Always nice to book the room and hold it in the event you want it and it disappears or goes up in price. I have a BC CL room sitting in MDE for a possible SWGE preview week. Just requires 1st night deposit and has 5-day cancellation.

If you go into the UR portal, under the counter for the credit it will tell you your credit resets after your X/2019 statement closes

To not go to off topic here- for those that did the Happycard deal on Amex, when did you see the $15 back post?

Having FL resident/AP rates AND living so close that should be do-able. My goal several years ago was all deluxe/moderates which took a "few" trips but was definitely fun! I even threw in OKW and SSR although I have negative interest in DVC. It's nice to be able to compare and contrast and find a favorite (or two or three).

WL was my favorite in MK area, and YC in EPCOT area

I didn’t even look at the Florida rates yet! So far our two favorite resorts are YC and POFQ. Most of the resorts we have left are deluxe and the all stars.

I don’t mind pop but it isn’t my first choice. It’s a great option for a budget trip. I’m holding out on movies until it’s completely renovated. We’ve never stayed at AoA. It doesn’t appeal to me at all.

Finally at SFO about 36 hours since leaving Botswana. One more flight to go (which will be flight number 6, including two very short bush flights from our final safari camp to Maun, Botswana and then flights from Maun to Johannesburg, Joburg to Paris, Paris to SFO and now to Boise. Being in business class was such a Godsend for the two 10+ hour flights. We opened up the Air France lounge at CDG this morning at about 5:30 a.m. Paris time. First time I’ve taken a shower in an airport lounge, and it felt glorious! Our flight to SFO was delayed almost 3 hours, which had me worried about making our flight to Boise, but we were off the plane quickly since we were up front and got through customs in about 5 minutes thanks to Global Entry. Also super quick and easy to recheck our bags with United and pop into the domestic terminal thanks to TSA Pre. If it is relevant to anyone, we thought Air France Business class was quite a bit better than Swiss. Really posting now to report that I landed at SFO to news that James at Juicy Miles was also successful in booking our return flights from Japan. Two in First and two in Business on JAL from Tokyo Narita to LAX using Qantas miles. So happy to have our long haul flights for Japan all booked!

AoA was actually wonderful with a teenage daughter-2 bathrooms in the family suites made it really useful for a quick trip. I understand not everyone resonates with resorts the same way, so it's great there are so many options at different price points.

My most recent Happy card Amex deal posted 6/25 for the purchase and 6/27 for the -$15.00. I’m not sure if they actually showed up on my ledger on those dates, but that’s what it says now.

Report on DoC of early enforcement of no PP Restaurants for Amex PP at Timberline, DoC suspects its an error but heads up. A DoC comment says they'll be at Timberline Fri and will try it.

ETA: this isn't supposed to be enforced until Aug 1

I did the MR deal for Happy. Purchased on 7/3 and points posted on 7/5. I was getting worried about my Saks credit but I see it credited late this afternoon although it is dated 7/6 and I know it wasn’t there yesterday or this morning.

I'm very envious of all you productive couch churners today. I've been walking the property pulling tansy!

I am contemplating going for the Rose Gold Amex. I have all my credit locked down and haven't ever unfrozen it after fraud was detected in January. If I only unlock TU will Amex pull from that? I have 8 inquiries on EQ and only one on TU. I can't believe I haven't opened a cc in 6 months! But it's nice to see my CS creeping upwards.

I thought that for a minute but couldn’t figure out how an organization that has taken 4 out of 8 and 2 cups in a row is an embarrassment to the country???? Unless it was sarcasm and more political in nature...
