Is anyone planning on paying for Reunion Station for an upcoming trip?

I think what bothers me most with Union Station, is that you must purchase for each and every day of your stay. If we wanted to do it for our upcoming stay it would be $1500 for 4 or 5 hours of access a day? Holy moly. Other then a very light menu, what are they really offering (that's an honest question lol)? I assume this is a trial, like the cabanas at MK. I hope that those that do it will find value in their money spent. If I could pick a choose days I would like to go i.e. no park days, I would like that. I might find value in that.

This is why we’re trying it on a short 2-night stay. I totally agree it would be a ridiculous amount of $$$ for a family (there are only 2 of us) on a longer stay considering how limited it is.

I’m honestly surprised they didn’t introduce it at a lower cost to get more interest; then raise the price once enough members have spread the word what a nice experience it was. :confused3

Since my DD works at WL and knows most of the CMs who will be working in Reunion Station, I am planning to do it once. Our BRV stay is in late May. I'm sure others will have posted their experiences by then, but I'll be sure to come back to this Forum and let y'all know my thoughts about the experience. I'm assuming I won't have any trouble getting this upcharge added to our reservation!

It is pricey for what we have heard they're offering. I hope they'll be interested in Member feedback because I'll be ready to give it - good, bad, or indifferent!

Sounds like a water down version of normal CL. It may be the direction Disney would like to go with all CL.

I liked the idea of added concierge. This plan is not really concierge, Limited hours that would not be useful unless not going to the parks. I would rather just pay for the quick service dining plan and choose where to eat and when.

Has anyone tried the Reunion Station add-on yet? Any reviews?

I thought I had posted here after our stay. We had a 2-night BRV reservation in May which allowed us 3 days of RS access. We loved it and really hope DVC figures out how to make it successful. DD and I are returning to BRV in less than 2 weeks and have it booked again.

The Lounge was very comfortable and the food was delicious. The wines served in the late afternoon service are wines from Artist Point.

I did send DVC and Disney an email with my critique and got a call several days later. I don’t know that anything I said will make a difference, but they are definitely hoping to make this work and realize they may need to do something about the cost.

Either lower the cost or up the offerings. We do have it booked for Oct for the 1 night (2 days) we are there.

Thank you so much for your review! Glad you liked it. We are staying two nights at Copper Creek and after your review, we will definitely try it.

I hope you like it as much as we did! The CMs working there are some of the best CMs you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting! I do have photos of the food & beverage offerings, but I can't post photos here. Sorry, I've tried!

The Workshops are pretty popular so I plan on trying several of those (not this upcoming trip though - later in the summer/early autumn). Those do often book up in advance. I have a Beverage Tasting booked - the cost is $40, but that's all inclusive (tax + gratuity).

I agree and both those suggestions were in my email to DVC and Disney! ;) I went with the attitude 'it's prepaid so my money's been spent. Now I just want to enjoy the experience, especially since you never know when things will change with Disney!' And when I let the fretting over the $$$ spent go, I really enjoyed it!! ;)

Nope - not getting NEAR that thing... :). A little extreme, but hoping the state of FL is considering a "controlled burn" in the area :).

Kinda surprised that they limited this to just direct buyers. If it doesn't sell to well that might change.

Thanks for posting your update. Was the wine all you cared to enjoy? Did you happen to notice the beers they served? I love a good glass of red wine, but DH is a beer drinker and I notice they offered the beer too.

Personally, it isn't something I would normally do but for $50 if the beer and wine is all you care to enjoy I can do some serious damage in that period of time. When you pay over $8 for a beer and $14+ for a glass of wine on Disney property that adds up pretty quick, and then add in the "snacks" when bar food also costs $10+++ then consider your cost for breakfast at another $10+. Two or Three drinks, a couple plates of snacks and breakfast you've gotten your $50 worth pretty quick.

Thank you for any update you have :-)

They just changed it, now pay for who you want, when you want. This is likely because they couldn't even get cash cow DVC owners to pony up.
Now just bring it down by $20 a day and it will start to become tempting......
