Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Checking in 11/20- GF, Sugarloaf. I did on-line check in already. If we happen to get lucky and get a "room ready" text, can we bypass the FD and go straight to room, or because it is CL, do we need to be escorted up?
. We were there about 2 weeks ago. We did receive a room ready text, and were planning to head over to SL outselves. When we arrived they met us outside and escorted us, but we tapped our own magic bands to enter the building, so I believe they would work without a stop at the front desk. Enjoy your trip!

We've stayed in the Main Building and thus had access to RPC before, but never Sugar Loaf. I am a little nervous about the reports I've read about SL being noisy, and that in particular the lower floor rooms and the ones in the immediate vicinity of the lounge area can hear a lot of the activity going on in the lounge. Can some experienced SL folks suggest what I should say when I send in my room request? Typically I don't bother with those and just hope for the best, but in this case I want to try to avoid the noisy rooms.

We stayed on the 3rd floor, on the building side closer to the boat dock. We had a view of a tree primarily, and the walking path next to the marina area. We heard absolutely no noise from the lounge. I will say the lounge had a very loud/noisy feel on the whole, and although I cannot confirm first hand that an adjacent first floor room would be loud, I suspect it would be, and was happy we were further away.

Even though you have a standard room booked, you can request a boardwalk view room. I would contact Signature Services and request close to the lounge and a boardwalk View. You will love it there. Enjoy your trip!
Thanks! Signature Services just left a message for me, so I will call them back and chat. Good to know! :flower:

Congrats on the great AP rate! I had my first BWI CL stay this past June and I loved it! I was hoping to be close to the lounge as well, so my requests were #1 close to lounge and #2 inside the CL security doors. We were assigned room #4230, which was great as it was just 2 doors down from the lounge. The balcony was average size, but plenty of room for a couple people to sit out there. We were over the garden cottages with a quiet pool view, but also had a nice view of the Epcot fireworks. Hope you have a great time and enjoy BWI CL :wizard:.
Thanks for the insight! sounds like the perfect location and view!

Just booked BWI Club level for January and I couldn't be more excited!! We've never stayed club level at Disney, but we have stayed on concierge floors a couple of times at other hotels, and my 14yo DDs have loved it. The AP rate for the week we were going was just too good to pass up, so I decided to surprise them and give them a chance to feel really pampered for the week.

Any suggestions for room requests? We are booked in a standard-CL . My preferences would be #1 near lounge, and #2 decent size balcony (there are 4 of us, with 2 teenagers, so space is important).

Wooo Hoooo :yay:
We stayed our first time in September, also with an AP rate, which made it that much better. Booked Standard View and made 2 requests....boardwalk view and inside Innkeepers Door. We were given the very last room at the end of hall....but we were inside the Innkeeper door...as far in as we could get...lol. When checking in I told Brittney we had hoped for a water view room. She offered to move us the next day. We were given a king room directly across from lounge. This room wouldn’t do you any good since you have 4 people, but I would definitely take close to lounge probably over a view....those hallways are long. Enjoy your stay! CL here is spectacular in every way!

Staying at AKL CL next year... the last two years we have stayed at SSR so are used to quite a bit of space in the room. Are there any club level rooms here that have a bed and a pull out sofa, same as SSR, so we feel like we have some extra space (just us two adults so only need one bed!), or are they all two beds / bed and bunkbed?

They are all 2 queen beds or a queen and a bunk bed. No daybeds. The rooms are smaller than other deluxes except for WL. We still do fine in them with 4, though.

Slippers and robes? Keep the slippers? Doesn’t seem like something you wouldn’t keep? (GRAND Floridian RPC is where we are!)

Ick on taking the slippers home. They're cheap..not likely to go through a washing machine very well and you certainly wouldn't want to NOT wash them, after walking all over the hotel room. Just my opinion....:).

They look perfectly washable to me. When they come they look like they are sealed from washing, but I could be wrong. I still don't keep them, never heard that anyone does. But maybe folks keep them all the time and just don't mention it

I don't bring them home nor do I wear them. They are generic and too large for most people. Years ago at the GF you got a pair of medium and a pair of large slippers with the GF logo on them, we took those home. :)

:cool1:WOOHOO I am geeked. Called DSS today to attempt to book my CL fastpasses. I explained I had a glitch of not having my full stay available at CL and that one day I really wanted the purchased fast passes for was not at club level for DHS. Since I already had dining and Hoop De Doo booked, it would be hard to move that around, BUT she said since the majority of my days were on CL and since I would be booking two of my purchased days while being on CL, they would allow me to use day number 3 on my non CL at WL. The only snag was I have to wait a few more days because one has to do it all at once and thus I have to go to my end day of trip. Well I am greatly relieved because this was a deal breaker if I could not get DHS fastpasses, helped make the exra price more worthwhile, and doing it this far in advance is a blessing. Now I won't have to wait and be stressed to get what I want. AND it gives me a few more days to figure things out. I explained that the new day to book was when someone would be home and ruin the surprise if I had to go through a long conversation but she suggested I email my requests and that way they can call me to confirm these are my choices and book them without step by step......I am quite happy they worked with my situation to meet my trip needs. :thumbsup2

Since you mentioned SSR did you by chance book an AKL CL DVC room or just a regular CL room? You would know because you can't book an AKL CL DVC room through Disney, only through DVC or very rarely a DVC rental company. If you did indeed get lucky and get a DVC AKL CL room then it will be the same set up as SSR. Otherwise it will most likely be 2 queens. According to TP there's 1 king + daybed (4431) at AKL CL but that could be wrong.

I have had a handicap CL room , not requested nor needed, twice & it felt huge! It had a king bed & a small couch, which may or may not have converted to a bed. And the handicap bathroom was awesomely large too!
I don’t know if it actually had more square footage, but having only one bed made it feel quite spacious. Just wish I knew the room number!
This was at AKL- I don’t think the quote worked!

They told me that I could get CL all trip at the YC and I thought about that for a second ....but all my plans are centered around the WL locale....I was also told the VP suite was available on CL at the WL....I had a good giggle over the price but did suggest I was available for an upgrade!!!princess: Just thought I should mention it.....:cool2:
