Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Welcome back mickeynut. Glad you had a great trip.

Thanks, Maxie! We had such an amazing time, can't wait to go back :goodvibes.

:cool1:WOOHOO I am geeked. Called DSS today to attempt to book my CL fastpasses. I explained I had a glitch of not having my full stay available at CL and that one day I really wanted the purchased fast passes for was not at club level for DHS. Since I already had dining and Hoop De Doo booked, it would be hard to move that around, BUT she said since the majority of my days were on CL and since I would be booking two of my purchased days while being on CL, they would allow me to use day number 3 on my non CL at WL. The only snag was I have to wait a few more days because one has to do it all at once and thus I have to go to my end day of trip. Well I am greatly relieved because this was a deal breaker if I could not get DHS fastpasses, helped make the exra price more worthwhile, and doing it this far in advance is a blessing. Now I won't have to wait and be stressed to get what I want. AND it gives me a few more days to figure things out. I explained that the new day to book was when someone would be home and ruin the surprise if I had to go through a long conversation but she suggested I email my requests and that way they can call me to confirm these are my choices and book them without step by step......I am quite happy they worked with my situation to meet my trip needs. :thumbsup2

Glad they are working with you and allowing you to do all 3 days! Hope you have a great trip :).

They told me that I could get CL all trip at the YC and I thought about that for a second ....but all my plans are centered around the WL locale....I was also told the VP suite was available on CL at the WL....I had a good giggle over the price but did suggest I was available for an upgrade!!!princess: Just thought I should mention it.....:cool2:
Why not just add the $99 option to get CL access for the nights you can't book CL? Often works out to be cheaper too. It was for our trip in October

Maybe....right now I hope to have all my FP's in a row for desired days later this week and then the room can wait. I want to be on top floor for location and quietness at night....and I think that 99$ CL access is available only when you arrive not prior for planning. Once I get my FP's done, I will be able to relax and look at all the details. Guess I still will have two days to book that are NOT CL so must wait til December for those. Unless DSS is realllllly nice to me. Thought I would email my whole week of FP plans in a few days and see what sticks. :rolleyes1

Ah, we actually prefer any floor but the CL floor because of the solid balcony on that floor. When we do want to sit outside we like to see out. But yes, you have to wait till you arrive to purchase. We plan to add it on again when we go next month.

Question....when you book your regular fastpasses and then book the additional 3 fastpasses, when can you start booking same day fastpasses? Is it after you use your regular 3 fastpasses or do you have to wait until you use your regular 3 and the extra club level before you can book same day?

After you use your 'regular' 3 FPs. Your 4th+ can't overlap with a 'paid/extra' FP, but can be anytime before, after, or around (depending on your circumstances) any paid ones you may have left.

Since you mentioned SSR did you by chance book an AKL CL DVC room or just a regular CL room? You would know because you can't book an AKL CL DVC room through Disney, only through DVC or very rarely a DVC rental company. If you did indeed get lucky and get a DVC AKL CL room then it will be the same set up as SSR. Otherwise it will most likely be 2 queens. According to TP there's 1 king + daybed (4431) at AKL CL but that could be wrong.
Hi, it was just a regular CL room, sadly!

I have had a handicap CL room , not requested nor needed, twice & it felt huge! It had a king bed & a small couch, which may or may not have converted to a bed. And the handicap bathroom was awesomely large too!
I don’t know if it actually had more square footage, but having only one bed made it feel quite spacious. Just wish I knew the room number!
This was at AKL- I don’t think the quote worked!
Oh thats handy to know thank you!

Hi everyone! I posted this over in the Theme Park Strategies forum however I thought I would copy over here since this is where my friends are...:goodvibes If any of you has experienced this please let me know. I usually only book for myself and stay CL so this is all new to me. Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I'm sure this is already addressed in another thread and if so can you please send me the link. :) Here is our situation for our upcoming trip. We booked our reservation under a group block but for some reason it didn't include our arrival day in the block. So I booked a one night reservation through the WDW website for our first night and then booked under the group room block for the next 4 nights.

My question is how to handle the 2 sets of magic bands that we will receive? Do we cancel one set?
Also for our travelling party there will be only 4 people on our first night (magic band order) and 5 people for the rest of the trip. Our park days don't begin until the second day as well.

I have also booked my own travel without staying in a room block so this is all new to me.

Thank you so much for your time! :thumbsup2

Not quite sure what you are asking. You will be eligible for magic bands for both reservations. If you don’t want 2 sets, you can decline one. I would say to decline the first set, since you will have the extra person on your second reservation. Or if some of you want 2 colors, you could order both. Remember, the bands just access your MDE, they are not specific to the reservation. So they will work for both reservations interchangeably.

Slippers and robes? Keep the slippers? Doesn’t seem like something you wouldn’t keep? (GRAND Floridian RPC is where we are!)
Keep the slippers if you use them. I save mine for travel to places that don't have hotel slippers. In a pinch you can wear them to the pool or spa. Also, once I was crammed on a plane from Frankfurt to Denver and could not get my shoes back on, walked off the plane shoeless. I dug my hotel slippers out of my luggage before we went through customs, and wore them in the airport and on the connecting flight home.

That would be the last time I flew coach, too. Never again.

Sound machines, sound machines, sound machines! We use two at a time and never hear any of these noises. Dohm is considered to be the best, it’s white noise only.

Our last room at BCV was right by the pool, right by the maid service door, and right by the ice machine. And we couldn’t hear anything!

I have an app on my phone that does nature sounds, I love it!

DW and I have had many wonderful visits to the BWI in standard rooms.

If you want a king bed I would definitely make that your number one request as, if memory serves, most of the standard rooms have two queens.

We almost always ended up in a room with a nice quiet view of the garden courtyard, fountain, or quiet pool. Once we got a view that looked out over the meeting center roof. In the beginning we requested an Epcot view and were rewarded with views of the Eiffel Tower or Spaceship Earth in the background. And a nice view of the higher Illumination fireworks.
Wishing you a pixiedust: visit!
I wish the BWI had a courtyard room in their deluxe CL selection. The views are really wonderful but I know I'll spend a lot more time trying to sleep with a noisy Boardwalk than enjoying the view! But, we need the space. :confused3

Okay Thanks! That was exactly what I needed to know. :thumbsup2

Are there slippers and robes in all CL rooms?! This excites me far too much...

I've had robes in all CL rooms (a few the nice, soft, cushy ones and most the rougher waffle style ones...) but I have only had slippers in some. I'm thinking I've had slippers in less than half of the CL rooms I've stayed in.

I completely agree!!!! Only a couple weeks left!! All packed??

No, ugh! My initial thinking was since it's a short stay we would enjoy RPC and a different park each morning and then a different park each night too so we can take in all the Christmas lights, etc. Now I'm thinking of booking MVMCP even though I said I wasn't going to. Then of course that leads to maybe I should book JBJB party because that would be something completely new to us. I just don't want to be gone from RPC too much because I really want to enjoy that too. I know, such tough problems Lol!
