“Please Don’t Pop My Disney Bubble!” TR 8/11-8/20 *New 1/1, It’s a wrap!!

Looks like you two had a great morning in MK. We'd be joining you in FL 3 days later so I can attest to how hot it was. Though of course now I forget all about that and am ready for another August trip :sunny::D

It was funny because she actually pushed me up when we were getting ready to go. It was weird because I don’t know if she was wanting us gone or if she thought she was helping me.:lmao:
:confused3 Maybe she just assumed you were a princess who required such extra attention ;)

Next up was People Mover, an awesome ride, let’s see a show of hands out there, who thinks this is a super wonderful ride:thumbsup2
YES!!!!!!!!! My absolute favorite!!!!!!!! ::yes::::yes::

What a fun morning! You ladies did so many rides! Love all the pictures.

I never utilize the train as much as I wish I did. Bummer that it will be closed in January too!

Next up was People Mover, an awesome ride, let’s see a show of hands out there, who thinks this is a super wonderful ride:thumbsup2 I know some of you are raising your hand now, I am!!
Me! Me! I have always enjoyed the People Mover. It's such a simple concept, but fun none the less.

We rode Buzz, I was happy to be a Space Ace with 435,000 points. Andi was grumpy because she didn’t make Galactic hero:scared1:
Wow, you did well. I tried to read up on the ride before my trip and I did better, but still only broke 300,000. I really have a hard time trying to figure out where the little red dot is going.

We sat next to a very large group of annoying people. They thought it was fun to yell and act stupid during the show
I've had some of that before. It's so frustrating.

Love Andi`s face on Buzz and SM too...….so cool!

The Halloween stuff looks lovely......and yep, hate being stuck with annoying people like that....and I love lemon scented soap too!!!

Great pictures as always and what a lovely smile you both have!!! I love your pictures...….:wave2:

they were howling and chanting something furious!

So cool! I have yet to see this in person.

A little further down the path, Chip and Dale were meeting in there Dinosaur outfits, oh my so stinking cute!!

I so badly wanted to meet them in their Dinosaur costumes last week! But my family doesn't do meet and greets so I walked away from it.

I had bought Andi and I portable fans from Amazon for this trip and I used mine many times, it was great!

I got these for me and my Mom too, they came in handy when I was there in August and Mom and I both used ours in October.

It was time to check in at Yak and Yeti,

We had an awesome meal here last week, it's becoming one of my favorites.

Love this ride, check out all the posers on the photo, I guess everyone is getting the memo for ride poses!

Awesome ride photo!

We did make it to PPF quickly despite the herding.

We missed this one last week. :sad1: We only did rope drop at MK one day and I started us with Jungle Cruise since I knew it was closed during MNSSHP. We used a lot of our party time doing rides.

Next up was People Mover, an awesome ride, let’s see a show of hands out there, who thinks this is a super wonderful ride

They thought it was fun to yell and act stupid during the show

:headache: I hate when people do that. I don't mind little kids ooohing and ahhhing and trying to grab the 3D effects but adults should know better.

We headed into Country Bears for more aircon and a silly show. I do always enjoy this show.

One of my favorites! And also a great place for air conditioning!

I actually felt a little queasy on the ride! The outside area of the ride was sweltering today.

My Mom struggled a little with the heat last week. We had a couple of days that were almost as hot as when I was there in August!

Ugh, that's the worst. My DS gets SOOOOO MAD when people talk on rides :(
I can’t believe how annoying some people can be in attractions. I don’t know why they feel the need to be so loud and stupid, ugh!!

Love that…my mom and I do this quite a bit to just rest and relax
The train is so nice to hop on and off of, especially when really hot and crowded!

Always nice to have a chance to mellow out and relax
The afternoon relax time is always a welcome treat!

I felt the same about the California rolls at Kona....I had better from our local grocery store! The bread pudding looks delish though
Yes, Andi was not impressed! The bread pudding was yummy!

I would have been teary too!
Ahh it was so beautiful after a long day to listen to the piano man

I love PPF too!
On of my favorite rides in the MK

Haha...hard to know...
It was so weird how she physically gave me a push, lol! Must have been my shirt, like @StarWarsMomofGirls! Said!

My absolute favourite!!
The PM has such fond memories for me at MK!

Country Bears is a must do for us every time.
The Bears are so entertaining and funny, hehe

I love the train for a nice spot to relax.
The train was a wonderful, relaxing, and cooling attraction on this day!
Maybe she was mad that you were wearing Belle on your shirt instead of her.
I bet she was, I forgot about my Belle shirt, lol!

Caroline, I love the pic with Jack Jack. I've never seen that done before...It's really cute.

Looks like you and Andi are having a blast in MK!!!!
Thank you Jenny, I really liked those special Incredible photo pass areas!
We were having fun even though it was really hot!

Looks like you two had a great morning in MK. We'd be joining you in FL 3 days later so I can attest to how hot it was. Though of course now I forget all about that and am ready for another August trip :sunny::D
It was a hot one, I am like you, soon I am wishing for the hot Florida weather. Today is only 40 degrees and I would love some Florida heat!

Maybe she just assumed you were a princess who required such extra attention
Yes it was odd. I think she was being helpful but it was weird!
YES!!!!!!!!! My absolute favorite!!!!!!
Ahh love the PM, I can do it multiple times!

What a fun morning! You ladies did so many rides! Love all the pictures.

I never utilize the train as much as I wish I did. Bummer that it will be closed in January too!
Thank you, we did have a productive morning even with the heat and crowds. The train was so nice on this day and a relaxing ride! I will miss the train in January!

Me! Me! I have always enjoyed the People Mover. It's such a simple concept, but fun none the less.
Yay another PM fan! Great ride.

Wow, you did well. I tried to read up on the ride before my trip and I did better, but still only broke 300,000. I really have a hard time trying to figure out where the little red dot is going.
I have been a galactic hero once, only because the ride stopped for a little while and I was able to rack up some points! I never know where I am aiming either.

I've had some of that before. It's so frustrating.
People just don’t think how their behavior can ruin the experience for others.

That satsuma perfume balm
The couple I got are so lovely, I can’t remember the names of them right now, lol!

Love our lunches here! One of our favorites!
We love the Beast’s castle! Lunch is very good!

Ahh Thank you!
I love Halloween and all the decorations everywhere! Do you all celebrate Halloween over there? I know you love the time of year and HHN event!
I love lemon scented soaps or scrubs so nice!

So cool! I have yet to see this in person.
It was really cool and I hadn’t experienced the monkeys hollering and chanting.

I so badly wanted to meet them in their Dinosaur costumes last week! But my family doesn't do meet and greets so I walked away from it.
It was fun, maybe in May you can meet them

I got these for me and my Mom too, they came in handy when I was there in August and Mom and I both used ours in October.
My fan was a lifesaver it really worked well!

We had an awesome meal here last week, it's becoming one of my favorites.
Y&Y is one of our favorites as well

Awesome ride photo!
I really like that photo, it is fun to pose for the pictures

We missed this one last week. :sad1: We only did rope drop at MK one day and I started us with Jungle Cruise since I knew it was closed during MNSSHP. We used a lot of our party time doing rides.
We like to do rides during the party too! We also love trick or treating at the party!
I hate when people do that. I don't mind little kids ooohing and ahhhing and trying to grab the 3D effects but adults should know better.
I agree so annoying when doing it on purpose!

One of my favorites! And also a great place for air conditioning!
I am liking the Country Bear’s more and more.

My Mom struggled a little with the heat last week. We had a couple of days that were almost as hot as when I was there in August!
I did feel queasy a few days from the heat, once I drank a ton of water and rested I was fine. The heat can really get to you and it sneaks up on you!

Hello Everyone!

When I left off, we were riding the rails to Fantasy Land. We really took advantage of the train today and it worked well for us!
IMG_Nov22018at92802AM.jpg

We departed the wonderful train in the Storybook Circus area, this is such a cute area. I enjoyed watching some little ones getting wet in the Splash and Spray area. I was tempted to join in. We went into Gaston’s for a little while. They have water set up and you don’t have to wait in line at the counter for it. We drank some water and looked at all the cool things in this little place. Disney does go all out to capture the details of each area. We were not able to sit in the big Gaston chair today, it was occupied. Can you all believe I still have not had the big cinnamon roll here. Maybe one day!
IMG_Nov22018at92742AM.jpg
It was getting close to our ADR time so we made our way over to Be Our Guest. I decided to try and check in a little early and today it was no problem. Our ADR was at 1:40 and we were in and seated at 1:30, yay! I always preorder and this saves time for sure. We were able to sit in the ballroom area, this is my favorite spot. We are close to the beautiful windows in the back. The snow looks lovely falling from those windows, not my windows, ugh!
IMG_Nov22018at92717AM.jpg IMG_Nov22018at92647AM.jpg IMG_Nov22018at92626AM.jpg
I went up to get our silverware, drinks, and napkins. The line was huge in the ballroom, not sure why. I went in the library room and there was no line at all, so keep this in mind if you are eating lunch here, check the library if a long line in Ballroom. Both areas have the same drinks and silverware.

Our food arrived in about 10-15 minutes. I decided to get the carved turkey sandwich, this has turkey and Dijon mustard on a baguette and it is served warm with fries. Here it is, the fries were way overdone, so this was a disappointment. The sandwich was good. Sorry the picture isn’t the best!
IMG_Nov22018at92606AM.jpg
Andi got the Croque Monsieur, she has always had this never tries anything else. This has the grilled ham, gruyere cheese, and bechamel and served with fries. Her fries were a little better than mine but not much! She liked her sandwich. Here it is...
IMG_Nov22018at92409AM.jpg
We split the Master’ Cupcake, this is a chocolate cupcake with the grey stuff on top. We enjoyed this, it was a moist cupcake and the grey stuff is yummy. My only complaint is it keeps getting smaller and smaller. Here it is......
IMG_Nov22018at92432AM.jpg
We enjoyed our lunch, it was not real crowded and the noise level was tolerable. We have been many times for lunch and only had one bad experience so the place is one of our favorite spots for a QS lunch at MK. We cooled down and drank a lot of water and were ready to head back out to the heat.

We did a little shopping in the Emporium on Main Street, I thought these shirts were really cute and it reminded me of all my dis friends!
IMG_Nov22018at92530AM.jpg IMG_Nov22018at92500AM.jpg
We decided it was time to head back to the GF for an afternoon rest. The boat was arriving as we got close to this area so we did this instead of monorail. Nice quick boat ride, the GF is the first stop. Our room was cleaned and the beds looked so inviting for a nice rest. Andi went to fill her mug and we settled in for a little nap and more sitcoms!

Stay tuned for our evening in Epcot, yes, we did finally get to Epcot and Soarin!!
Cont. in the next post.........

This was on my to do list for a long time. I finally had one. They are huge! It could be a meal for one. Even shared it's a good snack. If you get one sometime, just remember to ask for extra icing!

After a nice rest, we headed to Epcot via the monorail. I want to mention the good monorail mojo we had this trip. We never waited more than 5 minutes for all monorails, never stopped for clearance, weather, etc. etc... we almost always had a seat and the best thing, the cow barn smell was not bad and the air conditioners were working! Ahh the little things so important!:worship::cool1:

We arrived in Epcot about 6:30pm and discovered at park closing today it was DVC Moonlight Magic. The park did seem crowded related to this maybe?? SE had a small SB line so we jumped in and it was moving along and all of a sudden came to a complete stop:eek:

IMG_Nov22018at100341AM.jpg IMG_Nov22018at100317AM.jpg
We literally stood in the same spot for at least 15 minutes, it was hot and we were not feeling like waiting so we bailed the line!

We made our way slowly to WS and decided to eat in Morocco at Tangerine Cafe. How we have never tried this place is beyond me. We love this type of food and have always heard great reviews, however we had never been before. We shared the Shawarma Platter with the chicken and lamb. This is served with Hummus, Tabouleh, Couscous, and Fresh Moroccan Bread. It was busy in the cafe so we had to eat outdoors. The area was shaded at least but it was hot! Oh my this platter was so good, we both loved it and ate everything!!
IMG_Nov22018at100448AM.jpg
We headed back towards The Land to use our Soarin FP.
IMG_Nov22018at100714AM.jpg
For some reason the FP line was so slow tonight! It took 30 minutes, yuck! I’m surprised Andi didn’t get mad and complain:sad2: I never could really figure out the problem, maybe only 1 theater open? We finally soared around the World! We actually got the B concourse, not row 1, row 2 but still okay by me.

SE was still down when we walked by so glad we didn’t waste more time waiting on that. We decided to head out since the DVC event was bringing in many more people.

Back at the GF we bought a few snacks and more bottled water at the gift shop. I could hardly believe a large bag of Lay’s Potato chips, my favorite, were less than our grocery store, you don’t see that to often at Disney. I had to get those!
upload_2018-11-2_10-17-41.jpeg
We watched HEA again from the resort and than turned in for a good nights sleep!

Food total for today,
Lunching Pad= $6.06
BoG= $37.25
Tangerine Cafe= $15.97
Sandy Cove= $10.85, chips and water
Total= $70.13

Stay tuned for Day 6, an early morning do over......................

They have water set up and you don’t have to wait in line at the counter for it.

That's good to know, I'll have to remember to look for that in May because it will probably be hot.

It was getting close to our ADR time so we made our way over to Be Our Guest. I decided to try and check in a little early and today it was no problem. Our ADR was at 1:40 and we were in and seated at 1:30, yay!

One of my favorites! I hate how inconsistent they are with check in though. One time I waited in line to check in and I was 7 minutes before our ADR time. The CM would not check me in until 5 minutes before hand so I had to get out of line and go to the end to wait again!

I always preorder and this saves time for sure.

Definitely! My brother and SIL were skeptical about the need to do this but once they saw the line to order, they were impressed with my Disney knowledge. :rotfl2:

I went in the library room and there was no line at all, so keep this in mind if you are eating lunch here,

I actually sit in that room often because it's usually much less crowded and quieter than the ballroom.

I decided to get the carved turkey sandwich

Mmmmmm, my favorite dish. Too bad about the fries though.

We literally stood in the same spot for at least 15 minutes, it was hot and we were not feeling like waiting so we bailed the line!

Sounds like a good decision. That line is pretty boring to wait in.

We made our way slowly to WS and decided to eat in Morocco at Tangerine Cafe.

My brother really wanted to eat here last week but the rest of us couldn't find something we liked there so we ended up at Yorkshire. I think he would have gone on to Morocco by himself but it was so crowded with the food and wine crowd, he just decided to get fish and chips with the rest of us. I promised him that Tangerine Cafe would be top priority next time we went.

We enjoyed our lunch, it was not real crowded and the noise level was tolerable. We have been many times for lunch and only had one bad experience so the place is one of our favorite spots for a QS lunch at MK. We cooled down and drank a lot of water and were ready to head back out to the heat.
I have a reservation for lunch at BOG and I keep flipping back and forth on whether I want to keep it. I hear that it isn't that great any more...

The area was shaded at least but it was hot! Oh my this platter was so good, we both loved it and ate everything!!
img_nov22018at100448am-jpg.362823
This is on my list to try! We love Chicken Shawrma! and that looks really good.

Can you all believe I still have not had the big cinnamon roll here. Maybe one day!
I most definitely cannot believe this! One of my favorites.

Our food arrived in about 10-15 minutes. I decided to get the carved turkey sandwich, this has turkey and Dijon mustard on a baguette and it is served warm with fries. Here it is, the fries were way overdone, so this was a disappointment. The sandwich was good. Sorry the picture isn’t the best!
img_nov22018at92606am-jpg.362789
Sorry the fries were a bust but your sandwich sounds awesome. I do like BoG lunch but we haven't been there in forever.

. we almost always had a seat and the best thing, the cow barn smell was not bad and the air conditioners were working! Ahh the little things so important!:worship::cool1:
upload_2018-11-2_10-9-24-gif.362817
Too funny its a cow barn to you. Its totally the elephant house at the zoo in my world.

This look great. Totally my kind of food too though we haven't eaten here in ages.

I could hardly believe a large bag of Lay’s Potato chips, my favorite, were less than our grocery store, you don’t see that to often at Disney. I had to get those!
