Official Wine & Dine 2018

I'm glad my first couple races still had the physical guides. The old virtual guide was buggy (and mostly unusable once you got there), but this thing. I feel bad for newbies. And don't you love the expo map! (This maybe came out too early?)
Still not printer friendly I’d imagine... guess print screen and cropping will be my friend

I am not liking the latest redesign of the RunDisney site. Why do I need to click "Help & Support" or scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Manage Account" to sign in? Or am I missing something obvious? Please tell me I am.

Yep, That's the only way I found it too.

So has anyone spotted the link for waivers are available? On old runDisney race site it was always visible and would turn blue when they were available, now...I cant' even find such a creature. Just reminders to download and print around 2 weeks before.

I actually did find this last night. The link is under “Reminders” on the event guide, but it isn’t active yet. https://guide.rundisney.events/reminders/waivers/

I'm really curious what's on top of the champagne flute

I’ve did the 10K last year and I realize I’m not the most observant at 4 am. Can someone tell me where this is or is it just the half? It’s under the reminders section, Race day and under the champagne picture.

Food and Beverage
  • On race day, participants and spectators can enjoy a variety of food and beverage offerings before, during and post race. From coffee, fruit and breakfast sandwiches to post-race hamburgers and celebratory drinks, you won’t want to miss these delicious menus items!

Does anyone see mention of times and transportation posted for spectators just wanting to catch a ride to the finish the morning of the half?

If I had to guess, it’s the beer truck/tent in the finishers area in the parking lot. I know they’ve had three different beers and champagne in the past, as well as food - but I never paid attention to the food menu. There will also be a food truck or two both the start and finishers area.

Anyone seen anywhere still offering half marathon bibs at/near cost without hotel/ticket requirements? Found what I thought was a place but after credit card submittal and e-mail confirmation for just the bib, they bait and switched to the 2 night plus hopper tickets requirements that I guess are standard now for travel agencies. We're randomly going to happen to be there just for the day that weekend so I would run, but not if it's excessive additional expense to do so. We're DVC and kids are too young for the parks, so just need the bib.

TAs and charities are contracted to sell bibs with the ticket and hotel requirements. It’s not a bait-and-switch, it’s literally the only way they’re able to have a bib issued from Disney Sports.

You can have the requirement waived if you have a DVC reservation AND an AP or are a CM. Also, if you live within 25 miles, you can possibly have the room requirement waived, but that’s harder to get activated this close to a race weekend.

I was looking for it too and the only thing I saw was a reference to checking the boards at the resorts. Might have missed it though. It made me wonder if the guides weren’t complete yet or maybe they were doing a generic template.
