Of expanding by 2 teams, where would you put them ?

Toronto and St Louis

Well, Toronto, but I think the Bills should move there. If London gets a team, I think it would make sense for there to be another team in Europe as well. Dublin? Paris?

I pity the next two cities that get a team.

It's time to stop giving taxpayers money to the richest sports league in the world and to the feudal lords that run its teams.

LA had the right idea when the Rams and Raiders left years ago. Buh bye. The hounds will be released in 10 minutes.
San Diego had the right idea. Buh bye Chargers. Buh bye. Don't let our foot hit you in the rump on the way out.
Oakland, don't ever woo the Raiders again. They did it to you twice now.

St Louis is the biggest US TV market without a team IIRC, so that seems an obvious choice.

I’ve often thought Boise might be a good spot.

Toronto already has a football team that gets no attention. There are rumblings of moving it.

We are hosting a preseason game between the Packers and the Raiders and it’s getting a lukewarm reception. I personally don’t think the NFL fits here.

I am curious on what the attendance will be. Packer fans are known for being faithful and hard-core, but with the travel distance and logistics involved and ticket prices to the game, I don't see it being well-attended.

So, how would 34 teams work, anyway? 17 per conference? That's a prime number! Is there going to be one random division with 5 teams in each conference?

Buffalo supports their team like few cities do, the tlak to move them is cause a city has a bigger media market, but leave Buffalo alone

Yes.... and we do have lots of Canadian fans that travel here regularly for home games, but the Toronto thing just did not pan out. Buffalo supports their teams no matter how bad they are for decades at a time. Serious dedication regardless of it being a small market. However, I am completely against this concept that taxpayers fund the stadium or any portion of the NFL. That drives me nuts.

You didn't remember the Alamo lol. I may be looking at a different metric but San Antonio popped up in my head immediately as the largest city with no NFL team. Unlike Houston and Dallas, SA sn’t a football talent pool largely because of the demographics of the city but they are huge football fans. I’ve heard good ole’ Jerry Jones would fight S.A. getting a team though.

Actually, I have thought of San Antonio, though I had then figured into the mix at 36 teams, not 34.

FTR, the greater San Antonio metro area has 2.4 million people compared to 2.8 million in St Louis, though SA is growing at a much faster rate with rapidly growing Austin reasonably close by.

Travel time really isn’t that outrageous. I know of at least 2 couples that go to a lot of Packers home games. Family friends here actually have season tickets for the Vikings and travel every weekend.

Having said that, I don’t think the NFL would work in Canada. We already have so many choices as it is.
