Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

I have been dropping hints to my husband about getting annual passes. From my calculations, as long as we get at least 2 week long trips in within a year, the AP is cheaper than buying tickets for each trip separately. Now hearing about these awesome discounts has me even more intrigued! We typically stay deluxe, so what is a usual AP discount for the summer months?

For the BWI, it looks like it is 40% which is the highest discount. If you look at the Sun & Fun discount you can see which ones get the biggest regular discount, and scale it proportionately from there. We are staying in a Deluxe club level room, which is a bit bigger than standard club level, and the AP pass paid for itself in about 3 days.

Edit- I ran the figures and it looks like it is 35% but with such an expensive room that AP paid for itself pretty fast.

Wow!!! 40% is an amazing discount! Does everyone in your family have an AP? I always try to book a BB offer. I just got 30% BB for AKL CL, but now that is the same as the general discount.

Hi - we are staying CL at the BC in May...we are soooo excited!!! We haven't stayed CL there since 2011 so I have a couple questions. I know it's in different location now. Is it bigger? Do we still check-in at the lounge or is it in the lobby? We stayed CL at the GF a couple years ago and they were checking CL guests in at the lobby at that time. And, is is true that they have ice cream in the evenings???? I will need to lose some weight before our trip if this is the case. Omg...I'll be in heaven.

We just stayed CL at the BC over Christmas.

It was our first time to stay CL there, so I don't have a personal comparison, but I believe I've read that when the lounge was remodeled it was made bigger. There are now two "rooms" that have seating, and there is another room-sized area that has most of the food. I think the coffee/tea area was set up on a buffet in the room with the larger seating area though.

When we were there, they had ice cream cups (chocolate and vanilla) available in a small freezer, along with Olaf fruit popsicles I think. They were definitely there during the dinner/later hours, but I don't know if they had them earlier in the day because i never personally made it there at breakfast or lunch times. My H was always sent to retrieve the breakfast items while my D and I were getting ready, lol. And during the lunch/afternoon hours we were always out in the parks.

They also had a small candy "bar" area in the room with the larger seating that had little plastic bags and twist ties so you could prepare a little snack bag to take with you. :) While we were there it had mini Reese's, taffy, Starburst, and one other kind of candy that I can't remember right now.

Just as an FYI, they had plenty of canned soda but no water bottles there. We had just come from a stay at WL CL where they did have water bottles, and when my H asked a CM at BC if they had any, she got pretty snooty about it and acted like he was crazy for asking. She told him he was welcome to take tap water and put it in a to-go cup. We aren't big soda drinkers in our family, and H knows I'm not a big fan of WDW tap water, so he politely declined, lol.

HTH!

Sounds great!! I’d probably hover around the candy bar all day! Hope you had a great trip!

That is so crazy. Why stock limitless soda but not water, which is probably cheaper? I am just going to keep asking for water every time I visit.

If I had an AP I might be able to look it up the exact percentage, but I don't have it yet so I'm just going by what I paid before vs. now- I'm paying 65% of the rack rate now. That's 35% off by my calculation. So not quite 40% but a heck of a lot better than before.

Wow, 40% at BWI is 10% higher than last year’s AP offer that covered most summer dates. Earlier announcement of promotions, longer discount windows, free dining... things that make you go hmmmmm. :scratchin

….and there's also 40% discount at YC, GF, and AKL I believe!! I'm so excited to see the 40% back again. Even if just for this round of deals! Though fingers crossed it continues. Poly and CR are only 20%. Going from memory, but I think that's right.

Do they have a set number of rooms this applies to, or is it just all the rooms that are left at any participating resort?

Thank you so much! That's great to hear and very helpful!!! Glad you had a great trip.

Right?!?

Maybe if people keep asking they will eventually stock it. I don't understand why some CL have it and others don't. Anyone know?

I remember a time when all CL's used to have water bottles out. Then they gradually started keeping the stock in the kitchen area and they gave out on request only. Then some CL's gradually started to put water bottles out again. Now it seems most CL's have them out at all times. We like to grab 4 water bottles before leaving for parks, so I hope all CL's get them back.

Oh my gosh! I cannot think of a more perfect way to start any day!! Amazing!
The Trattoria al Forno at BWI right on the boardwalk 1st floor outside, has a character breakfast. However you can ask for non character breakfast, stand by.

There is a small room with about 6-8 tables and some outdoor seating too . We only waited 5-10 both mornings and it was over NYE weekend.

Food was good and the coffee was great! 2 breakfasts, 2 coffees and 1 mimosa about $40 FYI. My husband was impressed to find such a great spot but @BlueSkies was the hero for telling me about this spot.

Dd was so beyond jealous because Tangled , her favorite is there and I wouldn't take her last year because we had club level.

Really cl is great but non cl can be amazing too! It's what you make of it.

That is so nice to hear. It was such an odd contrast because the WL gave them out so freely, and the BC acted like we were asking for Dom Perignon, lol. The WL also had the little bottles of orange juice too, which my D loved.

Oh wow! I had no idea! We are staying at The Boardwalk for the first time this summer, may have to check it out!

I just posted my poly pix if interested on poly thread. We made do without cl lol. We ate dinner at CC's at6pm 12/31 then watched the 6:30 fireworks. Walked to gf to see the lobby. We then watched EWP on path from Gf to poly and then hung out at the Tambu Lounge with drinks and appies. What's not to love about that.

Next stop? Gf rpc, I might need some cl pampering , and a trip without my guys lol.
