Holidays at the Disneyland Resort Returns November 9 through January 6

Love the dates! As DVC members, we are going to try to go the DVC Moonlight Madness Night at DCA on November 15th.

Just booked 12/9-12/15 at Courtyard Anaheim Theme Park Entrance. Have been debating for months. Saw a king with resort view open & jumped on it. It looks like the perfect setup for my family. Crowds look manageable (hopefully), staying in budget but my son will be missing a week of school. We will incorporate some learning with our trip & writing a trip report after. So we’ll make it work. Plus it’s my daughters first trip & I'm beyond excited to see Disney through her eyes!

Just booked 12/9-12/15 at Courtyard Anaheim Theme Park Entrance. Have been debating for months. Saw a king with resort view open & jumped on it. It looks like the perfect setup for my family. Crowds look manageable (hopefully), staying in budget but my son will be missing a week of school. We will incorporate some learning with our trip & writing a trip report after. So we’ll make it work. Plus it’s my daughters first trip & I'm beyond excited to see Disney through her eyes!

12/6-10 Hyatt house It was supposed to be my solo trip but my sis wanted to come. That will be nice too.

We do not celebrate the holidays. We are just coming at a time that is convenient for us and that had decent airfares.

We changed to bwppi. Dont know if that got changed above. I just came to say I increased my room size there! My sis just got dumped by her fiancé. She bought the dress a couple of weeks ago. So maybe all my sibs I’ll come on this trip. Lol I figured she needed something to look forward to.

We've just made the decision to go Dec 9-14 and stay at the GCH. We love that place, and love Christmas at Disneyland

Trying to decide between 12/9-14 or 12/16-21. I have 2 reservations with VGC and need to cancel one. We wanted to avoid the CP, but I was burned Dec 2016 with crazy huge crowds in early-mid December. Some friends went the week prior to Christmas and said it was quiet. But in previous years we tried that week, it was crazy. I lean a little toward 16-21 because of the deluxe AP blackouts though. Thoughts?

Got you down for bwppi. Sorry to hear about your sister. That is just a terrible thing to go thrugh. IMHO, a holiday trip to Disneyland is a good idea.

There are no block out dates during 12/17 to 12/20 for the AP Deluxe passas and above during these dates. Only the SoCal passes are blocked. Not sure if that will help you with your decision.

We haven't been back to Disneyland in over two years, so we are making up for lost time by getting Deluxe APs and heading to the parks in two weeks, November, and December of this year!

I have booked my flights but it looks like hotels are going for 200+/night December 1 - 5. We have gone the past few years during this same time and hotels were a little cheaper. Any ideas on what is going on? I paid about 2100 for Courtyard by Marriott for this same time last year with park hoppers and this year it is 3300? Thanks!

That is awesome! The last half of the year is a great time to make up for lost time. You will love staying on property. Surrounded by the magic of a Disney holiday is truly special. You have been add to the list.
