I purchased eight 10 day MYW non expiring hopper passes for about $500 each over 12 years ago and have yet to use any of these. I believe that while I cannot resell these (and have no intention of doing so), I can transfer these to our grandkids.

Just curious, if these were able to be sold, what would your guess be in fair market value??? $1000 each?

I'm guessing at least for whatever the cost is for the equivalent ticket today. Go to the WDW site and price a 10 day hopper.

That was quite a good purchase! I miss those non expiring tickets :(

If they're unused, I don't see any reason why you couldn't sell them. That being said, you may find some trust issues with finding a buyer because of the age of the tickets. I remember having a 10 day non expiring hopper ticket for about $250. If I had only know to invest in those back then!

And yes - I'd think about $1000 each would be ballpark if you sold. I wouldn't say it's 10x the cost of a 1-day hopper as its very unlikely they'd be used that way. But figuring that that value would be for someone who wants to use them on at least two trips, I'd day the minimum value would be 2x the cost of the 5 day hopper although depending on how you used them you could get more or less value out of them.

Giving them to your grandkids would be very nice. Figure that easily gives them 2-3 trips to Disney. If they did two 3 day trips and a 4 day trip over a few year, that's about $1100 - $1200 per person you've just saved them.

By they way - looking to adopt any more grandkids . . .?

I have 13 of them sitting in my mde account. Some partially used, some unused. The unused ones can be transferred to anyone in my friends and family list in my mde account.

You can transfer them to whoever you want if they are unused. I wouldn’t know how to value them. They could be used in so many different combinations - one 10 day hopper, two 5 day hoppers, etc.

If I were sharing mine with my family, they would be free :)

I don't have a number because to me they would be priceless and I would definitely hold onto them.
I definitely intend to hold on to them for the forseeable future. In fact, we have annual passes. Additionally, we take one grand child each year (we have six under the age of 8). To date, we have hoarded these passes and opted for 3-5 day passes for each trip for the grandkids.

I would hold onto them, then if you want to upgrade to an AP, they would potentially bridge the price, making them an even more incredible deal.

That being said, if you were to sell them, I don't think $1,000 would be right, based on a current park hopper price of $517 probably in the neighborhood of $600 since they are nonexpiring and aren't limited on dates they can be used.

Oh boy! I certainly wish I had bought more of these before they took them away in 2015! If it helps at all, I just looked in my UT account to see what I paid for my 10-day Park Hopper Plus, non-expire before WDW took them away in 2015 and I paid $768.53. I would think you could ask more for them given the price increases over the years? These tickets were so great! I use them for really short trips (1 day here, 2 days there) and still have 4 park days and all my water park entitlements!

The ticket also comes with an additional 10 days of waterparks or golf or espn. Beyond this, the real appeal is that I can spread the ticket over three or more trips. Three 3 day hopper passes alone would cost around $1000 if I am not mistaken.

Also, I believe that these 10 day hopper passes were selling for over $800 each before disney decided to pull the plug.

I couldn’t agree more , disneywishes! Short trips to multiple parks is the ideal use. That was my thought process when I originally purchased the tickets..since we are sea world, busch gardens and universal passholders, and usually get to florida three or four times annually.
