"Official" 2018 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party - Holiday Magic

I'm coming from NJ too for the 12/11 parade! Disappointed in the cold weather forecast - a low of 43 - yikes - but maybe it'll keep the crowd low.

I am definitely brining some cold weather gear with me! I remember wearing gloves in 2016. 12/11 was my first choice and 12/13 was my second choice. I don't really want to rearrange everything for cooler weather. A downpour? THEN I would have adjusted. I am hoping the cooler temp actually drives away day-of guests haha probably wishful thinking

We are attending the party tomorrow night 12/6/18. We live in South Florida, where we are spoiled with always wearing shorts and t-shirts, so I am kinda confused over what to pack!

Do we know if the 12/6 party is sold out?

We are going to MVMCP and are thinking of attending Tony's Most Merriest celebration truly to avoid parade aniexty the food and drink would be nice too. Has anyone attended and what is your review please. Worth the splurge?

It seems that the weather forecast for 12/11 gets cooler each day I look at it. 70 didn't seem too bad at first, but a high of 62? Looks like it may be a cool MVMCP next Tuesday

That is our party night too. We are coming from the upper midwest though so our high temps this week have upper teens/low 20s. 62 sounds great and we will already have our winter gear with us!

I'm sure this has been asked and answered before, so forgive me, but I looked and couldn't find the answer. We are wanting to attend the party night without backpacks or bags. I have seen where several people got their treats (which are now prepackaged) and took to eat later. Does DW supply a treat bag like they do at the Halloween party for you to put treats in or do I need to bring something to carry our extra treats around in?

I have to say I am a bit surprised as our party date looks like a low in the 40s. I’m good with cooler weather, but cold and rainy... no thanks. And the only day the forcast predicts storms is my JbJb party.

I'm guessing you are talking about the 9th! That is our HS night too!!! I cancelled our JBJB party and am just going to plan to watch the show from the outskirts in case the weather holds up!!!!! But we will be at the MVMCP on the 11th and booked Tonys- We will hopefully be in Christmas jammie bottoms.. and are the crazy ones that will have a 2 yo at the 11 pm parade lol!!! Say hi if you see us!!!

Better bring something as nothing handed out but I am sure they would sell you one of the Christmas bags.

Yes indeed, I was referring to the 9. I am going back and forth with canceling JBJB party because of the weather. Our whole trip is a bit nippier (did I spell the right?) than expected! On the 11 at MVMCP, We will probably have jackets zipped up over our shirts but they say “not a creature was stirring, not even a... then a picture of Mickey Mouse in a Santa hat. DH is praying for freezing weather that night so no one sees in him the shirt I forced him to wear.

They did not hand out bags last night. I ran to Walmart before hand and just picked up a drawstring backpack for all the loot. I am really glad we did as we came home with about 25 cookies between the 2 of us and lots of Dove chocolate.

I had storms predicted for both and neither happened. Was up to 80% at one point. I did get some rain on my AK day in between them but lucked out for party and JBJB

I'm splitting Epcot and HS this day! I am trying to figure out a contingency because it seems like it may be more than just a typical Florida rain for 30 minutes, then sunshine.

Will do! If its really going to be that cool, we may want some indoor space haha I will have to discuss out options when finalizing ADRs
