Me, as I wait super impatiently for Southwest to release their December flight schedule, so I can sweet talk husband into flying.
We are going in early December, and I'm waiting for flight to open up as well! I estimate around the beginning of May (but hope I'm wrong)!

Changed to the Poly from WL today!! I adore WL but I do have two other stays there this year so I don't mind the switch. Especially since it's over NYE so location wise it should be great!

We had to cancel our Jan trip this year do to Kiddo's heart condition, he is having open heart surgery this summer now. We have decided to book a 16th surprise birthday celebration for the first week of Dec. I have booked the Pop( his favorite resort) for 11/30 - 12/5 for the first half of the trip we are still deciding on the second the half of the trip. I am leaning toward a monorail resort but we love AKL.

Were heading 12/4-12/7! We are DVC and this will be our first time staying at our new “home” at Copper Creek. We had this trip booked for a few months but we just made the decision yesterday to officially keep our reservation. We weren’t sure how to deal with SWGE but we’re just going to skip DHS and make the most of it!

Thinking of spending Christmas week at Disney this year! My husband and I have four kids ages 11,10,5, and 2. My 5 year old asks me daily to go back to Disney. We usually go every other or every year. We were there last June, way too hot we went the last two times in June and want to go for the holidays. We originally wanted to go Halloween, but like I said I want my kids to see Christmas. My older two we took early December when they were younger. We done Halloween when my 3rd child was a baby. We wanted to for Thanksgiving, but Christmas is so stressful. I rather ahead to Disney, then buying all more toys! Any tips?
We are thinking of checking in dec 20-27. I need a lot of tips! I have a lot of researching to do. I am scared since I have little ones, I doubt I can do rope drop on MK Christmas Day.

December 2-7, Riverside! Can't wait for the Holiday party schedule to be released, we're hoping to be there on the 6th for our 5 year anniversary!

Asked my youngest where he wants to eat on our trip as it will be the next time he's with us-next month is adults only again and my Oct trip is for work. So far he's got Narcoossee's, Cape May for dinner, Garden Grill for breakfast which are all good. Then he throws BOG dinner out there; this was a family fave before they changed the menu. We ate there in Nov and for the first time did NOT enjoy our meal :( I'll probably do it for him but then the rest of the choices are all mine lol!

I've been so hesitant to try BoG since the change!

We’ll be there Dec. 7-14 at AKL. First time in anything other than Pop Century. Wondering if the Pop Warner tournament will affect anything (ASRs, FP, crowds...)

December 1-8
first time staying off site! feel like im going for the first time with this new planning process haha

I hate to tell people NOT to try somewhere in Disney because as I'm sure you know, one person's favorite is another's "avoid at all costs" lol. But we'd eaten at BOG for dinner 8x under the old menu and except for 1 time when one filet was like, and 8 instead of a 10, we always LOVED everything. This time with the new menu we were really missing a few dishes and felt the salads and filet were definitely not as good. Super disappointingly not as good. And while the dessert trio was ok, and certainly cute, we didn't like not having a choice. Not worht the $$ and price doesn't normally factor in to where we eat; we don't mind at all paying for great food. But on the other hand if it's on your mind to try I'd do it :) At least then you can say you have and it wasn't a HORRIBLE meal by any means.

I completely understand! I think its FOMO. I feel the same way. I will totally pay for something if it is worth it. In the case of BoG, if you're paying almost double for something you don't like as much its definitely not worth it. I have it in the back of my mind for December, but could easily swap it out with a signature (that will probably be more enjoyable) outside of the park for the same price.

Renting DVC for 12/3-12/9, Savannah View at Kidani Village. Can't wait. Never stayed Deluxe before. We are celebrating my mom's 60th, and my son's first trip (he's 2). 6 of us total. My 4th trip overall, wife's 3rd, daughter's 3rd, mom's 9th maybe, and my sister's 4th.

I would avoid MK at all costs in Christmas Day. The rest of the parks are fine that day and you do not need to worry about doing rope drop for those.

Booked 7 of us at the Gran Destino Tower at CSR 12/8-12/14! 7 days/6 nights of Magical Christmas Joy. Bookended by relaxation days at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress...Cannot wait!

Staying at CBR 12/23-1/1. We have never been to Disney during Christmas. We usually go in July or August so this will be very exciting for us!

I have been booted to this thread thanks to F&W being extended into our November trip.

New dates: 11/30-12/8 at ASMu (still holding out for Pop, but am happy with ASMu too).
