>> Refillable Mug FAQ <<

The handles are all white, not the lids. The current lid colors are pink, purple, blue, and red.
Ah - I mixed it up in my head! Thanks for clarifying!! Also thanks for the color options! We'll be there in December and while hopefully they'll do a holiday Mug (the Halloween ones have us hopeful) if they don't we want to prep for who gets what color lid so there's no fighting hahaha

Of course! I definitely understand. Sometime we coordinate to MBs (if we can).

The only caveat about the Halloween mugs or a potential holiday one (I would love this too!) is that they are all identical. Unless you have an old lid that you may be able to swap out, you may want to write on the bottom or something. You can also have names added to the mugs digitally so it displays when you fill. I know this is true with the Freestyle machines, unsure of the older Rapid Refill machines.

This is exactly what we were worried about if they do have a holiday-themed one but we think the fun design would outweigh the lid issue. We could always either just write on the bottoms or get little stickers to differentiate. I personally would love a holiday-themed one more but I'll take whatever they have and make it work for everyone

With Disney starting to phase out straws and lids from drinks in the parks, have there been any talks of being able to use the resort mugs at the restaurants in the parks?? Obviously still paying for the beverage itself.

And yes I know people are more than welcome to bring there mugs and pour whatever you get for a drink into them, but that still ends up wasting a paper cup.

Anyone put a mug through the dishwasher (top shelf) once and have the chip still work? DH did this to my Christmas mug last night. Of course, we're back home now, but depending on how limited these turn out to be, I was considering bringing it and reactivating it on my next trip. It's really cute!

I haven't heard of them "reactivating" a mug. I think the chip may be damaged since it went through the dishwasher anyway.

I've definitely seen reports of people re-activating their mugs on future visits. There might even be reports in this thread somewhere. The cost to reactivate is the same as purchasing a new mug so other than the environmental impact, there isn't any incentive to bring back your old mug. And in the PPs case, I agree that the chip was most likely ruined in the dishwasher.

I know the activation cost is the same as for a new mug. It's just that the Halloween mugs seem to have been pretty scarce, so if the Christmas mugs are similarly rare, I might want to bring it back on a future visit.

I understand. I was just replying to the PP who said they hadn't heard of them reactivating mugs. :)

Pop Everything Christmas Refillable Mugs located on the top shelf with brown caps. They seem to restock every day and shelves vary in the number from the regular and Christmas mugs.

Sometimes the ratio of Pop Everything Christmas Refillable Mugs to Pop Everything Regular Refillable Mugs is one to one or one to three.

Located at the end of one of the cash registers.

This location always seemed to have all Pop Everything Christmas Refillable Mugs, not the Pop Everything regular Refillable Mugs

Pop Everything Christmas Refillable Mug views from all sides.

I am left handed so I alway saw the first photo on the left of Minnie Mouse when drinking.

Right handed guests would see the photo on the right of Mickey Mouse

Pop Everything Christmas Refillable Mugs located on the two shelves with brown caps. They seem to restock every day and shelves vary in the number from the regular and Christmas mugs.

The Pop Everything Dining area located at the end of one of the cashier stations.

If you have never used a refillable mug, you pay for it and then the cashier will activate the bottom of the mug so that the soda/cola stations will recognize your mug for the length of stay of your vacation.

I saw a lot of guests holding their refillable mugs in the air and wondering why the soda/cola push button doesn't fill their mug.

You have to place the refillable mug down on the platform below the spout to allow the sensor to recognize your refillable mug.

There is also a small digital screen above that describes why you may not be able to obtain a drink.

So on Dec 15 (today) Pop has the Holiday mugs with the Black lids, but we didn't see any with the rust lids.
