!
 
On the bank bonus front, M&T increased their offer to $300 after a $500 DD for some regions. They are regionally restricted, only less than 10 states, but still looks like you can work around that and open out of state, if so inclined. (@gottalovepluto you did it out of state recently, correct?)

Bonus posts fast, within 1-3 biz days, and they allow downgrade to a fee free account after you get the bonus - I did it through SM.

If you don't see the highest offer show up with your own zip code, try 26726 as shared in the DoC comments. Mine and several other PA zips are showing the $250 bonus still, but if I try that one the $300 comes up.
 


I think my post before might’ve gotten missed. If I do a pick up order through sams club can I still get the 5% with dosh that says in store?
I speculate that if you choose the"pay in store" option at checkout it should track. I've only done 1 pickup order so I'm not sure how it usually works - when I did mine I wasn't given another option to enter any kind of payment details so I chose that by default :rolleyes:

I think when I was looking last night I didn’t see a pay at store option but I’ll have to look again! If it’s there I’m just gonna try it.

ETA-On the app it won’t let me choose pay in store but on the website it will so I think I’ll try it and see if I get the 5% back. If not it’s not a huge deal because some of the things I’m getting are way cheaper than at Walmart anyway
 
Smart lady! You won’t be like the crazy people at Sam’s & Costco today stocking up on water, Gatorade, bread, etc. Also saw at least one generator headed for self-checkouts.
Local news has people in full on panic mode. Nothing to worry about til Jim Cantore shows up, right?!?! 🙃

Our local stores are trying hard to restock empty shelves of water and bread right now. It's like a mad house around here. As of this morning, the storm took a slight easterly turn bringing it right into my town if it continues on it's expected track. Looks like we'll just be stuck in the house all weekend. Luckily we've got a generator so if our power goes out (our town's power is super unreliable and goes out during regular thunderstorms) we can do what we did for a hurricane a few years back and live in the master bedroom with our window unit and still have TV.....LOL.
 


This morning DH and I finally downloaded WhatsApp so we could text while flying... just hadn't bothered until now. I got a live recap of the conversation going on in the row behind him for the first flight.

Maybe we shouldn't have done this :rolleyes:

Though he did get gems such as, why don't they plant grass in the desert? All sharks should get trackers so they can keep people safer at the beach. 90% of the ocean has never been seen...
 
Ok on the Sams Club disaster I am having, these are my current options...
I can have the police report emailed to me, for 25 cents a page LOL, and a $1.75 credit card fee, once it's finished. Then I send to Sams and make them send me new cards.
I can pay priority mail/signature confirmation fees to mail all the dispute documents to Barclays to dispute a partial charge. I have never done that before, what if Sams tell them the same thing they told me, that the package was delivered so without a police report they won't take the charge off?
Thoughts?

I think I am kinda leaning toward the police report option first.

Thanks! I got 2 nights for a purchase. I think I will take it. I just paid my $85 on June 1. Is there a better time to upgrade? Is it better to upgrade now or wait till September? Or does it make a difference? I know some people were getting AFs charged later and having the card free for longer. Anyone that has done this will card number change? If so, I at least need to wait 2 weeks as DD still has this card and is not supposed to be using it since she has her own Foreign Free card now, but I have noticed a few Australia charges on there. I got 2 nights credit from her Africa trip. Oy. I was not expecting her to use it so much. She really racked up some Uber charges there.

Maybe depends on the location? Don't know. For giggles I threw something in the cart for pickup and in the checkout screen I can toggle Pay Online or Pay in Club, mine defaults to in club evidently. Since you're not giving online your payment info should be processed just like you picked it yourself. It's seems like it's just basically a suspended order and you swipe your card at that time.

Ah I just noticed your edit in my quote, yeah, I did this all through the web. Maybe it's a web vs app thing then.
 
Speaking of free night certificates, I am using 2 of ours next week on our Yellowstone trip. My SPG $95 night I am using at a Springhill Suites in Jackson Hole that is charging almost $500 a night! :scared1: Seems a little ridiculous for that, but I guess you pay for going at prime time. My $85 Marriott night is being used for a $183 room in Idaho Falls. So I think I got my moneys worth on those AFs.

I did back under the $250 offer. My account was frozen shortly after I opened for ID verification, I had to fax or email in like my social security card and drivers license in order to unfreeze- which I needed to do because I had my "DD" and bonus posted to the account already. I tried to call the money back using my hub, Ally, but Ally got a notice from M&T the account was locked or whatever triggering Ally's own fraud protocols to kick in. A simple call to Ally got my account there unlocked but fyi don't try to transfer to/from an account that is frozen. (In my defense I didn't realize it at the time.)
-don't let my ID tale scare you off, it was fairly simple if annoying to straighten it all out and the bonus itself is, God bless them, still stupid easy
 
I know Sun Country doesn't get a lot of love around here, but we've flown them several times when visiting DH's parents in Minnesota. I just got an email that they're changing their cancellation/change fees for the better:View attachment 416410
Sadly, I think that's the least they can do with the issues they have had lately. Just last week they stranded people at numerous airports with no notice and empty customer service counters. I used to fly them all the time, since they are local for me, but I don't know that I would again.

Dosh hates me too. I have just sent another missing cashback request. I have had to do it every time. And while I was doing it, sent a request to see if they could tell me how to add a CC without logging in. @Haley R since you just downloaded the app is yours like mine where you have to log in to your Chase/Amex account to add a card?
