Can I please verify that nothing has changed since the 2017 update and that the gratuity for Cinderella's Royal Table is included in the meal price? Thanks in advance :goodvibes

So, if I'm using the DDP, the easiest thing to do is to write the tip in, which they will then charge back to room? Do I need to say, or is this standard procedure?

Thanks for the response. We've actually been and back now, and found we had no problem just leaving cash for the tip as we decided we didn't want to charge that. I always wrote "cash" in the tip line and took a picture, although there was no issue.

Taking a photo is a great idea. We are on the DDP plan also for our first trip in November. I didn't even think about charging things to the room. If the tip is charged to the room, does that mean we can essentially use Gift Cards for tipping if that's how we pay our balance at the end?

Yup. We do this every trip. A few times a trip I go to the front desk and pay off my balance with gift cards. It helps me keep track.

You can pay a tip with a gift card when you pay for your meal too, if you want.

The front page says tip is included in CRT and Hoop-Dee-Doo which we are doing, but what about Mickey's Backyard BBQ?

Say, we are on DDP and also have TIW card. I pay for the meal with DDP, and then order drinks or appetizer that's not covered by DDP. I assume I can get TIW discount for the extra and TIW will automatically add 18% tips. Will the added tips be for the whole meal, or just the extra? I wonder if they'll give me 2 bills instead.

That's an interesting question. I would imagine that the DDP credits will eliminate the line items from the bill leaving you with a balance and the TIW will operate on that balance so you'll have to leave "extra" for the DDP part of the bill on your own.

Can the tip be charged to a different room than the room that has the dining plan credits?

For our upcoming trip, we have several rooms but only one room has the dining plan (the deluxe dining plan, if it matters). If the dining credits are connected to Room 1, can the tip be charged to Room 2's magic band? Or would it be better to just pay for the tips with a credit card at the table?

You can separately pay your tip in any way you desire, including a CC associated with a non dining plan magic band.

The server will be happy to help you. Tell them Dining credits fromm this band/room, tip to be charged to this band. Or cc or cash
They are pretty happy to take your tip anyway you want

We always use one band just for tips and extras on meals. It makes it easier for us to divide it up every few days. O do not like a balance on my card when we check out so on our departure day I pay the tip in cash and write cash on the tip line. Never had an issue.
