Those pictures are amazing!! It looks so beautiful!! I am so excited to stay there this Thanksgiving!! After seeing those photos, I am sooooo happy that we switched from the Polynesian to stay here!! :lovestruc
Be very glad. My parents were at CSR in May on my recommendation and I was at Poly. I was seriously regretting it. We had stayed at CSR last summer in a beautiful new room and it was so much nicer than my Poly room. Poly is a beautiful resort but those rooms and hallways and OMG the elevators...need some serious attention.

That's so sad to hear about the Poly. I hope you were still able to enjoy your trip.

The Poly was our 1st WDW stay in 2013 and it was a beautiful resort. In 2015 we stayd at the Beach Club in a gorgeous new room. :cloud9: For this trip we decided we were going to go back to the Poly - we liked the BC rooms way better but we really missed the monorail and being so close to the MK. We booked the Poly but really, the cost of the trip was literally making me sick. There was no way the poly's rooms were worth (to me, at least...) $700+ per night. We switched to the Tower at CSR (and just the other day was able to switch from a waterview room to a standard view tower room) and add an extra night to the trip...and saved over $2000 (I forget the exact amount/don't have the paper right here). I can't wait to go back to WDW and stay in this beautiful new hotel!

Glad I'm not the only one who didn't think the Poly was all that - for the price I paid, it just didn't have the WOW factor - thought the rooms we had at Renaissnace at SeaWorld and Hard Rock Hotel were just as good, and they were half the price. Pool and location is great though. Will be interesting to compare CSR to Poly. It costs a fraction of the Poly, but looks just as nice as the Poly. Can't wait until next year.

I am considering switching my standard tower room to a water view tower room. It is just so hard to decide if this makes sense. Especially since there are no pictures available yet. I am dying to see pictures of the rooms and the views :yo-yo:

Since I will be staying at a regular standard room for the second half of my September trip I was wondering if there are refill stations that are close to Ranchos? It would be nice to get my morning coffee and not having to go all the way to the main building ;)?

Public or not, they will probably be in trouble for posting at all. I think most of them are CMs.

Are you saying to remove them? I meant I wasn't linking from a private page. I would hope they don't get into trouble, Disney getting great, free publicity and the reviews are all super positive!

Maybe crop her name out. But no, leave them up. It’s on her for posting in the first place

I can't see why Disney would care about resort pics being posted. It's different when it's a new ride or land. All those pics will do is help the resort book up faster!

It’s just reading some of the other IG posts about being at the preview specifically talk about seeing more when it grand opens on 7/9. So that’s me speculating they aren’t supposed to post until official pictures are released.

Sorry for so many posts. It seems my rainy Sundays are spent vacation planning!

Anyways, I know there are some of us who will be staying at this resort for the first time. I love to watch you-tube walk-throughs of the hotels and I thought this one was really detailed and helpful. It's 30 minutes, but you can skip through things. You have to click the link to watch through you-tube so you have sound. She narrates, but it is restrained. :)
